  • 신규 무선 네트워크 기술의 발전은 현재의 단일 네트워크 위주의 구성을 가진 무선 서비스 사업자에 새로운 다중 네트워크 (Heterogeneous Network) 환경을 맞이하게 하였다. 또한 무선 통신 사용자 수는 계속적인 증가추세에 있고 사용자들이 원하는 서비스의 종류 또한 계속적으로 다양해지고 있으며 사용자가 기대하는 서비스의 질과 수준 역시 높아지고 있다. 이에 무선 서비스 사업자들은 사용자들의 높아진 서비스 품질을 만족시키고 새로운 형태의 서비스를 안정적으로 공급하며, 현재의 네트워크와 신규 네트워크의 조화로운 운용을 위해 새로운 형태의 운용 구조 (Operation Framework)를 필요로 한다. 본 논문에서는 네트워크간의 비용/효용에 대한 한계 비용 (Marginal Cost) 산정 기법을 도입하여 서비스에 따른 최적 네트워크 운용 기법에 대해 논술한다.

  • 영화정보 프로그램은 신뢰를 바탕으로 영화의 간접적 경험을 제공함으로써 시청자의 영화관람 의사에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 이와 같은 영화정보 프로그램의 효용성을 극대화하기 위해 영화정보 프로그램에 소개되는 영화의 부가정보를 제공하는 데이터서비스가 연구되었는데, 데이터서비스가 하나의 영화정보 프로그램에 한정되는 한계로 인해 여러 개의 영화정보 프로그램을 송출하는 종합유선방송사나 위성방송사의 현실적 환경에 적용하기에 어려움이 있다. 이에 본 연구는 하나의 영화정보 프로그램에 한정된 기존 연구를 여러 개의 영화정보 프로그램의 부가정보를 제공할 수 있도록 확장하였다. 구체적으로, 방송사가 송출하는 여러 영화정보 프로그램들의 개수와 섹션 구성 정보, 섹션별 부가정보를 정의하고, 이 정보를 영화정보 프로그램들의 방송 시간대가 서로 다르다는 성질을 반영하여 증대된 데이터를 효율적으로 처리할 수 있는 DVB-SI 기반 부가정보 전송 방법을 설계하였다. 본 연구는, 현실적으로 여러 개의 영화정보 프로그램을 송출하는 방송사 환경에서 운영될 수 있는 데이터서비스의 가능성을 제시한다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

3자간게임모형에 의한 3G 이동통신단말기의 치적유통전략 (An Optimal Strategy of 3G Mobile Handset Distribution by 3-Person Game)

  • The USIM(universal subscriber identity module)-unlock introducing in July 1, 2008 might be led to a significant change that mobile service provider's dominance is considerably dispersed to the handset manufacturer and distributor. Under USIM-unlock environment, mobile service provider, handset manufacturer, and distributor have to make their decisions on their handset distribution channel strategies: the closed distribution channel strategy or the open distribution channel strategy. The change of distribution channel strategy between members in distribution channel can be understood as a matter of strategy choice, and we have developed a theoretical model and analyzed how to make a decision for the member's optimal distribution strategy based on 3-person game model between members of mobile phone distribution channel, under both of '1 subscriber-1 handset' and '1 subscriber-multiple handset' assumptions. Under '1 subscriber-1 handset' assumption, the closed strategy controlled by mobile service provider is all players' optimal solution because the maximum size of the mobile phone market is limited by subscribers. But, as total expected profit by the handset and distribution subsides is a deficit, mobile service provider have to choose the open strategy and consider the conversion to MNO(mobile network operator). Under '1 subscriber-multiple handset' assumption, mobile service provider is trying to find the way how to lock-in its service and mobile phone and how to maximize ARPU(average revenue per unit), while handset manufacturer and distributor have to look for the way how to maximize the mobile phone market using their own marketing efforts, because it is expected that total mobile handset demand for the open market is bigger than demand for the closed market under '1 subscriber-multiple handset' assumption.

지능적 상황인지 미들웨어의 개발 (A Development of Intelligent Context-Awareness Middleware)

  • Context-Awareness system provides an appropriate service to user by recognizing situation from surrounding environment. There are many successful studies on this framework, but still has some limitations. In this paper, we are describing a context-awareness middleware that can enhance the limitation of the previous approaches. We first defined a new concept of context-awareness environment as a social intelligence. This concept implies that intelligent objects can make relationships, can aware of situation from surrounding environment, and can collaborate to accomplish a given task. The significance of the study is as follows. First, the system is capable of multi context-awareness since it is designed with a structure that supports multiple lines of reasoning. Second, the system is capable of context planning by adapting AI planning mechanism. Third, the system is capable of making the intelligent objects as a group for collaboration, and provides adaptive service to user. We have developed a prototype of the system and tested with a virtual scenario.

종합병원 간호사의 부서별 사회심리적 업무환경이 직무만족에 미치는 영향 (Impacts of Psychosocial Work Environment on Nurses' Job Satisfaction Based on the Type of Hospital Departments)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to compare the characteristics of nursing work environments based on department type and to investigate the relationship between work environment and job satisfaction. Methods : The participants were 420 nurses from the ward, emergency room, intensive care unit, and operation room. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, and multiple regression test using the SPSS Win. 18.0 program. Results : The results were as follows: There was a significant difference in possibilities for development, meaning of work, recognition(reward), role clarity, and social community at work based on department type. The factors that influenced job satisfaction were influence, meaning of work, recognition(reward), role conflicts, and quality of leadership and these differed based on department type. Conclusions : The results of this study indicate that nursing work environments vary based on the type of hospital department. Therefore, it is necessary to develop diverse strategies for human resource management considering the type of department.

  • This paper presents an approach to determine the vehicle fleet size for container shuttle service in a stochastic working environment. The shuttle service can be defined as the repetitive travel between the designated places during working period. The initial number of vehicles is temporarily calculated using the transportation model. Simulation is carried out in order to investigate dynamic behavior of container shuttle. Finally, the equation for estimating the vehicle fleet size is obtained through the multiple regression model based on simulation results.

  • In this paper, I develop a simple dynamic resource allocation algorithm that reduces the call blocking rate by improving the resource utilization of the WCDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) systems under multimedia service environment. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm significantly reduces the blocking rate of high speed multimedia calls. The algorithm developed in this paper is currently working in the commercial WCDMA IMT-2000 system.

초등학교 영양사의 직무만족도와 급식품질의 관계 (Dietitian's Job Satisfaction and Perception of Foodservice Quality in Elementary Schools)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between the levels of job satisfaction and self-evaluated foodservice quality of dietitians in elementary schools. Out of 130 questionnaires distributed to the elementary school dietitians in In-cheon, 127 were returned and analyzed (98% response rate). The questionnaire included two multiple-item scales for measuring job satisfaction and foodservice quality, respectively. All the items in the scales were coded 1 to 5 for certainly no, no, neutral, yes, and certainly yes and grouped by using factor analyses. Most of the responding dietitians were working for schools in urban areas and had independently-managed on-site kitchens. The 23 items measuring job satisfaction were grouped into 4 factors: Job Duty, Job Condition, Physical Work Environment, and Organizational Environment. The satisfaction score was the highest for Organizational Environment with a value of 3.38 and the least for Physical Work Environment with a value of 2.08. The 22 items measuring foodservice quality were grouped into 5 factors and the mean scores of the levels of Cleanliness, Internal Food quality, External Food quality, Intangible Service Environment and Tangible Service Environment were 4.20, 3.89, 3.54, 3.45 and 2.64, respectively. The levels of job satisfaction and foodservice quality were positively associated with a correlation coefficient of 0.288 (p < 0.01). In particular, the level of job satisfaction was positively associated with foodservice quality in the aspect of Cleanliness, Internal Food Quality, and Intangible Service Environment. The results show that improving dietitians' job satisfaction could contribute to increasing the levels of foodseivice quality of elementary schools.

치과위생사의 근무환경과 긍정심리자본이 직무착근도에 미치는 영향 (The effect of work environment and positive psychological capital on job embeddedness in dental hygienists)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the association between work environment and positive psychological capital on job embeddedness in dental hygienists. Methods: Data were collected from 263 dental hygienists in the dental institutions. It was then assessed by mean of descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and a stepwise multiple regression analysis. Results: The impact of work environment was 3.35±0.46 points, positive psychological capital was 3.30±0.40 points, and job embeddedness was 3.34±0.47 points. The result of the stepwise multiple regression analysis indicated that work environment, positive psychological capital and clinical career predicted 45.7% (F=7.35, p<0.001) of job embeddedness. Conclusions: Therefore, it is necessary to improve working environment and to strengthen positive psychological capital in order to increase the degree of work commitment in dental hygienists, and to encourage long-term service.

스마트스크린 서비스를 위한 이기종네트워크 환경의 멀티전송 기술 제안 (A Proposal on Multi-transmission Mechanism of the Heterogeneous Network Environment for SMART Screen Services)

  • 본 논문은 유무선융합망에서 스마트스크린 서비스를 효과적으로 제공하기 위하여 이기종 네트워크 환경의 멀티전송기법을 제시하였다. 유무선 융합 이종망 환경에서 다수 협업 장치간에 스마트 스크린 핸드오버 알고리즘과, AV 스트리밍과 파일의 스마트 스크린 서비스를 제공하는 NAS 장치와 서비스 관리 및 운영 시스템을 연구함으로써 이종망간 심리스 스마트 스크린 협업 서비스 호처리 엔진 및 이동성 관리, 멀티 사용자/멀티 스트림 지원하는 AV 스트리밍전송 서비스, 스마트 스크린 협업 서비스 등의 타당성을 제안하였다.
