The library information service which uses a web is active. But users feel difficulty to use library homepage's content, because many content are accumulated in the library homepage very rapidly. So users want to be customized and personalized the various content which it provides from library home page. The MyLibrary is founded in customization and personalization of library's content. This MyLibrary is suitable for large library. But the MyLibrary can be used as the tool for digital reference service.

This study tried to provide users with customized services by applying the CRM theory of the MyLibrary functions of the academic library system. The first data were collected through documentary survey and homepage survey, and case study of domestic and overseas college libraries was performed and 3 systems among academic library systems were selected to conduct a survey with their librarians and users of the academic libraries. It was found that librarians in charge of each function of services didn't much utilize information data of users created in the MyLibrary functions. As for an improvement method, it was suggested that systematic management to raise recognition on CRM and utilize it as feedback data is required in order to provide high quality services as well as customized information services to users based on data created in MyLibrary.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the basic data for providing library information services of high quality with clients, by designing the model of MyCyberLibrary and evaluating it. The model of MyCyberLibrary was constructed based on the survey results on the information-seeking behavior of users and on the review of the existing mylibraries'functions. The model is implemented into the prototype system which consists of nine modules. Finally, we evaluated the proposed system via mail questionnaires, and proposed three suggestions to make this system a much more comprehensive and effective one.

최근 WWW 환경에서 콘텐츠들이 대량으로 제공되는데 이용자들은 이러한 정보과잉으로 인해 정보를 제대로 소화하지 못하고 있는 형편이다. 따라서 본고에서는 가상 공간에서 개인별 맞춤 정보서비스를 제공하는 전문도서관 MyLibrary(MrCyberLibrary)의 모델을 제시하고자 한다. MrCyberLibrary는 각 연구원의 프로젝트들을 지원하는 My Project, 관심있는 전자저널을 선택하여 링크시키고 최신호가 나오면 New 표시가 나타나는 My Favorite Journal 등을 포함하여 각종 도서관 정보(대출 이력, 예약, 연체) 확인과 희망도서/원문복사 신청 조회를 할 수 있는 모듈들로 구성된다.

This study was intended to seek ways to be social of 'My shelf' service functions based on book reviews and tags that have recently been adopted into the academic library OPAC. To that end, this study conducted case examinations of 'My self' services in the local and overseas organizations and the component elements of contents and systems functions were analyzed from the 'My shelf' service models. Thereby 9 contents information areas were set up for 'My shelf' services.

There is an increasing demand for services utilizing various data such as social data, public data, and personal information. In particular, the United States and the Korean government are working in various ways to utilize My Data. In 2019, the Financial Services Commission in Korea intends to expand financial services using personal information through MyData. This paper will examine MyData issues of the US and European governments and propose ways to promote MyData in Korea in terms of data compatibility and data quality.

This study examines the status of websites operation among libraries affiliated to the Korean Medical Library Association, compares and analyzes website menu organization and information service contents of 29 medical libraries that currently run websites. The followings are results of this study. 1) the main menu of medical library websites is arranged with 'Search for Library Materials, Electronic Resources, Library Service, My Library, Library Guide, and the Bulletin Board.' 2) 15 services were selected as the main information service provided from the medical library website. 3) the information service that was provided from the most institutions was 'Document Copy/ Interlibrary Loan,' followed by 'Loan Reservation/Renewal, Request Library Purchase Book, Off-campus Access, User Education, Reference Resources, Q&A Board, Our Library Pubmed, and Dissertation Submission' in this order.

This study intends to develop, apply, and evaluate a young adult program model for public libraries in Korea. For this, this researcher carried out a SWOT analysis, after examining the current status of domestic and foreign young adult programs, surveying the young adults' interests in and demands for programs, and interviewing the experts of related organizations and groups. As a result, "Book Concert with Youth", "My Dream, My Future", and "Reading Through Cinema", "Fun Learning", and "2 Day 1 Night Reading Camp with Authors" were proposed as the young adult program models.

As the information needs in civil society is getting diverse, the interest in local policy process based on the characteristics of local communities, especially in local policy implementation is growing. However, research in library and information policy has focused rather on policy alternatives than policy process in Korea. In this study, we analyze the policy implementation in "the First Library in my Life" policy in Kyeonggi province with the framework of the Street-Level Bureaucracy Model by Michael Lipsky. In the analysis, we attempt to identify factors in the policy implementation, to examine the usefulness of the model into the situation of Korean library policy, and to suggest major considerations in the policy implementation in Korean public libraries for successful policy implementation. From the results, the usefulness of the model is examined and the need of considering indirect socio-economic factors is suggested.
