This paper is concerned with development of a multi-attribute structured decision model. In this study, we used AHP(analytic hierarchy process) and fuzzy set ranking methodology to overcome the multi-attributes structured decision problems ; such as multi-objective, multi-criterion, and multi-attributes. We proposed a 2-step approach : 1) individual evaluation and 2) integration of individual evaluations. In the first step, we define the performance factors and construct ana]isis structure, and in the second step performance evaluation by individual evaluators, and in second step, the results of individual evaluations are integrate. Also we developed a systematic and practical computer program to solve the problems according to the proposed methods. The proposed approach was known to be effective through a set of sample problems.

This paper describes a Multi-step Digitizing Method and Reverse Model generation algorithm for improvement of reverse engineering accuracy. Reverse engineering is the process of reproducing computational model by directly extracting geometric information on the physical objects. For the improvement of measuring data accuracy, we propose a multi-step digitizing method. First, measuring cloud-of-point by use of a laser scanning system. Second, gathering digitizing data by a scanning touch probe. Fine digitizing plan generated from coarse surface model directly from the cloud-of-point and it allows CMM more accurate scanning data. Finally in this paper we propose the algorithm of generating NURB surface from more accurate measuring points.
The distribution routing problem is one of the important problems in distribution and supply center management. This research is concerned with an integrated distribution routing problem for multi-supply centers based on improved genetic algorithm and GUI-type programming. In this research, we used a three-step approach; in step 1 a sector clustering model is developed to transfer the multi-supply center problem to single supply center problems which are more easy to be solved, in step 2 we developed a vehicle routing model with time and vehicle capacity constraints and in step 3, we developed a GA-TSP model which can improve the vehicle routing schedules by simulation. For the computational purpose, we developed a GUI-type computer program according to the proposed methods and the sample outputs show that the proposed method is very effective on a set of standard test problems, and it could be potentially useful in solving the distribution routing problems in multi-supply center problem.

In this study two dimensional visco-plastic finite element model capable of handling the multi-step excavation was developed for investigating the effect of excavation support sequences on the behavior of underground openings in the jointed rock mass. First, the finite element model which is capable of handling the multi-step excavation is developed and verified. And then the model is combined with visco-plastic joint model. Ubiquitous joint pattern was considered in the model and joint properties in cach set were assumed to be indentical. Passive, full-grouted rockbolts were cosidered in the numerical model. The visco-plastic deformations of joints and rockbolts were assumed to be governed by Mohr-Conlomb and von Mises yield criteria, respectively. With the ability of removing elements, the model can simulate the multi-step excavation-suppport sequences. The reliability and applicability of the model to the stability analysis for the underground excavation in pratice was checked by simulating the behavior of underground crude oil storage caverns under construction.
Smoking is one of the main causes of health problems and continues to be one of the world's most significant health challenges. In this paper, we use the multi-step Adomian decomposition method (MSADM) to obtain approximate analytical solutions for a mathematical fractional model of the evolution of the smoking habit. The proposed MSADM scheme is only a simple modification of the Adomian decomposition method (ADM), in which ADM is treated algorithmically with a sequence of small intervals (i.e. time step) for finding accurate approximate solutions to the corresponding problems. A comparative study between the new algorithm and the classical Runge-Kutta method is presented in the case of integer-order derivatives. The solutions obtained are also presented graphically. The results reveal that the method is effective and convenient for solving linear and nonlinear differential equations of fractional order.
In this paper, a Diffusion Multi-step Classifier (DMC) is proposed to address the imbalance issue in credit prediction. DMC utilizes a Diffusion Model to generate continuous numerical data from credit prediction data and creates categorical data through a Multi-step Classifier. Compared to other algorithms generating synthetic data, DMC produces data with a distribution more similar to real data. Using DMC, data that closely resemble actual data can be generated, outperforming other algorithms for data generation. When experiments were conducted using the generated data, the probability of predicting delinquencies increased by over 20%, and overall predictive accuracy improved by approximately 4%. These research findings are anticipated to significantly contribute to reducing delinquency rates and increasing profits when applied in actual financial institutions.

The protection against transient instability and consequent out-of-step condition is a major concern for the utility industry. Unstable system may cause serious damage to system elements such as generators and transmission lines. Therefore, out-of-step detection is essential to operate a system safely. Also, a multi-agent system is one that consists of a number of agents, which interact with one another. Multi-agent systems(MAS) can offer the flexibility and the adaptability to the previous algorithm. In this paper, the detection algorithm of out-of-step is designed by multi-agent system and implemented by EMTP-MODELS. To verify performance of the proposed algorithm based on multi-agent system, simulations by EMTP have been carried out.

In this paper, we propose an optimal model for mid to long-term price prediction of agricultural products using LGBM, MLP, LSTM, and GRU to compare and analyze the three strategies of the Multi-Step Time Series. The proposed model is designed to find the optimal combination between the models by selecting methods from various angles. Prior agricultural product price prediction studies have mainly adopted traditional econometric models such as ARIMA and LSTM-type models. In contrast, agricultural product price prediction studies related to Multi-Step Time Series were minimal. In this study, the experiment was conducted by dividing it into two periods according to the degree of volatility of agricultural product prices. As a result of the mid-to-long-term price prediction of three strategies, namely direct, hybrid, and multiple outputs, the hybrid approach showed relatively superior performance. This study academically and practically contributes to mid-to-long term daily price prediction by proposing an effective alternative.

The Timoshenko beam model has been known as the most accurate model for representing beam structures. However, the Timoshenko beam model may give rise to a significant error when it is applied to multi-stepped beam structures. This paper is intended to demonstrate the modeling error of Timoshenko beam based finite element model for multi-stepped beam structures and to suggest a new modeling method to improve the accuracy. A tentative bending spring is introduced into the stepped section to represent the softening effect due to the presence of step. This paper also proposes a finite element modeling method in the light with the tentative bending spring model for the step softening effect. The proposed method rigorously adapts computation results from a commercial finite element code. The validity of the proposed method is demonstrated through a series of simulation and experiment.

This paper discusses the multi-level optimization method in dynamic optimization problems through stiffened plate of ship structures. In structural optimization the computational cost increases rapidly as the number of design variables increases. And we need a great amount of cal-culation and time on problems of modified dynamic characteristics of large and complicated struc-tures. In this paper the multi-level optimization is proposed which decreases computational time and cost. the dynamic optimum designs of stiffened plate that control the natural frequency and minimize weight subjected to constraints condition are derived. The way to apply the multi-level optimization methods in this study follow: In the first step the dynamic characteristics is controlled for the two-dimensional model of stiffened plate by sensitivity analysis and quasi-least squares methods. In the second step the cross-section of the stiffener is decided so that the weight is minimized under needed constraints by the steepest descent or ascent method. In the third the three-dimensional model is made based on the results of the first step and the second step confirmation and finer tuning of the objective function are carried out. It is shown that the results are effective in the optimum modification for dynamic characteristics of the stiffened plate.
