  • This paper presents the duplex controller operated as master slave for Self Excited Static Type excitation system and the results of operation for duplex digital excitation system. Software is made up duplex multi-tasking control algorithm which is based on VxWorks(real-time OS), preprocessing algorithm for input-output signal, BSP & Device Driver for interfacing hardware and software, and OIS(Operator Interface Station) program, HMI S/W. Master controller and slave controller intercommunicate dominant data to minimize bump when controller switchover from master to slave occurs. Communication between master controller and slave controller is duplicated and communication between OIS and controller is duplicated.   • ACE2000 MPLS시스템에서 MPLS 정합모듈은 ATM 정합모듈과 패킷 포워딩을 수행하는 HFMA(High performance Forwarding Engine and VC Merging board Assembly)모듈로 구성된다. MPLS 정합모듈에서 물리층으로 입력되는 셀은 HFMA의 송신 SAR칩(RSAR)에서 패킷으로 조립된 후 IP룩업 제어기에서 패킷 포워딩을 수행한다. 포워딩된 패킷은 ATM 계층으로 전달되기 위해 수신 SAR칩(TSAR)에서 셀로 다시 세그먼트된 후 ATM 셀 스위치로 전송하기 위해 ALMA(ATM Layer Module Assembly)로 전달된다. MPLS 정합모듈을 ATM 정합보듈로 이용할 때, ALMA는 직접 물리층 보드와 UTOPIA Leve12 인터페이스로 연결되며, 이때 ALMA는 Master Mode로 동작하게 된다 또한 MPLS 정합모듈에서 HFMA TSAR도 Master Mode로 동작하게 된다. 따라서 2개의 Master 모드 사이에서 인터페이스 역할을 수행할 수 있는 Slave 모드의 UTOPIA-L2 Controller가 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 Multi-Ports를 지원할 수 있는 UTOPIA-L2 Controller의 구조 및 셀 제어방법에 대해 고찰해본다.

  • We introduce a piece of special-purpose equipment for responding to disasters that has a dual-arm manipulator consisting of six-axis multi joints, and a master-slave operating system controlled by a wearable joystick for intuitive and convenient operation. However, due to the complexity and diversity of a disaster environment, training and suitable training means are needed to improve the interaction between the driver and equipment. Therefore, in this paper, a system that can improve the operator's immersion in the training simulation is proposes, this system is implemented in a virtual environment. The implemented system consists of a cabin installed with the master-slave operation system, a motion platform, visual and sound systems, as well as a real-time simulation device. This whole system was completed by applying various techniques such as a statistical mapping method, inverse kinematics, and a real-time physical model. Then, the implemented system was evaluated from a point of view of the appropriateness of the mapping method, inverse kinematics, the feasibility for real-time simulations of the physical environment through some task mode.

  • A tension control strategy for a multi-span web transport system is proposed. This strategy is developed by using the tension transfer phenomena in multi-span systems. The performance of this control strategy is compared with that of an existing control strategy through a computer simulation. A real-time software is designed based on the proposed tension control stration of master speed drive in tension control is demonstrated.

  • Motion controllers are essential components for operating industrial equipments. Compared with general industrial controllers, motion controllers allow motion control requiring greater speed and precision. This paper presents a method for controlling multi-axes motors via industrial networks. To achieve a line or arc interpolation, the master system delivers instructions to slave systems connected to the network. The network instruction transmitted from the master controller is re-interpolated by the individual slaves through sub-interpolators. The re-interpolated feedrate information is transmitted to the motion control loop in which the current position and the reference position are then calculated. In this way, the interpolation driving between control units is achieved via industrial networks.

다축 구동 시스템의 정밀 위치동기 제어(II) (High precision position synchronous control in a multi-axes driving system (II))

  • In this paper, a new method of position synchronizing control is proposed for multi-axes driving system. The proposed position synchronizing control system is constituted with speed and synchronizing controller. The speed controller is aimed at the following to speed reference. Furthermore, it is designed to guarantee low sensitivity under some disturbance as well as robustness against model uncertainties using $H_{\infty}$technique. The synchronizing controller is designed to keep minimizing the position error using PID control law which is considered to reduce the dimension of transfer function in the control system. Especially, the proposed method can be easily conducted by controlling only slave axis speed, because it, has variable structure which is decided to master and slave axis by the sign of synchronizing error. Therfore, the master axis which is smaller influenced than another axes by disturbance can be controlled without reducing or increasing its speed for precise position synchronization. The effectiveness of the proposed method is sucessfully confirmed through many experiments.s.

  • 본 논문에서는 군집간 제어를 위한 이동용 로봇제작과 로봇의 좌표인식, 방향을 찾기 위하여 GPS(Global Positioning System)수신 모듈과 Bluetooth송 수신기를 사용하였다. 실험에 쓰인 모든 이동용 로봇에 GPS수신기와 Bluetooth 송 수신기를 장착하고, GPS 수신기로부터 받은 blaster-이동로봇의 위치좌표를 Bluetooth통신 영역 내에 있는 모든 이동로봇에게 보내면 각 Slave-이동로봇은 Master이동로봇으로부터 받은 위치 좌표를 이용하여 blaster-이동로봇을 중심으로 상대적인 위치, 거리 유지, 진행방향을 계산한다. Master-이동로봇과 Slave-이동로봇 간의 실시간 통신과 일정거리를 유지함으로써 군집간 제어를 할 수 있다.

  • This paper describes the methodology of connecting MASTER (Multi-purpose Analyzer for Static and Transient Effects of Reactors) to simulator system, system configuration, and previous test. The actual simulator environment for Youngkwang Unit1 has been developed. It is impossible for the simulator server to execute MASTER code by limitation of computer performance. So, environment of distributed system was developed, and it had a synchronization task. As MASTER and simulator module should be synchronized in different device, the connection of communication was tested and verified.

  • 본 논문은 협력작업을 수행하는 다중로보트의 동작결정을 지원하는 그래픽 시뮬레이션 시스템을 제안하였으며, 다중로보트 협력시스템을 위한 시뮬레이션 소프트웨어의 구성을 위하여 두가지의 문제를 제시하였다. 첫째, 다중로보트의 동작은 원하는 대상물의 경로와 대상물과의 고정관계를 만족하는 조건식을 이용하여 구하였으며, 다양하게 변하는 대상물의 경로를 이루어내는 다중로보트의 동작을 알아내기 위하여 한 대의 주 로보트의 동작을 이용하는 주-종방식 보다 로보트들의 동작 수정이 용이한 대상물의 경로를 이용하는 방식을 채택하였다. 또 하나의 문제는 로보트시스템의 환경변화에 대한 적응력을 높이고 소프트웨어 개발 부담을 줄이기 위한 방법으로 객체지향 프로그래밍 기법을 이용한 로보트 응용 프로그래밍 환경의 기본적인 객체들을 제시하였다. 다중로보트 시스템에 적용된 객체지향 프로그래밍 기법은 소프트웨어의 신뢰성과 재사용성 및 확장성 등의 장점들을 제공하며, 또한 로보트 응용 프로그래밍의 다양한 요구에 대응하기 위한 구조적 개념을 제공한다.

  • We have designed X-ray detection system and multi-channel data acquisition system for Spiral CT application. X-ray detection system consists of scintillator and photodiode. Scintillator converts X-ray into visible light. Photodiode converts visible light into electrical signal. The multi-channel data acquisition system consists of analog, digital, master and backplane board. Analog board detects electrical signal and amplifies signal by 140dB. Digital board consists of MUX(Multiplex) which routes multi-channel analog signal to preamplifier, and ADC(Analog to Digital Converter) which converts analog signal into digital signal. Master board supplies the synchronized clock and transmits the digital data to image reconstructor. Backplane provides electrical power, analog output and clock signal. The system converts the projected X-ray signal over the detector array with large gain, samples the data in each channel sequentially, and the sampled data are transmitted to host computer in a given time frame. To meet the timing limitation, this system is very flexible since it is implemented by FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array). This system must have a high-speed operation with low noise and high SNR(signal to noise ratio), wide dynamic range to get a high resolution image.
