다중채널 LMS 알고리즘을 이용한 능동방음벽 구현 (Implementation of Active Noise Barriers Using Multiple Channel LMS Algorithms)

  • 본 논문에서는 외부에 위치하는 소음원에 의하여, 창문 등과 같이 부분적인 개구부를 가지는 실내 공간에 소음이 전파될 때, 적응필터를 이용하여 이를 제어하는 능동 방음벽을 구현하였다. 적응필터의 수렴성을 증가시키기 위하여 다중채널 leaky LMS 알고리즘을 사용하였으며 창문 등의 개구부를 통하여 들어오는 소음을 제거하기 위하여 새로운 형태의 능동방음벽을 제안하였다. 기존의 ANC 기법을 이용한 기법과 제안한 기법을 TMS320C33 DSP를 이용한 실험을 통해 비교 분석하였다. 오차 마이크로폰의 위치에서는 ANB가 다소 좋은 결과를 얻었으나 두 경우 모두 비교적 좋은 결과를 얻을 수 있었지만, 전체 위치에서 소음의 감쇄를 소음계를 이용해 측정한 결과 ANB가 훨씬 좋은 결과를 보였다. ANC의 경우 보일러 소음의 경우는 평균적으로 차이가 거의 없었으며 위치에 따라서는 증가하는 곳도 있었으나, ANB의 경우는 단일 소음 및 보일러 소음 모두 증가하는 곳은 한 곳도 없었으며 평균적으로도 ANC의 경우보다 훨씬 좋은 결과를 보였다.

  • This study is a trial to make a design chart of sound insulation for multiple panel. Dilatational frequency, ${\Large f}_d$ becomes a key factor for optimal design since it acts like a turning point in sound insulation performance of such panels. Hence, in tuning the ${\Large f}_d$ optimally, elastic modulus of core material and thickness of the skin panel is designated to parameters. Based on these parameter, a design chart of sound insulation for multiple panel is made. Its applicability is proved by the case study of High noise reduction panel.

웨이블렛 변환과 MUSIC 기법을 이용한 소음원 추적 (Noise Source Localization by Applying MUSIC with Wavelet Transformation)

  • In inverse acoustic problem with nearfield sources, it is important to separate multiple acoustic sources and to measure the position of each target. This paper proposes a new algorithm by applying MUSIC(Multiple Signal Classification) to the outputs of discrete wavelet transformation with sub-band selection based on the entropy threshold, Some numerical experiments show that the proposed method can estimate the more precise positions than a conventional MUSIC algorithm under moderately correlated signal and relatively low signal-to-noise ratio case.

  • In this paper, we propose a packet loss concealment (PLC) algorithm for CELP speech coders, which is based on multiple adaptive codebooks by using comfort noise for the lost packet recovery. The multiple adaptive codebooks are composed of a conventional adaptive codebook to model periodic excitation of speech and another adaptive codebook to provide a better estimate of excitation when packets are lost in the speech onset region. The performance of the proposed PLC algorithm is evaluated by implementing it into the G.729 decoder and compared with that of the PLC algorithm employed in the G.729 decoder by means of perceptual evaluation of speech quality (PESQ). It is shown from the experiments under different burstiness of packet loss rates of 3% and 5% that the proposed PLC algorithm provides higher PESQ scores than the G.729 PLC algorithm.

A Noise-Reduced Risk Aversion Index

  • We propose a noise reduced risk aversion index for measuring risk aversion through a laboratory experiment to overcome disadvantages of the multiple pricing list format developed by Holt and Laury (2002). We use randomized multiple list choices with coarser classification and reward weighting, supplement the rank of risk aversion with extra individual characteristics of risk attitude, and construct an index of risk aversion by standardizing the risk aversion ranking with quantile normalization. Our method reduces multiple switching problems that noisy decision makers mistakenly commit in experimental approaches, so that it is free of the framing effect which severely occurred in the HL. Furthermore, the index doesn't utilize any specific utility function or probability weighting, which allows researcher to hold the independence axiom. Since our noise reduced index of risk aversion has many good traits, it is widely used and applied to reveal fundamental characteristics of risk-related behaviors in economics and finance regardless of experimental environment.

  • 광가입자망은 가입자 데이터의 트래픽이 증가하면서 점차 필요성이 증가하고 있으며, CDMA-PON 시스템은 이러한 광가입자망을 효과적으로 구현하기 위해 제안되었다. CDMA-PON은 여러 가입자를 수용할 수 있으며 SCM방식과 달리 Optical beat noise에 의한 영향을 적게 받는다. 본 연구에서는 여러 가입자의 Optical beat noise를 분석하고, CDMA-PON의 상하향 변조방법과 수신방법을 제시하고 시뮬레이션 하였으며, 여러 가입자를 위한 송수신 모듈을 제작하여 실험한 결과를 제시하였다.

  • Speed-up and mass reduction of EMU(Electrical multiple unit) causes increase of interior noise. One of the best ways to reduce the interior noise is to identify noise sources. In this study, we evaluated interior noise by contribution analysis. This method is to predict the interior noise contribution of carbody by using transfer function between acceleration and sound pressure. The plan of the interior noise reduction based on the test results was also presented.

  • This paper presents the novel work for source localization of serial multiple impacts in a plate sructure. It is difficult to identify the source of serial multiple impacts with the current source localization techenology(SLT) because of the overlapping of dispersive wave induced by multiple impacts and the reflaction from the edge of the plate. In this paper, the new method is suggested for source localization. The method is developed based on the SLT with pre-signal processing such as some limitation for the selection of three sensors, the frequency range for TFA and impact time interval. Results from numerical simulation and experiment in isotropic plate structure are presented, which show the capability of the proposed method.

잡음 환경하에서의 다 모델 기반인식기와 다 스타일 학습방법과의 성능비교 (Performance Comparison of Multiple-Model Speech Recognizer with Multi-Style Training Method Under Noisy Environments)

  • Multiple-model speech recognizer has been shown to be quite successful in noisy speech recognition. However, its performance has usually been tested using the general speech front-ends which do not incorporate any noise adaptive algorithms. For the accurate evaluation of the effectiveness of the multiple-model frame in noisy speech recognition, we used the state-of-the-art front-ends and compared its performance with the well-known multi-style training method. In addition, we improved the multiple-model speech recognizer by employing N-best reference HMMs for interpolation and using multiple SNR levels for training each of the reference HMM.

진동 동력 흐름 예측 기법을 이용한 소음 전달 경로 해석 및 차량의 실내소음저감에 관한 연구 (A Study on Noise Transfer Path Analysi for Sound Improvement of Vehicle Using the Vibrational Power Flow)

  • Reduction of structure-borne noise of the compartment in a car is an important task in automotive engineering. Transfer path analysis using vibroacoustic reciprocity technique or multiple path decomposition method has generally been used for structure-borne noise path analysis. These methods are useful in solving particular problem but do net quantify the effectiveness of vibration isolation of each isolator of a vehicle. To quantify the effectiveness of vibration isolation, the vibrational power flow has been used for a simple isolation system or a laboratory based isolation system. It is often difficult to apply the vibrational power flow technique to the complex isolation system like a car. In this paper, a simple equation is derived for calculation of the vibrational power flow of an isolation system with multiple isolators such as a car. It is successfully applied to not only quantifying the relative contributions of eighteen isolators but also reducing structure-borne noise of a passenger car. According to the results, the main contributor of eighteen isolators is the rear roll mount of an engine. The reduced structure-borne noise level is about 5dBA.
