For content-based audio retrieval which is one of main functions in audio service, the techniques for extracting fingerprints from the audio source, storing and indexing them in a database are widely used. However, if the fingerprints of new audio sources are continually inserted into the database, there is a problem that space efficiency as well as audio retrieval performance are gradually deteriorated. Therefore, there is a need for techniques to support efficient expansion of audio database without periodic reorganization of the database that would increase the system operation cost. In this paper, we design a content-based audio retrieval system that solves this problem by using MapReduce and NoSQL database in a cluster computing environment based on the Shazam's fingerprinting algorithm, and evaluate its performance through a detailed set of experiments using real world audio data.

There are many business in complex building, and recently noise claims have increased in those buildings. It is one of the most desirable methods reducing the noise level to establish the noise criteria considering the admittable noise level between the source and receiving room, which are to be derived from the subjective response in the real conditions. Because the degree of annoyance and loudness for the intruding noises in complex building could be changed with background noise level, it is suggested to be researched the relationship between the noise levels and subjective response. In this study, the subjective response for three different background levels in receiving business or rooms were investigated for the typical eight business noise source including aerobic music. The results can be summarized as follows. In conditions of low background noise level(40 dB(A)), there is a tendency of intentionally attention situation (listening) in a subjective test. The other hand in conditions of relatively high background noise level(50 dB(A)), there is a unconscious situation (heraing). As the degree of moderately heard or annoyed in SD rating scale means that the noise is easily recognized in neighboring shops, usually the limit of noise criteria were decided on this rating point, so it will be reasonable to be adopted the criteria rating scale as slight heard or annoyed degree (SD criteria 3).

Recently, Virtual Human(VH) has begun to appear in various media, not only on social media, but also in advertisements, music sources, and dramas. Virtual human has become a primary marketing tool for companies, but there also exist concerns when the companies do not disclose the identities of virtual humans. Accordingly, it is necessary to examine users' responses toward content that features virtual humans. This study aimed to examine how the exposure of virtual humans in the content affects users' perceptions. Therefore, the study defined the concept of 'VH Disclosure(VHD)', referring to the exposure of the virtual human's identity, and explored the impact of VH disclosure on attitude toward the ad (Hedonism, Utilitarianism, and Interestingness) and source credibility (Trustworthiness and Expertise). The study conducted an experimental survey with 302 respondents. Regardless of when the ad featured a VH or a human, the results showed that there was no significant difference between users' attitudes and source credibility. The results revealed that it was more effective to disclose the VH in social media feeds than directly reveal the VH's identity in the content. Therefore, this study utilizes a new concept of 'VH Disclosure(VHD)' to enhance the understanding of VH and contributes to establishing marketing strategies optimized for consumers in the creation of virtual human-related content.

Purpose: Home health nurses could affect patients' choice of alternative therapy. This study was carried out to investigate home health nurses' attitudes and cognition toward alternative therapy. Method: The subjects were 92 nurses who preparing the home health nurses at 2 university in Seoul and Suwon. Using the questionnaire. we measured the subjects' attitudes and cognition toward alternative therapy. Result: The mean score of attitudes about application was 3.14. and the score of attitudes about therapeutic effect was 2.57. The score of attitudes about therapeutic effect were significantly positive correlation to the score of cognition about alternative therapy. The attitudes about therapeutic effect were different significantly according to number of working years. But they commonly wanted to apply the soojichim. aroma-therapy. massage. danjon breathing. music therapy. plant therapy. and foot reflexology to their home health care subjects. Conclusion: Alternative therapies became a popular source of health care in Korea. This study showed pre-home health nurses had positive attitudes toward alternative therapies and they had wide variations of knowledge in how to use each therapy. But they acknowledge the value of alternative therapies as useful nursing interventions. so we all nurses should pay attention to develope the nursing intervention using alternative therapy.

This paper describes the investigation on the spot in relation to electrical safety of electrical installation in elementary middle high school. The investigation was carried out for power receiving system, classroom, chemistry room, music hall and so on. The investigation on the spot was performed by researcher, the related expert, engineer with over fifteen years of industry experience all over the country. As a result of investigation on the spot to 41 schools, common grounding methods at power receiving system were dominant. The risk factors include absence of control box of electric fan, non-installation of earth leakage circuit breaker to power source of experiment stand, use of non-grounding outlet.

A guitar, a piano, and a violin are popular musical instruments for User Created Contents(UCC). However the patterns of audio signal generated by a guitar and a piano are too similar to differentiate. The difference between two musical instruments can be found by analyzing the frequency variation per each band near signal peaks. The distribution of probability on the existence of signal peaks based on Cumulative Histogram were applied to musical instrument recognition. Experiments with statistical models of the frequency variation per each band near signal peaks showed the 14% improvement of musical instrument recognition.

This research is a case study for improving the sound environmental quality of cafeteria in university campus. The purpose of the study is to investigate the present condition of physical level, type, and source of indoor noise by comparison with a restaurant near campus. Methods were field survey with measurement on equivalent and instant noise level and observation on noise type, and questionnaire survey to 60 students users. Surveys were carried out in the 8th and the 14th of December 2005. The results are as follows. 1) Indoor noise levels of the cafeteria were measured as $67.2{\sim}76.6$(average 73.3) dB(A)Leq5min and $60.3{\sim}90.5$(average 71.2) dB(A), but noise levels of the restaurant were $61.6{\sim}70.4$(average 66.9) dB(A)Leq5min and $59.8{\sim}70.6$(average 64.9) dB(A). 2) The users's responses on major noise type were 'noise by handling equipment and tableware', 'noise by moving chairs', and 'taking noise' in cafeteria, but 'taking noise' and 'background music' in restaurant. 3) It was found that the differences of indoor noise condition between with 2 subjects were caused by finishing materials, kitchen division type, and furniture type.

주차장에서 발생하는 비점오염을 저감하기 위한 대책이 필요할 것으로 전망됨에 따라 최적관리기법(Best Management Practices, BMP) 또는 저영향개발(Low Impact Development, LID)과 같은 관리방안을 적용하여 강우에 의해 발생되는 강우유출수와 비점오염물질을 동시에 저감하는 연구가 수행되고 있다. 기존 연구사례들에서는 대상유역에서 발생된 강우유출수에 대한 모니터링을 수행을 통해 얻은 자료를 이용하여 비점오염물질 배출량을 산정하였지만, 이러한 방법은 다양한 강우사상에 따른 유출량을 직접 산정할 수 없으며, 미계측 유역에 활용하는데 있어서는 제약이 따르는 한계를 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 강우유출수 개선모형으로 국내 외에서 강우유출수의 모의와 저감시설의 성능평가에 많이 사용되고 있는 MUSIC(Model for Urban Stormwater Improvement Conceptualization) 모형과 SWMM(Storm Water Management Model) 모형을 이용하여 주차장 BMP 설치에 따른 저감효과를 산정하기 위해 주차장에 적합한 대상 BMP(식생수로, 통로화분, 투수성 포장)을 선정하고, 이를 강우유출수 개선모형의 BMP 모듈을 통해 모의하여 저감효과를 산정하는 방법론을 제시하고자 한다. BMP별 저감효과는 통로화분, 투수성 포장, 식생수로 순으로 나타났으며, 모형의 초기우수현상 재현성이 BMP설치에 따른 저감효과에 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 파악되었다.

The inspiration and its application in fashion design is considered as one of the important factors in boosting the fashion arena. Many inspirations are adapted in fashion de-sign and they make the fashion design unique and characteristic. In this study many fashion designs are analyzed to find what kind of inspirations were adapted and utilized for the fashion design in reality. The nature historic costumes ethcin costumes arts sciences literature music sports were revealed as the sources of fashion inspiration.l The concerns on the environments movies and dramas could provide inspirations in fashion as well. Several contents or steps were studied to provide the one of the example of appli-cations as follows: 1. The works of Marc Chagall were analized to figure out and several plastic characteristics from his works were revealed such as fantastic strong colors unreal animal pattern or their details his wife and friends various divisions of the surface and so on. These attributes had been favored in depiction of his works to ex-press his home town or nostalgia. 2. '90s fashion designs inspired by the works of Chagall were analized to find out the meth-odology or the process of designs. The same Chagall colors were used in design and similar pattern were expressed through beaded work or printing jobs. The surface designs such as printing were the most prefered method in adapting the inspirations. 3. The plastic characteristics of the work of Chagall were attempted in clothing design and construction. The color combination patterns which remind the animals the surface divisions were used in design ot practive the methodologies.

In this paper, we will discuss the characteristics of the magnitude and the phase of the piano sound in frequency domain by using the FFT(Fast Fourier Transform). The method deciding the parameters representing those sounds through the mathematical model is described. We used the curve fitting method for the modeling of the harmonic part of the sound including the fundamental frequency in order to minimize the errors between original sounds and modeled sounds. furthermore, we used the line segment approximation method for the modeling of the noise part around fundamental frequency. We also applied the same method for the phase model and could get the modeled sound to be similar to the original sound using the parameters. Therefore the high compression ratio comparing the modeled sound to the original sound is achieved.
