  • 양수시험시 획득되는 회복자료만을 이용하여 저유계수를 추정하는 일반해를 제시하였다. Banton and Bangoy(1996)가 제시한 단 단계(single-step) 양수시험에서 얻는 회복자료를 이용한 저유계수 추정해를 일반적인 다단계 (multi-step)시험 회복자료에도 적용 가능하게 확장한 것이다. 본 연구에서 구한 일반 해를 이용하여 저유계수와 투수계수를 구한 결과 다른 방법으로 구한 결과 값과 잘 일치하였다.

Optimum multi-objective modified step-stress accelerated life test plan for the Burr type-XII distribution

  • This paper deals with formulation of optimum multi-objective modified step-stress accelerated life test (ALT) plan for Burr type-XII distribution under type-I censoring. Since it is impractical to estimate only one objective parameter after conducting costly ALT tests; also, it is not desirable to assume instantaneous changes in stress levels because of limited capacity of test equipments and the presence of undesirable failure modes, therefore, an optimum multi-objective modified step-stress ALT plan has been designed. The optimal test plan consists in determining the optimum low stress level and optimal time at which stress starts linearly increasing from low stress by minimizing the weighted sum of the asymptotic variances of the maximum likelihood estimator of quantile lifetimes at design constant stress. The method developed has been illustrated using an example. Sensitivity analysis has been carried out. Comparative study has also been done to highlight the merits of the proposed model.

Multi-view 영상 코딩에서 영상 개선 알고리듬 (An algorithm for the image improvement in the multi-view images coding)

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient multi-view images coding algorithm to find the optimal depth and texture from the set of multi-view images. The proposed algorithm consists of two consecutive steps, i) the depth estraction step, and ii) the texture extraction step, comparedwith the traditional algorithem which finds the depth and texture concurrently. The X-Y plane of the normalized object space is divided into traingular paatches and the Z value of the node is determined in the first step and then the texture of the each patch is extracted in the second step. In the depth extraction step, the depth of the node is determined by applying the block based disparity compensation method to the windowed area centered at the node. In the second step, the texture of the traingular patches is extracted from the multi-view images by applying the affine transformation based disparity compensation method to the traingular pateches with the depth extracted from the first step. Experimental results show that the SNR(Singnal-to- Noise Ratio) of images enconded by our algorithm is better than that of images encoded by the traditional algorithm by the amount about 4dB for for the test sets of multi-view images called dragon, kid, city and santa.

유전자알고리즘 및 발견적 방법을 이용한 차량운송경로계획 모델 (Integrated Vehicle Routing Model for Multi-Supply Centers Based on Genetic Algorithm)

  • The distribution routing problem is one of the important problems in distribution and supply center management. This research is concerned with an integrated distribution routing problem for multi-supply centers based on improved genetic algorithm and GUI-type programming. In this research, we used a three-step approach; in step 1 a sector clustering model is developed to transfer the multi-supply center problem to single supply center problems which are more easy to be solved, in step 2 we developed a vehicle routing model with time and vehicle capacity constraints and in step 3, we developed a GA-TSP model which can improve the vehicle routing schedules by simulation. For the computational purpose, we developed a GUI-type computer program according to the proposed methods and the sample outputs show that the proposed method is very effective on a set of standard test problems, and it could be potentially useful in solving the distribution routing problems in multi-supply center problem.

  • This paper presents the design approach and test results of the Q-band precision subminiature coaxial adaptor based on transmission line theory using multi-step impedance and air-holes to increase its cutoff frequency. In order to increase the frequency performance, the adaptor is designed with hooked structure, fixing step, multi-air-holes, and outer conductor. The return loss increments due to the hooked structure and multi air-holes are minimized to 2 dB and 1.5 dB, respectively. A VSWR(Voltage Standing Wave Ratio) of <1.2 is obtained from DC to 40 GHz, while guaranteeing the durability of the adaptor from room-temperature$(25^{\circ}C)$ to $120^{\circ}C$.

  • Neural network as a controller of a nonlinear system and a system identifier has been studied during the past few years. A well trained neural network identifier can be used as a system predictor. We proposed the method to design multi-step ahead predictor and multi-step predictive controller using neural network. We used the input and out put data of B system to train the NNP and used the forecasted approximat system output from NNP as B input of NNC. In this paper we used two-step ahead predictive controller to test B heating controll system and compared with PI controller.

  • In this study, a large bus is tested for measuring the steering response based on the slarom test and step steer test. A full car model by using ADAMS/Car is established for computer simulation. For bus modeling, user defined templates are made and used in the simulation. Simulation results according to the slarom and step steer test are compared to the physical experiments, in which several sensors are installed to measure vehicle responses. The results obtained from the comparison show a good agreement with regard to the vehicle velocity and steering angle.

질소제거를 위한 금속표면처리폐수의 전기화학적 처리 (The Electro-Chemical Treatment for Nitrogen Removal of Metal Finishing Wastewater)

  • 본 연구에서는 전기화학적 처리공정을 이용하여 전극판 종류에 따른 질산성 질소의 농도별 제거효율을 살펴보았고, 여기서 선정된 전극으로 운전조건(pH 변화, 전류밀도, 환원제, 교차전류)을 변화시켜 질산성 질소 제거효율, 에너지소모량에 따른 최적운전조건을 평가하였다. 또한 단일공정에 의한 처리가 아닌 다단계 전기화학적 처리를 통한 질산성 질소 제거 실험을 진행하였다. 100 mg $NO_3^{-}$ -N/L 농도로 실험한 결과에서 동일 전극인 경우 Zn-Zn 전극판, 불용성 산화전극 백금(Pt)인 경우 Pt-Ti 전극에서 높은 질산성 질소 제거효율을 나타내었다. 150 mg $NO_3^{-}$ -N/L에서 Zn-Zn 전극판인 경우 pH 조절없이 전기분해한 결과 70~85%, 불용성 산화전극인 백금(Pt)인 경우 Pt-Ti 전극에서 40~50%의 질산성 질소 제거효율을 나타내었다. 그리고 고농도인 500, 1,000 mg $NO_3^{-}$ -N/L 질산성 질소 제거 실험결과, 농도가 증가할수록 제거효율은 감소하는 경향을 보이지만 에너지 소모량에 대한 질소 제거효율은 증가하였다. 다단계 전기화학적 처리 실험결과, Test 4 조건을 최적의 조건으로 선정하였으며 그 이유는 다음과 같다. 첫 번째, 1단계에서 소모된 Zn 양극의 대부분을 2단계 이후 공정에서 회수하였고, 두 번째, 2단계 이후에서는 불용성 백금을 산화전극으로 사용함으로써 전극 소모 가능성을 줄였으며, 마지막으로 Zn을 환원전극으로 사용함으로써 Zn의 재이용 가능성을 높였다. 따라서, 질소를 함유한 표면처리 폐수 처리에 전기화학적 공정이 적용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

다축 힘/모멘트 센서 교정기의 개발 및 그의 불확도 평가 (Development of Calibration System for Multi-Axis Force/Moment Sensor and Its Uncertainty Evaluation)

  • This paper describes the development of the calibration system for a multi-axis force/moment sensor and its uncertainty evaluation. This calibration system can generate the continuous forces (${\pm}Fx,\;{\pm}Fy$ and ${\pm}Fz$) and moments (${\pm}Mx,\;{\pm}My$ and ${\pm}Mz$). Many kinds of multi-axis force/moment sensors in industries should be carried out the characteristic test or the calibration with the calibration system that can generate the forces and the moments. The calibration systems have been already developed are the disadvantages of the low capacity, the generation of step forces(10N, 20N ...) and step moments(1Nm, 2Nm ...) with weights, the high coasts in manufacture and so on. In this paper, the calibration system for a multi-axis force/moment sensor that can generate the continuous three forces and three moments was developed. Their ranges are $0{\sim}2000N$ in all force-directions and $0{\sim}400Nm$ in all moment-directions. And the system was evaluated in the expanded relative uncertainty. They were ${\pm}0.0004$ in all forces ${\pm}Fx,\;{\pm}Fy$ and ${\pm}Fz$, and ${\pm}0.0004$ in all moments ${\pm}Mx,\;{\pm}My$ and ${\pm}Mz$.

수학과 특별보충과정 편성 및 운영에 관한 개선 방안 (An Improvement Program on Specially Supplementary Course in Mathematics for the Test and Teaching)

  • 일선학교에서는 방과 후 또는 방학 중 교육으로써 학습부진학생들에 대하여 특별보충과정반이라는 이름으로 따로 학급을 편성하여 운영하고 있다. 그러나 이들 학급 편성에 대한 명확하면서 납득할 만한 기준이 없고, 학교의 여건, 교사 수급 문제, 학생의 정서 문제 등 여러 가지 이유에 의하여 활성화 되지 못하고 있는 것이 사실이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 학습부진 학생들을 위한 효율적인 지도방안으로서, 특히 특별보충과정반의 편성 운영에 대하여 탐색한다.
