Multi Stage Simulations for Autobody Member Part (자동차 멤버 부품의 다공정 성형해석)

  • Most of automobile member parts experience severe springback problems because of their complicated shape and high yielding strength. Now it becomes imperative to develop an effective method to resolve these problems. However, there remain several obstacles to get accurate estimation of dimensional shape. Especially the effective algorithms to simulate sheet metal forming processes including drawing, trimming, flanging and springback is demanded for the multi stage simulation of automobile member parts. In this study, for the purpose of accurate springback calculation, a simulation program which is robust in springback analysis is developed. Favorable enhancement in computation time for springback analysis by using latest equation solving technique and robust solution convergence by continuation method are achieved with the program. In analysis, the multi processes of rear side member are simulated to verify the system. For the evaluation of springback accuracy practically, all conditions including boundary conditions for springback analysis and inspection conditions for dimensional accuracy are applied. The springback results of simulations show good agreement with the experiments.

  • Online or sequential learning is one of the most basic and powerful method to train neuron network, and it has been widely used in disease detection, weather prediction and other realistic classification problem. At present, there are many algorithms in this area, such as MRAN, GAP-RBFN, OS-ELM, SVM and SMC-RBF. Among them, SMC-RBF has the best performance; it has less number of hidden neurons, and best efficiency. However, all the existing algorithms use signal normal distribution as kernel function, which means the output of the kernel function is same at the different direction. In this paper, we use multi-variable normal distribution as kernel function, and derive EKF learning formulas for multi-variable normal distribution kernel function. From the result of the experience, we can deduct that the proposed method has better efficiency performance, and not sensitive to the data sequence.

  • A MultiSIM software is very friendly tool that analysis of electronic circuits. The integrated capture and simulation is much easier to use and provides features that currently meet or exceed those of another capture and simulation tools. And actual hardware use the NI ELVIS to easily and quickly measure circuits and comparison and analysis of simulated actual data. In this paper, we introduce a combination of MultiSIM, the NI ELVIS, and NI LabVIEW and this combination gives to college and university a comprehensive, hands-on experience throughout the entire educational cycle.

  • In the multi-pass shape drawing process, it is important to design the intermediate dies for producing sound products. Up to now, the design of the intermediate dies is mainly carried out by the industrial experts based on their experience. In this study, a design program was developed to design the intermediate dies for multi-pass shape drawing process. The program was programmed by using VisualLISP. In this program the intermediate dies can be designed by using the initial material shape and the final product shape. In order to verify the effectiveness, the program was applied to design the intermediate dies of multi-pass shape drawing for producing four teeth spline and gun slide. Finally, FE analysis and shape drawing experiment were performed to verify the effectiveness of the designed intermediate dies. As a result, it was possible to produce the drawn products with the required dimensional accuracy.

An Offloading Strategy for Multi-User Energy Consumption Optimization in Multi-MEC Scene

  • Mobile edge computing (MEC) is capable of providing services to smart devices nearby through radio access networks and thus improving service experience of users. In this paper, an offloading strategy for the joint optimization of computing and communication resources in multi-user and multi-MEC overlapping scene was proposed. In addition, under the condition that wireless transmission resources and MEC computing resources were limited and task completion delay was within the maximum tolerance time, the optimization problem of minimizing energy consumption of all users was created, which was then further divided into two subproblems, i.e. offloading strategy and resource allocation. These two subproblems were then solved by the game theory and Lagrangian function to obtain the optimal task offloading strategy and resource allocation plan, and the Nash equilibrium of user offloading strategy games and convex optimization of resource allocation were proved. The simulation results showed that the proposed algorithm could effectively reduce the energy consumption of users.

  • Facing the challenges of urban form and space quality in a high-density environment, the paper puts forward the development trend of three-dimensional and multi-functional design for an urban high-rise complex, and analyzes the design methods of establishing an urban landmark, including multi-functional composition, three-dimensional space integration, three-dimensional traffic organization and energy flow programming. Meanwhile, combined with the specific design case of Yiwu World Trade Center, the practical experience of designing a high-rise complex in China's medium-sized cities is analyzed.

  • This study proposes collaboration based multi-user interaction to provide improved presence and satisfying experience to multiple HMD users in immersive virtual reality. The core of the proposed multi-user interaction is to present the direction in which HMD users in virtual reality environment can interact through communication and collaboration with each other based on their separate roles and behaviors. Each user in the virtual collaborative environment uses a hand to interact with a virtual environment or virtual objects. Based on the basic structure, this study designs methods (synchronization and communication) that can be achieved a common goal together through communication and collaboration. Then, this study creates a virtual reality application of arcade genre that considers communication and collaboration in order to verify whether the proposed multi-user interaction provides improved presence and satisfaction experience. And, the survey experiments are conducted for participants. Through these processes, it is confirmed that the interaction in the proposed immersive virtual collaborative environments provide the presence and experience that is satisfactory to all users.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the multi-modal interaction system. This system provides realistic and an immersive experience through multi-modal interaction. The system recognizes user behavior, intention, and attention, which overcomes the limitations of uni-modal interaction. The multi-modal interaction system is based upon gesture interaction methods, intuitive gesture interaction and attention evaluation technology. The gesture interaction methods were based on the sensors that were selected to analyze the accuracy of the 3-D gesture recognition technology using meta-analysis. The elements of intuitive gesture interaction were reflected through the results of experiments. The attention evaluation technology was developed by the physiological signal analysis. This system is divided into 3 modules; a motion cognitive system, an eye gaze detecting system, and a bio-reaction sensing system. The first module is the motion cognitive system which uses the accelerator sensor and flexible sensors to recognize hand and finger movements of the user. The second module is an eye gaze detecting system that detects pupil movements and reactions. The final module consists of a bio-reaction sensing system or attention evaluating system which tracks cardiovascular and skin temperature reactions. This study will be used for the development of realistic digital entertainment technology.

  • Objectives: This study identified a multicultural families and households youth targeting adolescents drinking behavior and sexual status, and alcohol problems and gender analyzes and the relevance of the cup and behavior. Methods: This study analysed drinking problem and sexual behavior among adolescents of multi-cultural and general families which is based on the primitive data from the Ninth Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey, 2013. All analysis were conducted using SPSS version 18. Results: Multicultural family adolescents showed significantly higher in lifetime's drinking experience, beginning age of drinking, binge drinking, CRAFFT and sex experience than general family adolescents. Conclusions: Therefore the result of this study suggests that families, schools and society should perceive and solve the problem concerning the drinking behavior and sex experience of the multicultural familiy adolescents.

Effects of Tourists' Psychic Distance on Novelty Experience and Satisfaction (관광객의 심리적 거리가 신기성경험과 만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is multi-faceted. Firstly, it is to examine the perceived differences in novelty experience, psychic distance, and satisfaction among Japanese, Chinese, and American tourists visiting Korea. Secondly, it is to investigate the effects of novelty experience on their overall satisfaction in Korea. Lastly, this study attempts to examine the role of psychic distance on the level of perceived novelty experience in Korea. A survey was conducted to 307 international tourists departing Korea at the In-Cheon International Airport. The results show that there is a significant difference in the perceived psychic distance, novelty experience, and overall satisfaction in Korea among Japanese, Chinese, and American tourists. Also, there is a significant effect of novelty experience on tourist overall satisfaction. The results further reveal that the degree of psychic distance is a significant determinant of the perceived novelty experience, which supports the effectiveness of psychic distance concept in predicting the novelty experience. The results of this study make a significant contribution to advancing our understanding of tourist behavior through the re-constructed concept of novelty.
