다차원스펙트럼해석을 이용한 소음원의 검출 (Identification of noise source by multi-dimensional spectral analysis)

  • 최근 각종 분야에서 환경보전이 문제화되고 있으며 소음제어문제에 많은 관심을 불러일으키고 있다. 이러한 소음문제를 해결하기 위해서는 소음을 발생하는 기계 혹은 장치에 대책을 세우고, 소음을 억제하는 것이 무엇보다도 가장 이상적이라고 할 수 있다. 일반적으로 각종 플랜트, 선박, 차량기기 등은 많은 소음원을 가지고 있으며 소음문제는 먼저 문제가 되는 곳에 대책을 세워 발생원의 검출, 즉 각 발생원으로부터 기여량을 파악하는데 있다. 각 발생원의 기여량을 정확하게 파악할 수 있다면 적절하고 경제적인 대책을 수립하는데 도움이 된다. 장래에는 소음 발생원의 검출은 시행 착오적인 수법에 의해 행하여졌지만 최근 수년간에 있어서 전자계산기에 의한 시계열 데이터처리기술의 진보에 따라서 복잡한 소음예측정데이터에 포함되어 있는 정보를 추출하여 이용할 수 있도록 되었다. 본 해설에서는 복잡한 소음원해석에 다차원스펙트럼해석을 이용한 기여량추정법을 실제로 소음문제에 적용할 수 있는 기본적이고 구체적인 컴퓨터그포그 램작성요령에 대해서 시술하고자 한다.

Photogrammetry 기법을 활용한 MSC 설치면의 정밀 측정

  • 사진측량법(Photogrammetry)는 서로 다른 촬영각을 가지는 다수의 2차원 이미지로부터 대상물의 정밀한 3차원 형상을 얻어내는 기법이다. 본 연구에서는 사진측량법을 활용하여 다목적 실용위성 2호 비행모델 하부 탑재체 플랫폼(Low Payload Platform)의 고해상도 카메라 접합면에 대한 편평도(Flatness) 측정 작업을 수행하였으며, 정밀하게 교정된 2개의 스케일바(Scale Bar)를 사용하여 절대적인 길이 값을 3차원 모델에 부과함과 동시에 측정정확도를 계산하여 내었다. 또한 측정된 편평도 결과는 고해상도 카메라 납품 업체에서 제시한 편평도 요구조건과 비교되었다.

  • The method is introduced for estimating the noise source contribution on the noise of PDP TV in a multiple-input system where the input sources may be coherent with each other. By the coherence function method, it is found that the biggest part of the noise source in the PDP TV noise is generated by the PCB boards which consume high power and produce high heat. This analysis is modeled as three-input/single-output system because the noise is generated by three main boards, X-board, Y-board, SMPS that are located close to each other. The coherence function method is proved to be useful tool for identifying of noise source. In this study, Transfer Path Analysis using MDSA is implemented to determine the quantitative noise contribution of each board for PDP TV with the rear case closed and with the rear case open. And the possibility of noise reduction is confirmed through the experimental method that isolates the most contributing board by adding sound-absorbing materials to it.

By coherence function method, it is found that the biggest part of the noise source in the road noise is generated by structural vibration on the mechanical-acoustic transfer functions of vehicles. This analysis is modeled as four input/single output system because the noise is generated with four wheels that mechanism of the road noise is very complicated. The coherence function method is proved to be useful tool for identifying of noise source. The overall levels of the interior noise be coherence function method are compared with those measured and calculated by the frequency response function approach using mechanical excitation test. The experimental results have shown a good agreement with the results calculated by the coherence function method when the input sources are coherent strongly each other. The estimation of the road noise indicates that significant coherent can be achieved in the vehicle interior noise.

  • Multi-band photometry provides an advantage in being able to perform taxonomic classification analysis on a large number of asteroids in a much shorter period of time than spectroscopy. We observed main-belt asteroids using Korea Microlensing Telescope Network (KMTNet) in CTIO during the summer seasons in the southern hemisphere, mostly in December 2015, 2016 and 2017 with two visible photometric systems, SDSS (g, r, i, and z), and Johnson-Cousins (B, V, R, and I). Targets were selected for the asteroids which had already been classified based on Bus-Binzel taxonomy (Bus & Binzel, 2002) and DeMeo taxonomy (DeMeo et al. 2009). Not only the targets but also numerous serendipitously observed asteroids were identified. In summary, 6817 and 5456 known objects, including 307 and 233 already classified asteroids were observed with SDSS and Johnson-Cousins systems, respectively. Using principal component analysis, the three major asteroid complexes and a class, S-, C-, and X-complexes and V class are found to be well separated in the principal component plane (spectral slope and 1 micron absorption depth) with both filter systems. We will present and discuss the results of our newly proposed three-dimensional color taxonomy for asteroids using the whole dataset (Roh et al., to be submitted).

스펙트로그램을 이용한 내전형 연축성 발성 장애와 근긴장성 발성 장애의 감별 (Differentiation of Adductor-Type Spasmodic Dysphonia from Muscle Tension Dysphonia Using Spectrogram)

  • Background and Objectives : Adductor type spasmodic dysphonia (ADSD) is neurogenic disorder and focal laryngeal dystonia, while muscle tension dysphonia (MTD) is caused by functional voice disorder. Both ADSD and MTD may be associated with excessive supraglottic contraction and compensation, resulting in a strained voice quality with spastic voice breaks. The aim of this study was to determine the utility of spectrogram analysis in the differentiation of ADSD from MTD. Materials and Methods : From 2015 through 2017, 17 patients of ADSD and 20 of MTD, underwent acoustic recording and phonatory function studies, were enrolled. Jitter (frequency perturbation), Shimmer (amplitude perturbation) were obtained using MDVP (Multi-dimensional Voice Program) and GRBAS scale was used for perceptual evaluation. The two speech therapist evaluated a wide band (11,250 Hz) spectrogram by blind test using 4 scales (0-3 point) for four spectral findings, abrupt voice breaks, irregular wide spaced vertical striations, well defined formants and high frequency spectral noise. Results : Jitter, Shimmer and GRBAS were not found different between two groups with no significant correlation (p>0.05). Abrupt voice breaks and irregular wide spaced vertical striations of ADSD were significantly higher than those of MTD with strong correlation (p<0.01). High frequency spectral noise of MTD were higher than those of ADSD with strong correlation (p<0.01). Well defined formants were not found different between two groups. Conclusion : The wide band spectrograms provided visual perceptual information can differentiate ADSD from MTD. Spectrogram analysis is a useful diagnostic tool for differentiating ADSD from MTD where perceptual analysis and clinical evaluation alone are insufficient.

기여도 함수 기법에 의한 차량 시트의 래틀 노이즈 규명 (Evaluation of Vehicle Seat Rattle Noise Using Coherence Function Technique)

  • Recently, customers have been concerned about vehicle NVH depending on vehicle designing and manufacturing technologies development. In choosing vehicle, vehicle NVH is becoming the most important factor to customers. Especially, a seat is the final stage of vibration transfer path to passengers from all sources of vibration like engine, transmission and etc. And seat is the nearest component from driver's ear. For this reason, seat is the most important component that directly related to ride comfort for passengers. And driver can be influenced sensitively by BSR caused by seat. Thus, evaluating the vibration characteristics of vehicle seat and BSR caused by vehicle seat is necessary to reduce the seat BSR. The rattle noise occurred from seat has evaluated through sound source visualization and multi-dimensional spectral analysis - coherence function technique in this paper. Vibration characteristics of the seat has verified through modal test.

윈도우즈 운영체제를 중심으로 한 경고음의 감성공학적 설계 (Affective Design of Warning Sounds used in Windows Operating Systems)

  • In order to properly design warning sounds that are affectively suitable to computer users, warning sounds used in Windows operating system were analyzed in terms of their sound properties; frequency band, spectral characteristics and physical intensity. A total of 36 warning sounds (3*4*3) were generated and tested with respect to three experimental variables. Among 178 collected affective adjectives that are related to hearing and sounds, seven representative affective adjectives were abstracted by statistical grouping techniques. In the experiment, subjective preference tests were performed for the 36 warning sounds according to the seven affective factors. From the result, the affective factors were again grouped into three major factors and the 60dB boost-type warning sounds at the low frequency band were, in general, the most preferred. followed by the 70dB cut-type sounds at the middle frequency band. These warning sounds have a characteristic of boost power spectrum below 1000Hz frequency band and received good scores on simplicity, clarity and accurateness.

  • Caliper intergrated Electric Parking Brake (EPB) is an automatic parking brake system, attached to rear caliper. Because EPB uses luxury vehicles recently, the drivers of vehicles are sensitive to the EPB noise. EPB is operated by the motor and gear, so noise is generated by motor and gear. In order to reduce noise, One of EPB manufacturers uses helical gear and changes the shape of EPB housing. But these methods are not optimized for reduction of interior noise. There are many noise transfer paths into vehicle interior and it is difficult to identify the noise sources. Therefore, in this study, we performed contribution analysis and modal testing in the vehicle system. It is possible to distinguish between air-borne noise and structure-borne noise in the vehicle interior noise by comparing interior noise peak with resonance mode map.
