In this paper, we studied the problem if the experiment number occurring in order to identify defect in scaffold. We need to change each of the 5 print factor to predict defect when printing disk type scaffold using FDM 3d printer. So then the number of scaffold print will be more than 100,000 times. This experiment number is difficult to perform in the field. In order to solve this problem, we have produced a prediction model based on machine learning multiple linear regression using print conditions and defect scaffold data for print conditions. The prediction model produced was verified through experiments. The verification confirmed that the error was less than 0.5 %. We have confirmed that satisfied within the target margin of error 5 %.
The degradation of wheel tread may result in serious hazards in the railway operation system. Therefore, timely wheel defect diagnosis of in-service trains to avoid tragic events is of particular importance. The focus of this study is to develop a novel wheel defect detection approach based on the relevance vector machine (RVM) which enables online detection of potentially defective wheels with trackside monitoring data acquired under different running-speed conditions. With the dynamic strain responses collected by a trackside monitoring system, the cumulative Fourier amplitudes (CFA) characterizing the effect of individual wheels are extracted to formulate multiple probabilistic regression models (MPRMs) in terms of multi-kernel RVM, which accommodate both variables of vibration frequency and running speed. Compared with the general single-kernel RVM-based model, the proposed multi-kernel MPRM approach bears better local and global representation ability and generalization performance, which are prerequisite for reliable wheel defect detection by means of data acquired under different running-speed conditions. After formulating the MPRMs, we adopt a Bayesian null hypothesis indicator for wheel defect identification and quantification, and the proposed method is demonstrated by utilizing real-world monitoring data acquired by an FBG-based trackside monitoring system deployed on a high-speed trial railway. The results testify the validity of the proposed method for wheel defect detection under different running-speed conditions.
The present study reports 41 cases of congenital and acquired heart diseases, who received open heart surgery under extracorporeal circulation [ECC] by Sarns Heart-Lung-Machine [HLM] at the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Hanyang University Hospital during the` period between July 1975 and February 1979. The priming of pump oxygenator was carried out by the hemodilution method using Hartman`s solution, whole blood, and fresh human plasma. The rate of hemodilution was in the average of 50.8 ml/kg. ECC was performed at the average perfusion flow rate of 85.0 ml/kg/min [2.43 L./ kg/2] and at moderate hypothermia. In the total cardiopulmonary bypass, arterial pressure ranged between 55 mmHg and 90 mmHg, but generally maintaining over 70 mmHg. Patient age ranged between 2 and 54 year old, in congenital heart diseases, between 2 and 28, in acquired heart diseases, between 17 and 54 Sex ratio of male to female was 20:21. The cases include a case of pulmonary valvular stenosis, 4 cases of atrial septal defect, 9 cases of ventricular septal defect, 9 cases of tetralogy of Fallot, 5 cases of pentalogy of Fallot, 3 cases of atypical multiple anomalies 7 cases of mitral stenosis or insufficiency, a case of myxoma in left atrium, and a case of ruptured aneurysm of Valsalva`s sinus. The surgical managements were 16 valvulotomy for pulmonary valvular stenosis, 2 Teflon patch graft closure and 5 simple suture closure of atrial septal defect, 16 Teflon patch graft closure and 5 simple suture closure of ventricular septal defect, 12 pericardial patch graft for infundibular stenosis of right ventricle, one anastomosis between left superior vena cava and right atrium, 2 open mitral commissurotomy, 5 mitral valve replacement using Starr-Edward`s ball valve, porcine xenograft by Hancock, by Carpentier-Edward, or Angell-Shiley, one removal of left atrial myxoma, and a repair of ruptured aneurysm of Valsalva`s sinus. Four [9.7%] out 41 cases expired postoperatively and the rest of 37 cases survived with satisfactory results. The causes of death were one coronary embolism in tetralogy of Fallot, 2 postoperative lower cardiac output in atypical multiple anomalies, and one right heart failure in large: ventricular septal defect with pulmonary hypertension.

Ultrasonic inspection of defects has been focused on the existence of defect in structural material and need has much time and expenses in inspecting all the coordinates (x, y) on material surface. Neural networks can have an application to coordinates (x, y) of defects by multi-point inspection method. Ultrasonic inspection modeling is optimized by neural networks Neural networks has trained training example of absolute and relative coordinate of defects, and defect pattern. This method can predict coordinates (x, y) of defects within engineering estimated mean error $\psi$.
The ideal scalp reconstruction involves closure of the defect with similar hair-bearing local tissue in a single step. Various reconstructions can be used including primary closure, secondary healing, skin grafts, local flaps, and microvascular tissue transfer. A 53-year-old female patient suffered glioblastoma, which had recurred for the second time. The neuro-surgeons performed radial debridement and an additional resection of the tumor, followed by reconstruction using a serratus anterior muscle flap with a split-thickness skin graft. Unfortunately, the flap became completely useless and a bilateral rotation flap was used to cover the defect. Two month later, seroma with infection was found due to recurrence of the tumor. Additional surgery was performed using multiple perforator based island flap. The patient was discharged two weeks after surgery without any complications, but two months later, the patient died. Radical surgical resection of tumor is the most important curative option, followed by functional and aesthetic reconstruction. We describe a patient with a highly malignant tumor that required multiple resections and subsequent reconstruction. Repeated recurrences of the tumor led to the failure of reconstruction and our strategy inevitably changed, from reconstruction to palliative treatment involving fast and stable wound closure for the patient's comfort.
Many references report that abnormal diastema except temporary diastema existing in mixed dentition period is caused by maxilary heavy labial frenum, malocclusion, progressive periodontal disease, and loss of posterior teeth. We can diagnose patient as diastema caused by periodontal disease, especially, in case of accompanying progressively destructed anterior maxillary alveolar bone defect, and interseptal bone defect. We report Multiple disciplinary approach for diastema associated with periodontal disease. Periodontal treatment(Guided Tissue -Regeneration, alveoloplasty, bone graft), or thodontic treatment (space closure, redistribution), and the final proshodontic restoration for retention were used.

The accelerated degradation phenomena in amorphous silicon thin film transistors due to both electrical stress and visible light illumination under the elevated temperature have been investigated systematically as a function of gate bias, light intensity, and stress time. It has been found that, in case of electrical stress, the thrshold voltage shifts of a-Si:H TFT's may be attributed to the defect creation process at the early stage, while the charge trapping phenomena may be dominant when the stressing periods exceed about 2 hours. It has been also observed that the degradation in the device characteristics of a-Si:H TFT's is accelerated due to multiple stress effects, where the defect creation mechanism may be more responsible for the degradation rather than the charge trapping mechanism.
The purpose of this study is to analysis effects of defect factors of combine header for cutting speed of combine header, feeding depth of straw, and cylinder speed of thresher. Measurement system for defect factors was consists of sensors to monitor the combine operation and I/O interface to convert the signals. Cutting speed of combine header, feeding depth of straw, cylinder speed of thresher were measured and analyzed. The data were collected from three paddy field during rice harvesting. The tests were conducted at different grounding speeds, lug troubles, and cutter condition. The one way ANOVA and the multiple comparison tests were performed. The results showed that the measured data were useful to monitor the defect factors of combine during harvesting. The faults conditions of grounding speeds, lug troubles, and cutter conditions affected cutting speeds, feeding depths and cylinder speeds of the combine. The data seem to be useful to analysis the faults conditions of combine header.

In this study, Real Coded Genetic Algorithm(RCGA) and Artificial Neural Network(ANN) are used for developing the defect diagnostics of the aircraft turbo-shaft engine. ANN accompanied with large amount data has a most serious problem to fall in the local minima. Because of this weak point, it becomes very difficult to obtain good convergence ratio and high accuracy. To solve this problem, GA based ANN has been suggested. GA is able to search the global minima better than ANN. GA based ANN has shown the RMS defect error of 5% less in single and dual defect cases.
Purpose: Patients with serious burns are prone to chondritis due to lack of soft tissue in the auricle, which can cause severe defects in the auricular morphology. In addition, skin damage occurs frequently in the vicinity of post-burn wounds, presenting difficulties in reconstruction surgery. An auricular reconstruction has functional and cosmetic significance. The aim of this study is to develop appropriate reconstruction methods for auricular defects. Methods: Thirty seven patients, who were treated for auricular defects from 2005 to 2009, were enrolled in this study. A local flap, multiple regional flaps and cartilage framework with or without a temporal fascial flap were applied in reconstruction surgery according to the location of the auricular defect. Results: The age of the subjects ranged from 11 to 56. Some subjects had defects that cover more than half of the helical rim with most exhibiting post-burn scars in the vicinity, for whom a multiple regional flap was used. A single use of a tubed flap was sufficient for subjects with defects that covered less than half of the helical rim. A regional flap was also used for reconstruction in subjects with defects covering both the helical rim and antehelix. Conclusion: Achieving satisfactory results from the skin flaps and skin grafts for post-burn auricular defects in both functional and cosmetic aspects is a difficult task. Therefore, selecting an appropriate surgical method through proper diagnosis of the auricular defect and the state of the available skin in the vicinity is essential.
