Studying the environments in which core-collapse supernovae (SNe) explode and evolve is essential to establish the nature of the mass loss and the explosion of the progenitor star. The spatial structure of the outer shock in young core-collapse SNR provides an excellent opportunity to study the nature of the medium into which the remnant has been expanding. I will review studies of the outer shocks in young Galactic SNRs using Chandra X-ray observations and discuss the nature of the winds and the progenitor stars.

This study is on the Management by Policy-Deployment(MBP) a Japanese-devised management system which recently call a widespread awareness and applications among major Korean Industries. The principal nature of MBP was compared with Management by Objectives(MBO) as these two systems share similarities in basic nature. This study is planned to investigate a discussion of private and public nature in household realm. For this purpose, first of all, study precedent concerning the household work and the private and public nature is reviewed. Second, the origin on the privacy of household work and it's relationship of the public part are investigated. Third, it is implicated that through the politicization of household work, it is enable to establish new insight of household work in the family policy.

In connection with the monitoring of the insulation degradation of large power apparatus in order to predict their expected service failures, a statistical treatment, such as phase resolved partial discharge analysis (PRPDA), has been established for the on-line monitoring system during the past decades. However, this method has shown some inconveniences to identify the nature of the PD source in power apparatus. In this regard, a novel approach based on the chaotic analysis (CAPD) is proposed describing the fundamental ideas, outcomes and different viewpoints from the conventional PRPDA. As a model for the possible defects causing sudden failures in service, three types of specimen are prepared. And partial discharge signals, originated from those samples, are measured and analyzed by means of CAPD. Throughout this work, it seems that the correlation between the consecutive PD pulses, depending on the nature of PD, could be clarified by CAPD. Thereffre, it could be considered that the nature of PD source can be identified more distinctively when the CAPD is combined with PRPDA.

The tactile sensor of the future robot is becoming a necessity as a sensory organ which can communicate with the person most directly. Recently, the Nature-inspired technology has provided a new direction for the development of these tactile sensors. Here, we review three different nature-inspired tactile sensory system; high sensitivity pressure sensor inspired by beetle wings, highly sensitive strain sensor inspired by the spider's sensory organs, Tactile sensor inspired by human fingertip. These nature-inspired tactile sensors are expected to provide a breakthrough that not only can sensitively measure the pressure, but also delicately recognize the softness and texture of the material just like human.

The strength of material is scattered owing to the inhomogenity of microstructure, in spite of the same material. Therefore, in order to design the mechanical structure with the reliability engineering, it is important to grasp the statistical nature of material strength. In this paper, effects of grain sezes for the statistical nature of the fatigue crack growth was discussed. And the statistical nature of mechanical properties was compared with the statistical nature of the fatigue crack growth rate.

This study proposed a Rural Amenity Values Assessment Model (RAVAM) to evaluate the rural amenity resources based on the Myun as a spatial unit. In RAVAM, 61 rural amenity resources were classified into almost intact nature resources, interaction between nature and man resources, man-made resources, respectively. Especially, Rural Scenic Value Index (RSVI) was developed to quantify rural scenic views as a rural amenity resource. RSVI was utilized in evaluation process of rural amenity resources. The weighing factors for the amenity resources were evaluated from the step wise pair-comparison results of 11 specialists by Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP). In the results, the weighting values of almost intact nature resources, interaction between nature and man resources, man-made resources were 496, 323 and 181, respectively, among total value being 1,000.

The purpose of this study was to research the symbolic of Ancient Egyptian Crown ornament. The results of this study were summarized as follows. Ancient Egyptians expressed the authority of king and nature worship to the crown ornament. The volume and scale of shape symbolized the authority of king and the nature worship. The brillant and plentiful of colors symbolized the strong1y authority of king. The numbers of patterns symbolized the authority of king and the nature worship.

The aims of this study are to develop and apply a Nature Game program for the ecological experience learning in Jeju Gotjawal forest and analyze the environmental sensitivity change of the students. The results obtained in 4th graders of A elementary school of Seogwipo-city are as follows: It was found that attention, susceptibility and practice will of environment protection for forest environment of the experimental class were significantly higher than those of the comparison class. And it was found that interest and curiosity into forest environment were also elevated in the results of the qualitative evaluation, suggesting that we could get the effect of developed Nature Game program on ecological experience learning. If various ecological experience learning programs considering the regional-specific characteristics are developed to cause students' interest and curiosity, students would come to participate in the protection activity of environment aggressively a little more.

Because 'the nature of universe' and all 'Life field' is 'electro-magnetic field'. 3. The Convergence of Oriental medicine and Western medicine orients 'the harmony of Eum and Yang'.
