Shoes Purchasing Behavior and Wearing Satisfaction Related with Lifestyle of High School Girls (여고생의 라이프스타일에 따른 신발 구매 행동과 착용만족도)

  • Teenagers are considered as one of important consumer groups by marketers because of their high purchasing power and impulsive purchasing propensity. Especially high school girls are most significant purchasing group of them. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of high school girls' lifestyle on shoes purchasing behavior and shoes wearing satisfaction. This study surveyed 428 high school girls in Seoul and Chonbuk area. Data were statistically analyzed using SAS 9.1.3 for Window. Major statistical methods are factor analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ coefficient, cluster analysis, frequency analysis, Chi-square test, multiple regression analysis, ANOVA and Duncan test. The shoes purchasing behavior is significantly different according to students' lifestyle. Activity-pursuing group's major shoes purchasing factor is practical use and fashion & scholar-pursuing group's major shoes purchasing factors are fashion and brand. Relationship between lifestyle and shoes purchasing pattern is as follows. Activity-pursuing group and fashion & scholar-pursuing group purchased shoes more frequently than family-pursuing group. Fashion & scholar-pursuing-group purchased shoes for the harmony of suit and shoes. As for wearing satisfaction, design is the primary factor and price was the least significant factor in sports shoes, while durability is the primary factor and material is the least significant factor for the casual shoes.

Convergence study of the in-flight meal quality on customer satisfaction, brand image and brand loyalty in airlines (항공사 기내식 서비스품질과 고객만족, 브랜드이미지, 브랜드충성도에 관한 융합연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of the convergence of the in-flight meal quality, the customer satisfaction, the brand image and brand loyalty. A total of 170 questionnaires were finally used for the 'analysis of factors, analysis of reliance, analysis of corelation and multiple regression analysis.' We found out that the in-flight meal quality came up with the food factor, service factor and cleanliness factor. The results of the study are as follows; First, only the food factor and the service factor positively affected the customer satisfaction. Second, the food factor and the service factor positively affected the brand image. Third, the customer satisfaction positively affected the brand image and the brand loyalty. Lastly, the brand image positively affected the brand loyalty. According to this study, the in-flight meal quality, customer satisfaction, brand image and brand lo oyalty in the airline service are very important factors for a successful marketing strategy.

이동형 의료영상 장치를 위한 JPEG2000 영상 뷰어 개발

  • 목적 : 현재, 많은 병원이 방사선과 의료영상정보를 기존의 필름형태로 판독하고, 진료하는 방식에서 PACS 를 도입하여 디지털 형태로 영상을 전송, 저장, 검색, 판독하는 환경으로 변화하고 있다. 한편, PACS 가 가지는 가장 큰 제한점은 휴대성의 결핍이다. 본 연구는 이동형 장치가 가지는 호스트의 이동성 및 휴대성의 장점들을 살리면서, 무선 채널 용량의 한계, 무선 링크 사용이라는 제약점들을 감안하여 의료영상을 JPEG2000 영상압축 방식으로 부호화한 후 무선 환경을 고려한 전송 패킷의 크기를 결정하고자 하였으며, 무선 통신 중 발생되는 패킷 손실에 대응하기 위한 자동 오류 수정 기능도 함께 구현하고자하였다. 방법 : Window 2000 운영체계에서 의료영상을 로드하고, 데이터베이스화하며, 저장하고, 다른 네트워크와 접속, 제어가 가능한 PC급 서버를 구축하였다. 영상데이터는 무선망을 통해 전송하기 때문에 가장 높은 압축비율을 지원하면서 에너지 밀도가 높은 JPEG2000 알고리즘을 사용하여 영상을 압축하였다. 또한, 무선망 사용으로 인한 패킷 손실에 대비하여, 영상을 JPEG2000 방식으로 부호화한 후 각 블록단위로 전송하였다. 결과 : PDA에서 JPEG2000 영상을 복호화 하는데 걸리는 시간은 256$\times$256 크기의 MR 뇌영상의 경우 바로 확인할 수 있었지만, 800$\times$790 크기의 CR 흉부 영상의 경우 약 5 초 정도의 시간이 걸렸다. CDMA 1X(Code Division Multiple Access 1st Generation) 모듈을 사용하여 영상을 전송하는 경우, 256 byte/see 정도에서는 안정된 전송 결과를 보여주었고, 1 Kbyte/see 정도의 전송의 경우 중간 중간에 패킷이 손실되는 결과를 관찰할 수 있었다. 반면 무선 랜의 경우 이보다 더 큰 패킷을 전송하더라도 문제점은 발견되지 않았다. 결론 : 현재의 PACS는 유선과 무선사이의 인터페이스의 부재로 인해 유무선 연동이 되지 못하고 있다. 따라서 이동형 JPEG2000 영상 뷰어는 PACS가 가지는 문제점인 휴대성을 보완하기 위하여 개발되었다. 또한 무선망이 가지는 데이터 손실에 대하여서도 허용할 수 있는 범위에서 재전송을 가능하게 함으로서 약한 연결성을 보완하였다. 본 JPEG2000 영상 뷰어 시스템은 기존 유선상의 PACS와 이동형 장치간에 유기적인 인터페이스 역할을 하리라 기대된다.

Pericardial Tamponade following Perihepatic Gauze Packing for Blunt Hepatic Injury (둔상성 간손상 환자의 손상 통제술 후 발생한 심낭압전)

  • The primary and secondary survey was designed to identify all of a patient's injuries and prioritize their management. However 15 to 22.3% of patient with missed injuries had clinically significant missed injuries. To reduce missed injury, special attention should be focused on patients with severe anatomical injury or obtunded. Victims of blunt trauma commonly had multiple system involvement. Some reports indicate that inexperience, breakdown of estalished protocol, clinical error, and restriction of imaging studies may be responsible for presence of missed injury. The best way of reducing clinical significant of missed injuries was repeated clinical assessment. Here we report a case of severe blunt hepatic injury patient and pericardial injury that was missed in primary and secondary survey. After damage control surgery of hepatic injury, she remained hemodynamically unstable. Further investigation found cardiac tamponade during intensive care. This was managed by pericardial window operation through previous abdominal incision and abdominal wound closure was performed.

A Study on Design and Fabricate of a Intermediate Frequency Band SAW Filter (IF 대역 SAW 필터 설계 및 제작)

  • We have studied a method to design and fabricate the Intermediate Frequency(IF) band pass filter with low shape factor which is used for CDMA base station on the 35°Y-cut X-propagation Quartz substrate. In order to fabricate a device of the low shape factor for the IF SAW filter on this substrate, we employed apodization weighted type interdigital transducer(IDT) as an input and withdrawal weighted type IDT as an output by using impulse modelling method. Also, using the Kaiser-Bessel window function, we have adopted 2200pairs and 1000pairs of input and oueut IDT respectively to minimize the effect of ripple. Furthermore, the width and the space of IDT finger are 3.6 ㎛ and 3.5 ㎛ respectively. Thus, we can have optimal results when the IDT thickness is 6000Å in consideration of the ratio of SAW's wavelength while it's aperture is 2mm for impedance matching. The fabricated SAW filter for CDMA had the property of almost 115.2MHz of a center frequency, less then 1.27MHz of bandwidth, less than 1.3 of shape factor, - l5dB of out band attenuation insertion loss and -45dB of rejection band.

  • With the increasing importance of network protection from cyber threats, it is requested to develop a multi-gigabit rate pattern matching method for protecting against malicious attacks in high-speed network. This paper devises a high-speed pattern matching algorithm with TCAM by using an m-byte jumping window pattern matching scheme. The proposed algorithm significantly reduces the number of TCAM lookups per payload by m times with the marginally enlarged TCAM size which can be implemented by cascading multiple TCAMs. Due to the reduced number of TCAM lookups, we can easily achieve multi-gigabit rate for scanning the packet payload. It is shown by simulation that for the Snort nile with 2,247 patterns, our proposed algorithm supports more than 10 Gbps rate with a 9Mbit TCAM.

Discrimination of Local Microearthquakes and Artificial Underground Explosions on the Basis of Time-Frequency Domain (시간-주파수 영역에서의 국지 미소지진과 지하인공폭발의 구별)

  • In this study, our purpose is to develop a technique to discriminate artificial explosions from local microearthquakes on the basis of time-frequency domain. To obtain spectral features of artificial explosions and microearthquakes, we used 3-d spectrograms(frequency, time and amplitude) because this is a useful tool to study the frequency content of entire seismic waveforms observed at local and regional distances (e. g., Kim et al., 1994). P and S waves from quarry blasts show that frequency content of dominant amplitude appeared above 10 Hz and Rg phases that are observed at near distance ranges. But P and S waves from microearthquakes have more broad frequency content as well as below 10 Hz. And for discrimination, Pg/Lg spectral ratio is performed below 10 Hz. In order to select time windows we computed group velocity using multiple filter method(MFM) and removed free surface effects from all 3-components data for improving on data quality. Next step, we computed Fast-Fourier transform, and a log average spectral amplitude over seven frequency bands : 0.5 to 3, 2 to 4, 3 to 5, 4 to 6, 5 to 7, 6 to 8 and 8 to 10 Hz. The best separation is observed from 6 to 8 Hz.

Multipath TCP performance improvement using AQM in heterogeneous networks with bufferbloat (버퍼블로트를 가지는 이종 망에서 AQM을 이용한 Multipath TCP 성능 개선)

  • Multipath TCP (MPTCP) is a transport layer protocol that simultaneously transmits data using multiple interfaces. MPTCP is superior to existing TCP in network environment with homogeneous subflows, but it shows worse performance compared to existing TCP in network environment with bufferbloat. If a bufferbloat occurs in one of the MPTCP multipaths, the packet will not arrive at the MPTCP receive buffer due to a sudden increase in delay time, resulting in a HoL blocking phenomenon. It makes the receive window of the other path to be zero. In this paper, we apply Adaptive Random Early Detection (ARED), Controlled Delay (CoDel) and Proportional Integral Controller Enhanced (PIE) among the proposed Active Queue Management (AQM) to limit the delay of bufferbloat path. Experiments were conducted to improve the performance of MPTCP in heterogeneous networks. In order to carry out the experiment, we constructed a Linux-based testbed and compared the MPTCP performance with that of the existing droptail.

  • The purpose of this article is to offer a guideline for residence planning for Koreans living in the United States. To achieve the goal, this article examines the Korean family's satisfaction rates of interior design and living conditions of houses in American cities, with a case study of families in Columbia, MO. A total of 105 valid samples(126 collected) out of 200 survey questionnaires distributed was acquired and processed with the statistical-aid software SPSS PC+ window version 14.0. The survey was analyzed using frequency, percentages, means, standard deviations, and multiple response analysis. The results are as follow: 1) Most of the Koreans preferred interior design and environment similar to their previous Korean residences. 2) Participants were not satisfied with partial/indirect lightings typical in the United States and desired more bright illuminating lights. 3) Participants kept their habit of taking off shoes indoors while living in the United States, therefore when designing a house for Koreans living in the U.S., designers should take this into account when designing for Korean residents. 4) Among the American interior elements, storage such as walk-in closets and bathroom cabinets were highly demanded by Koreans, thus possibly to be adopted to Korean houses. Researchers expect the results of this study would contribute to supplying comfortable and convenient living environments to those Koreans living in the United States.

Mean Response Delay Estimation for HTTP over SCTP in Wireless Internet (무선 인터넷 환경에서 HTTP over SCTP의 평군 응답 시간 추정)

  • Hyper text transfer protocol (HTTP) over transmission control protocol (TCP) is currently used to transfer objects in the Internet. Stream control transmission protocol (SCTP), an alternative to TCP, which allows for independent delivery among streams, and can thus reduce the mean response delay of web object. We present an analytical model to find the mean response delay for HTTP over SCTP, therefore, estimate the effectiveness of SCTP over TCP. Typical TCP delay models assume the wired environment. On the contrary, the proposed model in this paper assumes the multiple packet losses and wireless environment where fast retransmission is not possible due to small window. The estimated mean response time can be used the benchmark to meet quality of service (QoS) at end-user. We validate the accuracy of our model using experiments. It is shown that the differences between the results from model and those from experimental are very small below 6 % on average. We also find that the mean response delay for HTTP over SCTP is less than that for HTTP over TCP.
