In restricted resources based on mobile environment, we can use an embedded database technology for management of MPEG-7 data. At this time, some XML clustering methods can be used. But, to improve the performance efficiency better, a new clustering method is need to store effective MPEG-7 document. In this paper, we have designed and implemented a MPEG-7 document management system to store MPEG-7 document effectively in mobile device such as PDA. The system used the 버클리 DB XML as a native embedded XML database system based on the clustering method of MPEG-7 data.

The positioning system based on wireless AP collects AP information distributed in the real world, stores it into database, and measures the position objects by comparing with searched AP information. The existing fingerprinting method is a probabilistic modeling method that acquires much of the data collected from one location upon database composition, and stores the average of the data for the sake of use it in positioning objects. Using the average value, however, may cause the probability of errors Such errors are fatal weaknesses for services based on the accurate position. This paper described the characteristics and problems of the previously used wireless AP positioning system, and proposed a method of using the AP DB and an MSS mechanism for outdoor positioning in order to solve the aforementioned problems. And the results obtained from experimental tests showed that the proposed method achieved very low error rate(27%) compared with the existing method.

In this paper, we propose cause diagnosis method of semiconductor defects from semiconductor industrial images. Our method constructs feature database (DB) of defect images. Then, defect and input images are subdivided by uniform block. And the block similarity is measured using histogram kai-square distance after color histogram calculation. Then, searched blocks in each image are merged into connected objects using clustering. Finally, the most similar defect image from feature DB is searched with the defect cause by measuring cluster similarity based on features of each cluster. Our method was validated by calculating the search accuracy of n output images having high similarity. With n = 1, 2, 3, the search accuracy was measured to be 100% regardless of defect categories. Our method could be used for the industrial applications.

본 논문에서는 Sun의 JMF(Java Media Framework)를 이용하여 웹 기반 실시간 스트리밍 시스템의 설계 및 구현을 제시한다. 웹 기반 실시간 스트리밍 시스템 구현은 미디어 소스의 채택 부분에서 볼 때 크게 두 부분으로 나누어질 수 있는데, 첫 번째는 서버 측의 로컬 파일 시스템에서 미디어를 읽어오는 On-Demand 형식의 PULL 방식과 두 번째는 캡처된 영상 또는 음성을 RTP를 이용하여 실시간 처리할 수 있는 PUSH 방식을 들 수 있다. PULL 방식의 경우, 미디어파일들을 DB화시켜 JDBC를 이용하여 On-Demand 재생을 구성할 수 있으며, PUSH 방식의 경우, 각종 캡쳐 장비를 이용하여 얻은 미디어 소스를 RTP 송신하여 실시간 미디어 재생을 구성할 수 있다.

With the wide deployment of biometric authentication systems, several issues pertaining security and privacy of the biometric template have gained great attention from the research community. To resolve these issues, a number of biometric template protection methods have been proposed. However, the design of a template protection method to satisfy four criteria, namely diversity, revocability and non-invertibility is still a challenging task, especially performance degradation when template protection method is employed. In this paper, we propose a novel method to generate a revocable minutiae-based fingerprint template. The proposed method consists of feature extraction from fingerprint minutiae pairs, quantization, histogram binning, binarization and eventually binary bit-string generation. The contributions of our method are two fold: alignment-free and good performance. Various experiments on FVC2004 DB1 demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

본 논문에서는 다수의 로봇으로부터 습득한 센서 데이터를 효율적으로 처리하기 위한 플랫폼을 제안한다. Master-Slave 구조의 분산처리 서버를 통해 센서 데이터를 실시간으로 처리하고, 처리된 데이터는 비정형 데이터 형태로 DB 서버를 통해 분산 저장 및 관리한다. 제안하는 설계를 통해 다수의 로봇이 생성한 센서 데이터를 성능 저하 없이 처리할 수 있는 플랫폼을 구축하였고, 다수의 2D 카메라 센서를 활용하여 처리 성능을 실험하였다.

In recent, development of wireless internet technology gradually has increased multimedia application in mobile device. Specially, application of grand capacity multimedia contents has increased in mobile environment gradually. MPEG-7 can search multimedia data using various type. But in restricted grand capacity of multimedia, MPEG-7 is used to be limited in desktop computer system mostly. Therefore, management of grand capacity multimedia data has become very important researching topic in mobile environment, and so embedded DBMS based on MPEG-7 for multimedia data management in client-server environment is needed. The system supports restricted hardware resource for multimedia application in mobile device. In this paper, we propose a method for MPEG-7 data clustering that included MPEG-7 data property. On the base of the clustering result, we also develop the embedded multimedia database management system based on MPEG-7 scheme(EMDS:MPEG-7 Scheme Based Embedded Multimedia Database Management System) in mobile device such as PDA.

Recently, use of the GIS (Geographic Information System) for the disaster of the urban inundation is increasing. The digital disaster map is the system which analyzes the occurrence area of inundation in the past and forecasts the flood areas by the hydrology method. The development of the system which simulates the flood forecast area by the SWMM(Storm Water Management System) and hydrology method and displays the danger areas is required for the construction of the inundation forecast system. And the spatial database which contains information of the urban facilities such as the street and building and the sewer system such as the manhole and drainage and the result of the hydrology analysis is constructed. In this paper, we propose the method for transforming the Shape File in ESRI into the Oracle spatial database to construct the spatial data for the drainage systems and urban facilities using the Shape File format in the ESRI. We suggest the algorithm for the transformation of the data format, and develop the prototype system to display the inundation area using the spatial database.

사람 몸의 약 70%를 구성하고 있는 물에 대한 현대인의 관심은 줄어만 가고 최근 들어 늘어가는 카페들과 각종 재료를 첨가한 달콤한 음료들이 생활 속에 깊숙이 파고 들고 있다. 아침에 일어나자마자 마시는 것은 물이 아닌 커피, 식사 후 지인들과의 대화에 함께 하는 것 또한 물이 아닌 카페 음료들, 각종 패스트푸드 섭취와 함께 마시는 탄산음료들은 물이 설 자리를 빼앗고 있다. 이러한 생활 습관은 현대인들의 물 섭취량 감소를 촉진하며 건강의 적신호를 보내고 있다. 이 어플리케이션의 목적은 지금의 위험 상황을 자각하지 못하는 현대인들을 위해 다양한 서비스를 통해 자동으로 물 섭취를 권장하고자 한다. 개개인에게 맞춤형 서비스를 제공함으로써 체내의 물 부족 현상에 대한 자각심을 일깨우고 스스로 점검할 수 있게 한다. 멀티 테넌트 환경으로 구현하고자 BaaS 플랫폼을 통해 서버 구축, DB 설계, 서비스 기능 개발 연구를 진행하고 모든 리소스가 공유되어 사용자에게 물 섭취 기록, 기록을 볼 수 있는 타임라인, GPS 를 활용한 주변의 물 위치 정보를 제공한다.

Our society becomes complex because technology is developing quickly. Especially, building services field deals with the important information that produces a drawing and manages the planning information and manpower. Therefore, the efficient management that connected with the construction information plays the important roles. The study develops a database by organizing systematically the various types of information using hypermedia. And, this study is to build the management system that can serve the various information that operated by DBMS on the web according to the DB structure. The information database was developed using internet web technology for building services field.
