Fine structural characteristics of the cardiac muscle and its sarcomere organization in the black widow spider, Latrodectus mactans were examined using transmission electron microscopy. The arrangement of cardiac muscle fibers was quite similar to that of skeletal muscle fibers, but they branched off at the ends and formed multiple connections with adjacent cells. Each cell contained multiple myofibrils and an extensive dyadic sarcotubular system consisting of sarcoplasmic reticulum and T-tubules. Thin and thick myofilaments were highly organized in regular repetitive arrays and formed contractile sarcomeres. Each repeating band unit of the sarcomere had three apparent striations, but the H-zone and M-lines were not prominent. Myofilaments were arranged into distinct sarcomeres defined by adjacent Z-lines with relatively short lengths of $2.0{\mu}m$ to $3.3{\mu}m$. Cross sections of the A-band showed hexagon-like arrangement of thick filaments, but the orbit of thin filaments around each thick filament was different from that seen in other vertebrates. Although each thick filament was surrounded by 12 thin filaments, the filament ratio of thin and thick myofilaments varied from 3:1 to 5:1 because thin filaments were shared by adjacent thick filaments.
The studies to estimate the surface spectral reflectance of an object have received widespread attention using the multi-spectral camera system. However, the multi-spectral camera system requires the additional color filter according to increment of the channel and system complexity is increased by multiple capture. Thus, this paper proposes an algorithm to reduce the estimation error of surface spectral reflectance with the conventional 3-band RGB camera. In the proposed method, adaptive principal components for each pixel are calculated by renewing the population of surface reflectances and the adaptive principal components can reduce estimation error of surface spectral reflectance of current pixel. To evaluate performance of the proposed estimation method, 3-band principal component analysis, 5-band wiener estimation method, and the proposed method are compared in the estimation experiment with the Macbeth Color Checker. As a result, the proposed method showed a lower mean square error between the estimated and the measured spectra compared to the conventional 3-band principal component analysis method and represented a similar or advanced estimation performance compared to the 5-band wiener method.

In this paper, we have illuminated the radiation modes of rectangular planar antennas to interpret the nature of the wideband characteristic upon which formulas for bandwidth prediction are presented. Rectangular planar antennas are being investigated by many researchers in virtue of relatively simple design and fabrication procedures to replace the cylindrical monopoles. But the design principle for rectangular planar antennas is still based on that of cylindrical monopoles, and the nature of the wideband characteristic and the formula to estimate the upper band frequency are not analyzed yet. In this research, we have shown the patterns of the radiation modes explaining the wideband characteristic and also proposed the upper band frequency with minor modification for the lower band frequency formula based on mode formation principles. Finally we have confirmed the validity of our results, within 10 % accuracy, by the application to some published results.

In this paper, we propose 2.6 GHz single band dual polarization MIMO omni antenna for in-building applications. The proposed antenna operates at 2.6 GHz single LTE band, Up-link 2.52~2.54 GHz and Down-link 2.64~2.66 GHz. Horizontal and vertical polarizations of the antenna has been, respectively, constructed by the synthesis of four folded loop antennas and the folded monopole antenna. The height of the MIMO omni-directional antenna is minimized to be less than ${\lambda}/13.5$ from the ground. The measurement results show excellent MIMO omni antenna performance of 2.85 dBi vertical polarization gain, 2.29 dBi horizontal polarization gain, and 19.25 dB port isolation.

In this paper, we design and fabricate a VCO(Voltage Controlled Oscillator) for radar detector of X/K/Ka band using frequency multiplier. The existing VCO operated in radar detector have many Problems such as narrow bandwidth, slow frequency variable rate, unstable of production due to high frequency. So we design and fabricate a VCO improved such problems using frequency multiplier. As a result of measure, investigated frequency multiple VCO show its output power 3.64 dBm at multiplied operating frequency 11.27 GHz and have wide frequency tuning range of 660 MHz by controlled voltage 0V to 4.50 V applied diode. And also its phase noise is -104.0 dEc at 1 MHz offset frequency so we obtain suitable performance for commercial use.
In this paper, we have designed microstrip antenna if 800[MHz] band It will be able to integrate TRS(Trunked Radio System), GSM(Global System for Mobile telecommunication) band including the CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) band we designed repeater and a base station antenna which is possible at the ship and marine of safety. It is improves a narrow bandwidth problem of microstrip antenna. It had U-shaped feeding structure at a rectangular patch And ground or feeding structure used between dielectric constant(${\varepsilon}_T$ = 2.1), patch or feeding structure used between dielectric constant(${\varepsilon}_T$ =1). So it used a duplex resonance effect Designed frequency bandwith(V5WR 2:1) if the antenna showed good characteristic of $780[MHz]{\sim}1.83[GHz]$ to 2.61[GHz]. Also the E-plan and H-plan all profit 9.4[dBi] above, the 3[dB] beam width showed the characteristic over the E-plan and H-plan $60^{\circ}$ to be improved.

In recent years, OFDMA(orthogonal frequency division multiple access) and SC-FDMA(Single Carrier Frequency Division Multiple Access) have been widely studied for the uplink of a mobile communication system. In this paper, PAPR(Peak-to-Average Power Ratio) and BER(Bit Error Rate) performance of the OFDMA and SC-FDMA systems are studied in relation to the uplink of a mobile communication system. Three kinds of sub-carrier allocation methods in the OFDMA system and 2 kinds of sub-carrier allocation methods in SC-FDMA system are suggested to compare and improve system performance. Simulation results show that in the OFDMA system, the first sub-band allocation method has better PAPR reduction performance than the other methods. In the SC-FDMA system, the distributed allocation method offers similar P APR, compared with the sub-band allocation method. P APR can be further reduced by adding a spectrum shaping filter with an appropriate roll of factor. Furthermore, it is found that on average, SC-FDMA can reduce the PAPR by more than 5 dB compared to OFDMA, when the total sub-carrier number is 1,024 and the sub-carrier number allocated to each user changes trom 8 to 512. Because of the frequency diversity and low PAPR characteristics, SC-FDMA system of the distributed sub-carrier allocation method can achieve better BER performance than the OFDMA system.
As various communication services have emerged due to the development of mobile communication technology, there is a need for a wideband antenna supporting multiple communication services with one antenna. In this paper, we propose a planar slot wideband antenna that can support all the communication services of 3.1~4.99GHz, the low frequency band of 5G, in addition to the existing communication services such as WiFi, LTE 2300/2500, and WiMAX. Through the simulation, the optimized antenna design parameters were obtained, and the antenna was fabricated to implement an antenna with a frequency bandwidth of 1.96~6.01GHz (S11 <-10dB) and presented the radiation pattern and gain of the antenna. The proposed antenna is a multi-band antenna that can provide all the services of LTE, Wifi, WiMAX, and 5G low frequency bands. It can be used as a repeater antenna in radio shadow area such as buildings, dense areas, and ships.

We have studied a method to fabricated a Surface Acoustic Waves (SAW) filter for Wide band Codeless Division Multiple Access(WCDMA) was formed on the Langasite substrate and was evaporated by Aluminum-Copper alloy and then we developed a simulator using the mathematica package. And, we can design and fabricate the Slanted finger Inter-digital Transducer (SFIT) for the purpose to decreased the ultimate rejections on side of the electrodes, and performed computer-simulation by simulator. Also, we have employed that the block weighted type Inter-digital Transduce(IDT) as input transduce of the filter and the withdrawal weighted type IDT as an output transducer of the filter in order to minimize effect of diffractions. We have employed that the number of pairs of the input and output IDT are 50 pairs and the thickness and the width of reflector are $5000\AA$, and $1\lambda/4(\cong3.6{\mu}m)$, respectively. Also the width of IDT' finger and the space between IDT' finger and reflector are $1\lambda$/16 and 1\lambda$/8, respectively. Frequency response of the fabricated SAW bandpass filter has the property that center frequency is about 190MHz, bandwidth at the 3dB is probably 4MHz and out-band attenuation is -60dB approximately.
A new medium access control (MAC) scheme embedding physical channels into multiband carrier sense multiple access/collision avoidance (CSMA/CA) networks is proposed to provide strict quality of service (QoS) guarantee to high priority users. In the proposed scheme, two priority classes of users, primary and secondary users, are supported. For primary users physical channels are provided to ensure strict QoS, whereas secondary users are provided with best-effort service using CSMA/CA modified for multiband operation. The performance of the proposed MAC scheme is investigated using a new multiband CSMA/CA Markov chain model capturing the primary user activity and the operation of secondary users in multiple bands. The throughput of secondary users is obtained as a function of the primary user activity and other CSMA/CA parameters. It is shown that the new MAC scheme yields larger throughput than the conventional single-band CSMA/CA when both schemes use the same bandwidth.
