In this paper, we address the problem of controlling an end-effector to track and grab a moving target using the visual servoing technique. A visual servo mechanism based on the image-based servoing principle, is proposed by using visual feedback to control an end-effector without calibrated robot and camera models. Firstly, we consider the control problem as a nonlinear least squares optimization and update the joint angles through the Taylor Series Expansion. And to track a moving target in real time, the Jacobian estimation scheme(Dynamic Broyden's Method) is used to estimate the combined robot and image Jacobian. Using this algorithm, we can drive the objective function value to a neighborhood of zero. To show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, simulation results for a six degree of freedom robot are presented.
A Robot vision system with a visual skill so as take information for arbitrary target or object has been applied to auto-inspection and assembling system. It catches the moving target with the manipulator by using the information from the vision system. The robot needs some information where the moving object will place after certain time. A camera is fixed on a robot manipulator, not on the fixed support outside of the robot. It secures wider working area than the fixed camera, and it dedicates to auto scanning of the object. It computes some information on the object center, angle and speed by vision data, and can guess grabbing spot by arriving time. When the location ...

With the recent the use of spatio-temporal data mining which can extract various knowledge such as movement patterns of moving objects in history data of moving object gets increasing. However, the existing movement pattern extraction methods create lots of candidate movement patterns when the minimum support is low. Therefore, in this paper, we suggest the STMPE(Spatio-Temporal Movement Pattern Extraction) algorithm in order to efficiently extract movement patterns of moving objects from the large capacity of spatio-temporal data. The STMPE algorithm generalizes spatio-temporal and minimizes the use of memory. Because it produces and keeps short-term movement patterns, the frequency of database scan can be minimized. The STMPE algorithm shows more excellent performance than other movement pattern extraction algorithms with time information when the minimum support decreases, the number of moving objects increases, and the number of time division increases.
The dynamic behavior of an Euler beam with multiple point constraints traversed by a moving concentrated mass, a "moving-force moving-mass" problem, is analyzed and compared with the corresponding simplified "moving-force" problem. The equation of motion in matrix form is formulated using Lagrangian approach and the assumed mode method. The effects of the presence of intermediate point constraints in reducing the fluctuation of the contact force between the mass and the beam and the possible separation of the mass from the beam are investigated. The equation of motion and the numerical results are expressed in dimensionless form. The numerical results presented are therefore applicable for a large combination of system parameters.

We proposes a method for improving the identification and tracking of the moving objects in intelligent video surveillance system. The proposed method consists of 3 parts: object detection, object recognition, and object tracking. First of all, we use a GMM(Gaussian Mixture Model) to eliminate the background, and extract the moving object. Next, we propose a labeling technique forrecognition of the moving object. and the method for identifying the recognized object by using the optical flow and EMD algorithm. Lastly, we proposes method to track the location of the identified moving object regions by using location information of moving objects and Kalman filter. Finally, we demonstrate the feasibility and applicability of the proposed algorithms through some experiments.
As diverse researches are working about location acquisition, storing method, data modeling and query processing of moving objects, the moving object database systems, which can gain, store and manage location information and query processing, are tuning up. As the mobile device is moving but have constraints, the convenience user interface for spatio-temporal query and viewing query result needs. In this paper, we designed user Interface for spatio-temporal query related moving objects, viewing query result, tracing current and past location of those and monitoring. And we designed system for implementation of these interfaces.
Flight of an autonomous unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) generally consists of four steps; take-off, ascent, descent, and finally landing. Among them, autonomous landing is a challenging task due to high risks and reliability problem. In case the landing site where the UAV is supposed to land is moving or oscillating, the situation becomes more unpredictable and it is far more difficult than landing on a stationary site. For these reasons, the accurate and precise control is required for an autonomous landing system of a UAV on top of a moving vehicle which is rolling or oscillating while moving. In this paper, a vision-only based landing algorithm using dynamic gimbal control is proposed. The conventional camera systems which are applied to the previous studies are fixed as downward facing or forward facing. The main disadvantage of these system is a narrow field of view (FOV). By controlling the gimbal to track the target dynamically, this problem can be ameliorated. Furthermore, the system helps the UAV follow the target faster than using only a fixed camera. With the artificial tag on a landing pad, the relative position and orientation of the UAV are acquired, and those estimated poses are used for gimbal control and UAV control for safe and stable landing on a moving vehicle. The outdoor experimental results show that this vision-based algorithm performs fairly well and can be applied to real situations.

DBS offers actual services to mass-media and communication system of very broad region in information society. Especially, the DBS is the only system to access TV broadcasting service on a sailing ship. But the ship's DBS receiver is required a complex antenna tracking system because ships are under complex moving such as pitch, roll, and yaw etc. This study is motivated to develop a tracking antenna system to receive the koreasat on small silo ship. Therefore, this system is researched to small size, light weight, simple operation, and low cost of the product. The mount structure have been a compact size and easy operation to the Az/El 2-axis type which is operated by step motor. And it is very useful on a ship in the around sea of korean peninsula. The antenna has a plate type of micro-strip array, and is a domestic production. The vibration sensor is selected to gyro sensor of ultra-sonic rate type for ship's moving control. Tracking method is used the step-tracking algorithm, and the ship's moving compensation is adapted to the closed loop control method by ship's moving detection of gyro sensor. Tracking test is operated by the ship's moving simulator, we examined the actual receiving state on sailing shipboard in the near sea of korean peninsular.
In this Paper, it has a proposal of the RFID(RFID : Radio Frequency Identification) system for high-speed recognition between the tag attached a mobile object moving high-speed and the static reader. It used 13.56MHz frequency at ISM band, and designed a reader in order to recognize a mobile object moving high-speed. It will be expected that RFID system enables a smooth railway signal control applying in railway system through the cyclic loop antenna.
In [1, 2], we studied the string-like system with time-varying delay. Unlike the string system, the plate system must consider both longitudinal and transverse strains. First, we consider the physical phenomenon of an axially moving plate concerning kinetic energy, potential energy, and work dones. By the energy conservation law in physics, we have a nonlinear plate-like system with internal time delay.
