대학 강의실의 음향성능 개선에 관한 연구 (An Study on the Improvement of Acoustics Performance of the Lecture Room)

  • This study has carried out in order to furnish the fundamental material to systemize the lecture room into multimedia in the future, by locating college lecture room as the subject of study, by compare and analyze on acoustic character in both before and after of each improvement. Thereby, now we are about to compare and analyze on physical character of room acoustics in both common lecture room before improvement and the modified multimedia-lecture room after its improvement. Observing the conclusion obtained through experiment, reverberation time in the modified 'lecture room after improvement' became shorter compare with the 'lecture room before improvement', definition and RASTI also improved to be suitable to lecture, and considered that it is able to elevate the intimacy with studying and teaching efficiency, as well.

Study on the Factors Influencing the Quality of a Cyber Lecture

  • There are numerous advantages of online education to the students and to the institution. There are important factors to be considered for a successful online education. The purposes of this paper are to investigate students' viewpoints, called factors, to the cyber class and analyze these factors to be a successful cyber class. For theses purposes, we developed and constructed the cyber lecture, and we surveyed student evaluations two times for the cyber lecture in the middle and at the end. We found that students view the cyber class with four factors. Assessments on factors were changed during the cyber class and were different according to students' background.

멀티미디어 통합에 의한 원격교육 강의 녹화 (Lecture Encoding of Distance Education by Multimedia Integration)

  • In distance education, use of proper software tools can greatly enhance student's attention and learning efficiency. In such software tools, offering diverse multimedia information is one of the most critical factors. However, integration and synchronization of the various media types has been relatively difficult parts of implementation. This paper proposes a prototype system that uses a metafile and event handling mechanism for the uniform treatment of various media types. This event-level integration and synchronization of multimedia makes the implementation relatively simple. With this approach, instructor's behaviors are automatically recorded, and the instructors can freely choose and show any type of multimedia contents while lecturing. Current commercial or non-commercial lecture management systems could incorporate this approach, so that the distance education market could be expanded with richer multimedia contents.

  • This paper presents an advanced virtual lecture system for power system which is based on web. So far, conventional web-based virtual lecture systems which simply would use hyper-text couldn't use characteristics of multimedia in web. Comparing with printed publication, such conventional virtual lecture systems as only display on monitor couldn't be superior in validity and effectiveness. So, in this paper the proposed virtual lecture system uses web-based multimedia functions, including lecture-note and AOD(Audio on Demand), in order to overcome an individual difference of learning efficiency and suggests simple simulation programs for lecture contents which can be performed directly in on-line.

웹기반의 건강사정 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 개발 (Development of Web-based Multimedia Content for a Physical Examination and Health Assessment Course)

  • Purpose: This study was to develop Web-based multimedia content for Physical Examination and Health Assesment. Method: The multimedia content was developed based on Jung's teaching and learning structure plan model, using the following 5 processes: 1) Analysis Stage, 2) Planning Stage, 3) Storyboard Framing and Production Stage, 4) Program Operation Stage, and 5) Final Evaluation Stage. Results: The web based multimedia content consisted of an intro movie, main page and sub pages. On the main page, there were 6 menu bars that consisted of Announcement center, Information of professors, Lecture guide, Cyber lecture, Q&A, and Data centers, and a site map which introduced 15 week lectures. In the operation of web based multimedia content, HTML, JavaScript, Flash, and multimedia technology(Audio and Video) were utilized and the content consisted of text content, interactive content, animation, and audio & video. Consultation with the experts in context, computer engineering, and educational technology was utilized in the development of these processes. Conclusions: Web-based multimedia content is expected to offer individualized and tailored learning opportunities to maximize and facilitate the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. Therefore, multimedia content should be utilized concurrently with the lecture in the Physical Examination and Health Assesment classes as a vital teaching aid to make up for the weakness of the face-to- face teaching-learning method.

센서 네트워크 기반 강의실 제어시스템 구현 (Implementation of A Lecture Room Control System Based on a Sensor Network)

  • 최근 들어 센서 네트워크에 대한 관심이 증가됨에 따라서 다양한 분야에서 이를 활용한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 센서 네트워크 기반 강의실 제어 시스템을 제안하고 구현한다. 강사의 강의 이력 정보를 센서 네트워크를 통하여 수집하고, 이 정보를 활용하여 강사가 강의실에 들어갈 때 강의실 내 PC, 빔 프로젝터, 전등 등을 강의에 적합한 형태로 제어해 주면 효과적인 강의 진행이 가능하다. 본 논문에서 제안한 강의실 제어 시스템이 효과적으로 동작할 수 있도록 센서 네트워크를 구축하고 성능 실험을 한다. 이를 통하여 강의실에 설치한 센서 노드의 메시지 발생 주기와, 센서 노드 간 통신이 원활하게 이루어질 수 있도록 강의실 내 배치된 센서 노드의 수를 최적화할 수 있는 값을 구하였다.

  • 사이버 강의는 전통적인 수업의 대안으로써 주목을 받았으나, 교육의 효율성이 떨어진다는 비판을 받아왔다. 하지만 교육 공학이 접목된 사이버 강좌의 기획력과 최근 컴퓨터 및 네트웍 등의 기술 발전의 결합은 사이버 강좌 교육의 효율성을 상당히 제고하는 것으로 보고되고 있다. 본 논문의 지향점은 사이버 강좌 교육의 학습 효율성을 높이기 위하여 사이버 강좌 제작에 있어서 중점이 되는 요소들을 파악하는데 있다. 본 연구를 위하여 제작된 사이버 강좌는 강좌의 학습 효율성을 극명하게 나타내기 위하여 일반적인 이론교육이 아닌 소프트웨어 실습이 중심이 되는 컴퓨터 교과목이다. 제작된 강좌의 학습 효율성을 위하여 강의를 수강한 학생들에 설문 조사를 통하여 데이터를 수집한 후 통계적인 처리를 통하여 사이버 강좌의 학습 효율성에 유의미한 영향을 주는 요소들을 분석하였다.

중학교 일반교실 실내음향 시뮬레이션에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Computer Simulation of Acoustic Characteristics in Middle School Lecture Room)

  • The purpose of the research on the noise of educational facilities is to build up pleasant environments by minimizing the influence on the students in the school. This study provides fundamental data for acoustic design by measuring, computer simulation and analyzing the room acoustic characteristics of the lecture room in middle school. For measurement on the factors of room acoustic, RT of lecture room and noise reductions depending on various walls of different structures were measured and analyzed. The lecture system being installed and carried out on the normal lecture room was divided into 4 types-employment of multimedia machines, employment of multimedia machines and loud speakers, employment of loud speaker, and existing verbal speaking-and SPL for each type was measured and analyzed. Based on the measured characteristics of acoustic characteristics for normal lecture room, the problems for environment of noise were understood through computer simulation, applications for improvements of performance for each facility were studied, schemes for improvements of performance by using the effects were presented, necessary fundamental data were secured, and schemes to enhance flexibility on the existing facilities of school against changing educational courses were secured.

멀티미디어 동화수업과 구연동화 수업이 유아의 언어표현력과 그리기 표상능력에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Multimedia Fairy Tale and Narrative Fairy Tale Lectures on Children's Language Expression Ability and Drawing Representation Ability)

  • 본 연구는 멀티미디어 동화수업과 구연동화 수업이 유아의 언어표현력과 그리기 표상능력에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 목적을 갖고, 2011년 3월에서 4월간 D광역시에 소재하고 있는 K유치원과 S유치원 만5세 유아 50명(연구집단 25명, 비교집단 25명)을 대상으로 하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 멀티미디어 동화수업 집단이 구연동화 수업 집단에 비해 언어표현력 점수가 높았다. 둘째, 멀티미디어 동화수업 집단이 구연동화 수업 집단에 비해 그리기 표상능력 점수가 높았다. 이는 유아교육에서 멀티미디어를 활용한 교육활동의 중요함을 나타낸 것으로 유아들은 멀티미디어 동화를 듣고 다양한 언어활동을 통해 이야기를 보다 잘 이해 할 수 있으며, 동화 속 주인공을 탐색하고 그리기로 연계해서 표상하는 과정을 통해 유아의 언어표현력과 그리기 표상능력의 향상을 가져옴을 시사하였다. 그러나 멀티미디어 동화수업 하나만을 강조하는 교육활동보다는 구연동화의 장점을 보완한 상호 적절하게 연계한 교육활동이 요구된다.

효과적인 영어학습을 위한 멀티미디어 학습 도구의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Multimedia Teaching Aids for the Effective English Learning)

  • There has been a study about the effective multimedia education using a computer following the appearance of a virtual space. Also, there has been an effort to connect the information & communication technology with education. The popular on-line lecture systems are mostly on English lecture sites. However, they just offer the VOD(Video On Demand) services ignoring students' convenience. To improve these week points, we design and implement the multimedia leaching system focusing on an efficient repeat-effect in order that students can control the Media Player by clicking a sentence on a web page. This paper presents the Editor and Player considering students' interest and the effective learning fruits. So users can easily make multimedia materials and use them to improve their English listening skill.
