Among the fishing vessels operating in the coastal waters, jigging fishing vessels were considered representative vessels engaged only by wind, sea, tide, and external force. Then, a fishing vessel with a length of shorter than 10 m from July 1, 2018 to August 5, 2019 was studied to obtain a drift prediction model by multiple regression analysis. In the correlation analysis between variables for leeway of speed and direction, the speed and direction of tidal seem to be the most affected in coastal waters. Therefore, it should be considered an explanatory variable when conducting drift tests. As a result of multiple regression analysis on the predicted equations of leeway speed and direction due to the external force on the drift of the fishing vessel, p < 0.000 was considered significant in the F-test, but the coefficient of determination was 55.2% and 37.8%. The effect on the predicted leeway speed was in the order of the tidal speed and current speed. In addition, the impact on the predicted leeway direction was in the order of the tidal speed and current speed. ŷ(m/s) = - 0.0011(x1) + 0.9206(x2) + 0.0001(x3) + 0.0002(x4) + 0.0050(x5) + 0.0529(x6) + 0.2457 ŷ(degree) = 0.6672(x1) + 93.1699(x2) + 0.0585(x3) - 0.0244(x4) - 1.2217(x5) + 4.6378(x6) - 0.0837
The oceanic effect on the coastal climate, the air temperature and the humidity, in Korea was studied by using the meteorological and the sea surface temperature data compiled from 1962 to 1981. The fluctuation of sea surface temperature plays an important role in determining the air temperature and the humidity in the coastal area, The sea surface temperature is higher than the air temperature from September to March in the western coastal area, and from September to April in the southern and the eastern coastal areas, It is found that in March the air temperature begins to surpass the sea ourface temperature in the western coastal area, and in April in the southern and the eastern coastal areas. On the basis of the multiple regression analysis it is found that the oceanic effect on the coastal climate, the air temperature and the humidity, in the western coastal area is different that in the southern and the eastern coastal areas.

We developed a seasoning sauce using hot water extracts from anchovy Engraulis japonica fish sauce processing by-products. A temperature of 121℃ was maintained for 120 min and the resulting amino acid content, salinity, and pH were 183.6 mg/100 g, 6.86, and 17.4 g/100 g, respectively. Radish juice, sea tangle Saccharina japonica extract, and mushroom Lentinula edodes were added to improve the flavor. The glutamic acid content of the extract mixed with 10% sea tangle extract was 88.87 mg/100 g and the 5'-GMP (guanine 5'-monophosphate) content of the extract mixed with 10% mushroom extract was 9.67 mg/ g. This study was conducted to determine optimal processing conditions for seasoned products using response surface methodology (RSM). The optimal conditions for X1 (sea tangle extract concentration) and X2 (mushroom extract concentration) were 15.0% and 5.0%, respectively, and the predicted values of the multiple response optimal conditions were Y1 (5'-GMP: 17.36 mg/100 g) and Y2 (glutamic acid: 157.35 mg/100 g). Under the optimal conditions, the experimental values of Y1 and Y2 were 17.32 mg/g and 155.36 mg/100 g, respectively, which are similar to the predicted values. We confirmed the feasibility of developing a seasoning sauce using hot water extract from anchovy fish sauce processing by-products and additives.
Three-hundred and sixteen Escherichia coli strains from seawater, and a variety of farmed fishes, including oliver flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus), black rock fish (Sebastes schlegeli), red sea bream (Pagrus major) and sea bass (Lateolabrax japonicus) between May to October in 2004, were tested by agar dilution method to determine their susceptibility patterns to 17 antimicrobial agents. Overall, 92.1% of Escherichia coli isolates from samples showed antimicrobial resistance to at least one antimicrobial agent and the multiple resistance was seen in 173 isolates (54.7%). The resistance of E. coli isolates to tetracycline (74.1%) was highest, followed by cephalothin (69.9%), doxycycline (66.5%), streptomycin (47.2%), ampicillin (46.2%), cefazolin (31.6%), enrofloxacin (31.0%). norfloxacin (28.2%). The most frequent resistance pattern was TE-D-CF-CIP-ENO-NOR-AM-S-C-SXT-AmC-CZ (14.7%), followed by CF (6.2%), TE (5.1%), TE-CF (4.5%) in 177 isolates from fishes and TE-D-CF (7.2%) followed by TE-D-CF-S (5.8%), CF and TE-D-S (3.6%) in 139 isolates from seawater.

Marine casualties originated from fishing vessels occupied about 71.2% of the whole marine casualties in Korea from 2008 to 2014, which has not changed much for a long time. Therefore, a pragmatic counterplan to decrease in casualties in fishing vessel is indispensable for reduction of marine casualties in Korea. Since the casualties occurred by fishing vessels may incline to a specific type of casualties according to the difference in the operating type; in this paper, 11 fishing types which occurred casualties frequently in numbers and occupied ratio were selected. Since the most frequent occurring casualties in fishing vessels were from collisions and fire explosion in statistics from KMST (2008~2014), the study focused on them. The collision is given a great deal of weight in all the casualties mostly due to the negligence of duty regardless of the job types. Gill netter, trap fishing boat, jig boat, multiple fishing boat and stow netter have their own specific causes of casualties in collision according to the operating types. The cause of fire explosion was mainly due to poor inspection and maintenance the electric cord. For this reason, it may be necessary for an operator to make strict precaution on the other vessels under way systematically, keep the regulation for preventing collisions, and for an engineer on watch to make a check the electricity periodically to reduce the fire explosion.

Today, all the countries of the world newly recognize importance of sea, which are focused on efforts for security of marine territory and fishes resources. Many of the coastal state, to strengthen the rights of their own country EEZ, marine survey and continental shelf development, travels through such maritime jurisdiction in the territorial sovereignty and the EEZ overlaps, deepening complex interests between neighboring countries cooperation activities of the fierce competition, the domestic and foreign been has been carried out. Under such circumstances, is devastated coastal of China, our territorial waters and EEZ has been violated more and more, in spite of the powerful crackdown maritime public power, illegal fishing more resistance intensified. They tend to be gradually organization, collectivization and atrocities. Currently, illegal fishing of Chinese fishing boats in the West Sea of Korea, including the waters near Yeonpyeong Island is prevalent as operating in the coast of the country. Furthermore regrettable one is illegal on a scale and the situation where South Korea of scale of damage caused by it have not been accurately grasp of the operation, but that there is damage of Korea official duty enforcement to crack down the increase to illegal operations year after year have occurred. Violent, illegal fishing of Chinese fishing boats, in order to eradicate the operations of insane at our sea, we investigated to the infringement situations of fisheries resources by multiple fields. each of problems presenting a specific preservation plan in accordance with the function and role of the maritime enforcement organization and other government organization the point. at the same time we will try to seek measures such as a scheme that it is possible to increase the capacity.
Coral reef fisheries are prominent for the archipelagic countries' food sufficiency and security. Studies showed that fish abundance and biomass are affected by biophysical variables. The present study determines which biophysical variables are important predictors of fish diversity, abundance, and biomass. The study used available monitoring data from the Indonesian Research Center for Oceanography, the National Board for Research and Innovation. Data were collected from 245 transects in 19 locations distributed across the Indonesian Archipelago, including the eastern Indian Ocean, Sunda Shelf (Karimata Sea), Wallacea (Flores and Banda Seas), and the western Pacific Ocean. Principal component analysis and multiple regression model were administered to 13 biophysical metrics against 11 variables of coral reef fishes, i.e., diversity, abundance, and biomass of coral reef fishes at three trophic levels. The results showed for the first time that the covers of other fauna, coral rubbles, and soft corals were the three most important predictor variables for nearly all coral reef fish variables. Other fauna cover was the important predictor for all 11 coral reef fish variables. Coral rubble cover was the predictor for ten variables, but carnivore fish abundance. Soft coral cover was a good predictor for corallivore, carnivore, and targeted fishes. Despite important predictors for corallivore and carnivore fish variables, hard coral cover was not the critical predictor for herbivore fish variables. The other important predictor variables with a consistent pattern were dead coral covered with algae and rocks. Dead coral covered with algae was an important predictor for herbivore fishes, while the rock was good for only carnivore fishes.

CD96 is a membrane-bound receptor discovered in humans in 1992 that is mainly present in natural killer cells and T cells derived from haematopoietic cells and performs immune functions. Based on the sequence of CD96 obtained from red seabream (Pagrus major), phylogenetic analysis with other species, infections of normal fish, Streptococcus iniae and red sea bream iridovirus (RSIV), and expression analysis was conducted using real-time polymerase chain reaction. Phylogenetic analysis showed the highest homology with Sparus aurata, and multiple sequence analysis confirmed the conservation of major domains between different fish species. Normal fish high expression results were confirmed in the head kidney, and spleen, which are the haematopoietic organs of the fish. High expression levels were confirmed in the gills, liver, spleen, and kidney on day three after RSIV infection. After S. iniae infection, high expression was confirmed in the gills and liver on day one, and high expression was confirmed in the spleen from 12 hours. These results show that PmCD96 functions as an immune gene in P. major and is considered a basic research case for CD96 in fish's hematopoietic organ immune system.

This study is aimed at researching on psychopathological characteristics of agriculture-specialized college students, in a specific educational environment, consulting some students who show maladjusted characteristics, verifying its effects and providing basic data for college life instructions. The complete survey MMPI was conducted for 676 freshmen and juniors attending K agriculture-specialized college located in Jeollabuk-do. To analyze the results, basic statistics, bivariate correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were implemented. The results of this study are as follows; First, the level of overall clinical scale was lower than 50 points, standard point, and freshmen showed higher depression (D), hysteria (Hy) and psychasthenia (Pt) in general. Such results are different from the other study results. It is considered an anxiety in early stage, resulted from a living in a dormitory. For the juniors who came back from one-year practice, anxiety about employment seems little because they are already employed. Second, The effects of personal consultation for maladjusted students were proved (p<.01). The students who got consultation showed improvement effect from 'very bad condition' to 'considerable depression', which is low score. This study has a meaning in preventing from any accident, by screening maladjusted students who are supposed to learn in a specific situation, by relieving their symptoms through consultation and letting them concentrate on learning.
We investigated the fecundity, egg size, reproductive output, and breeding frequency and season of Neocaridina denticulata denticulata and Latreutes planirostris which inhabit extremely different habitats. The marine shrimp Latreutes planirostris produced more eggs had at a given carapace length than the freshwater shrimp N. d. denticulata. However, N. d. denticulata had a larger egg volume and greater reproductive output than L. planirostris. The monthly gonadosomatic index (GSI) of the freshwater shrimp began to increase in April and reached a maximum in May, suggesting a single breeding period. In contrast, the GSI of the marine shrimp exhibited two breeding peaks: May-June and September. In both shrimps, the regressions between carapace length and ovarian weight were significant at the non-eyed and eyed embryo stages. For both species, an analysis of covariance revealed significant difference between the two regressions in elevation, but not in slope. These results indicate the potential for multiple ovulations within the reproductive season.
