Along with the spread of digital music and recent growth in the digital music industry, the demands for music recommender are increasing. These days, listeners have increasingly preferred to digital real-time streamlining and downloading to listen to music because it is convenient and affordable for the listeners to do that. We use Bayesian learning through weight of listener's prefered music site such as Melon, Billboard, Bugs Music, Soribada, and Gini. We reflect most popular current songs across all genres and styles for music recommender system using user profile. It is necessary for us to make the task of preprocessing of clustering the preference with weight of listener's preferred music site with popular music charts. We evaluated the proposed system on the data set of music sites to measure its performance. We reported some of the experimental result, which is better performance than the previous system.

In this paper, a web-based 3D virtual reality (VR) pavillion of Korean Traditional Music was implemented. The VR pavillion is used for the virtual demonstration and experience of Korean Traditional Music, which provides the information as well as multimedia experience on eight instruments to users through internet. It provides eight web-pages and one an audio-visual classroom on the instruments.

This study is based on literature review and theoretical background, we will explore the interrelationship between music and meditation and meditation image production through music, discuss the relationship between theremin instruments and musical meditation. It also describes whether the musical direction through an emotional approach meets the purpose of music meditation, focusing on the creative process and analysis of the work. In this study, the emotional aspect of music was developed, centering on the auditory characteristics of music and the inner element of meditation, to find the relationship between each other, and to prepare a specific plan for music directing to induce the inner emotion of meditation. This study deduced a way to apply music meditation with an emotional approach centering on the melody through the use of the Theremin instrument, and tried to approach the inner meaning and methodology of the work academically. It is hoped that these studies will contribute to the development of music meditation programs and the expansion of music meditation.

This paper is a study that analyzes the use and techniques of rap in music that entered Melon Chart, one of the major music sites in Korea, during 2020. Among the songs that entered the chart, reflecting the public's preference, the trend of rap music, an important element of hip-hop music, is analyzed and musical features such as representative artists or frequently used rhythm patterns are analyzed. Through this paper, characteristics of rap music favored by the public and artists in recent popular music have been organized and formalized, and based on this, the elements of etude development for technical polishing are summarized. Through this, it is hoped that just like the long-time analyzed and structured performance techniques such as vocals and instruments, various styles of rap music can develop into a systematic and step-by-step technique system for students who want to learn and practice it.

The main objectives of this study were to empirically examine the relationship between the preference of fashion styles of male college students and their individual taste in other areas including music styles and recreation types. Life style and values were also examined for their relationship with the fashion style preferences. Survey questionnaires were distributed to male college students in Seoul, Incheon and Gyeonggi-do during May and June of 2011, and a total of 256 responses were used in the final analysis. The results showed that there were three segments according to the fashion styles - 'modern-dandy', 'resistance style', 'no-individuality' groups - and there were significant differences between groups in terms of their preferred music styles and choice of recreational activities. Modern-dandy group preferred R&B, dance music and ballad, while resistance style group preferred hiphop, dance and reggae music. No-individuality group did not show any preference for a particular type of music. Both modern-dandy and resistance style groups liked sports, while resistance style group showed the lowest preference for hobby and culture. There were also significant differences in lifestyles and values according to the fashion styles of the three groups.

Purpose: This research explores the development of music business distribution channels to attract potential customers based on the current and prior literature. As a result, the research will provide solutions for practitioners in the music distribution channel how they create effective channel in new industry phase which has experienced significant changes due to technological advancement and consumer behavior. Research design, data, and methodology: To obtain textual data in the literature storage, the author conducted content analysis. Even though there are numerous textual resources, selecting only high-quality text data that is only peer-reviewed journal articles and books consistently indicate a high degree of reliability and validity to keep the advantage form content analysis approach. Results: The present study figured out that there are five strategies to attract potential consumers in the music distribution channel, such as (1) 'Marketing Mix', (2) 'Streaming Platforms and Online Music Stores', (3) 'Brick and Mortar Stores and Concerts, and Events', (4) 'Platforms Exclusives and Limited-Edition Merchandise', and 'Partnerships and collaborations. Conclusions: In sum, the practitioners need to consider include building relationships with the fans, studying and understanding their target market, utilizing multiple available distribution channels, embracing new technologies, and analyzing the effectiveness of the adopted distribution channels.

This study aims to develop Korean film music by using Korean traditional music with proper technique. As of 2019, current Korean film music is mostly modeled after Western music. The usage of traditional music instruments is significantly lower than the usage of western instruments and is merely used in Korean historical movies as embedded music. This supports the many views that Korean traditional music seems too difficult to appeal to the general audience in these modern times. Furthermore, there aren't any such cases to apply traditional music techniques to western instruments whereas there have been many occasions where traditional music instruments imitate western instruments with its tones. The suspected reason for this is due to the lack of proper understanding and techniques of traditional music that Korean film composers have utilized, and its limited exposure in popular music. However, traditions are special and unique way to represent the history, culture, lifestyle and characteristic of countries. Therefore, it is our duty to protect our own traditions. As both a Korean, and as a musician, new film music is needed which uses traditional music instruments and its techniques. When film composers create music with better understanding of Korean traditional music, this unique music will be able to transcend borders and spread throughout the world.

In this paper, the tone of Daegeum, one of the most representative wind instruments of our country, was analyzed. Daegeum is widely used as Jeongak Daegeum and Sanjo Daegeum, which are played in royal and wind music, and Sanjo Daegeum is mainly played in Sanjo, Sinawi and folk music. The reason why the two pieces of music are being played in different music genres is due to the improvement of the length of the pipe and the location of the finger holes, allowing the Sanjo Daegeum to perform faster than Jeongak Daegeum, apply various techniques, and make the choice of musical instruments harmonized with music by making the difference in tone. For timber analysis of Jeongak Daegeum and Sanjo Daegeum, the composition of the overtones was visually verified through Spectrogram and Spectrum Analizer, in which the results of recordings were recorded by playing octave low, flat, and octave high positions with the same power. From this, Jeongak Daegeum, which is rich in low-pitched sound, harmonizes with solemn music such as royal music, and Sanjo Daegeum, which has a relatively clear high-pitched sound, is well suited to bright music such as solo music.

This paper researches the relationship between Youtube K-pop music video views and visual characteristics. K-pop music video, which is the subject of study has intrigued the world since 'Gangnam Style' became Youtube's most viewed video in 2012. This paper questions the existence of element that are related to music video views which is not externally visible and the availability of the discovering the specific element. Previous studies had difficulty in searching the inherent elements of the music video associated with views because they chose a research method that compares music videos based on one or two pieces of work and had a biased result. Therefore, this paper goals to divide nine music videos according to the number of views in three groups and analyze their visual characteristics to find out the differences between the groups and their each features. This paper will contribute to the development of music video field in Youtube market where the number of views is getting more important recently.
