A modified model was developed for solute transport in porous media that can consider the movement of an LNAPL above the water table. From the results of sensitivity analyses with and without considering LNAPL movement, there are some differences according to the hydraulic gradient, the quantity of oil leakage and dispersivity. The mean deviation between the model in this study and a conventional model without LNAPL movement increases as the hydraulic gradient decreases and the quantity of oil leakage increases. Variation of dispersivity has no influence on the magnitude of the mean deviation. However, the spatial distribution of the deviation between the two models is wider as dispersivity increases. Furthermore, groundwater is at high risk of contamination in the vertical direction in the case that transverse dispersion value is large. A conventional model underestimates the concentration of solute in an aquifer where the movement of an LNAPL cannot be negligible: Based on the study results, it is important to understand how fast the LNAPL moves on the water table for realistic prediction of solute transport in an aquifer with the movable LNAPL on the water table.

Rain-wind induced cable vibration can cause serious problems in cable-stayed bridge. External dampers attached to the cables have become widely accepted as an effective means for stay-cable vibration suppression. For very long stay-cables, however, such damper systems are rendered ineffective, as the dampers need be attached near the end of cables for aesthetic reasons. A recent study by the authors proposed that a movable anchorage system is replaced direct fixed support of the cable with a support through a bearing and damper. This paper extends the previous work by adding active control system to mitigate the cable vibration. The response of a cable with the proposed active control system is obtained and then compared to those of the cable with and without an external passive damper. The results show that the active control system can provide superior protection than the passive control system for a cable vibration.

The path-finding algorithm refers to an algorithm for navigating the route order from the current position to the destination in a virtual world in a game. The conventional path-finding algorithm performs graph search based on cost such as A-Star and Dijkstra. A-Star and Dijkstra require movable node and edge data in the world map, so it is difficult to apply online games with lots of map data. In this paper, we provide a Heuristic-based Genetic Algorithm Path-finding(HGAP) using Genetic Algorithm(GA). Genetic Algorithm is a path-finding algorithm applicable to game with variable environment and lots of map data. It seek solutions through mating, crossing, mutation and evolutionary operations without the map data. The proposed algorithm is based on Binary-Coded Genetic Algorithm and searches for a path by performing a heuristic operation that estimates a path to a destination to arrive at a destination more quickly.

The author's thesis is that the types used for the large-sized characters seen in the two metal type-printed books "Kyosik chubopop karyong"(交食推步法假令) and "Yok-hak kemong yohae"(易學啓蒙要解) both printed in 1458 belong to a new metal font hitherto unnamed. The former book was compiled by Yi Sun-ji(李純之) and Kim Sok-je(金石梯) in January of 1458 in accordance to King Sejo's order. A new font was created to be used for the large-sized characters of the book. Several. months after completion of the compilation, the book was printed with mixed use of the new font and the Kabin-ja(甲寅字) for medium- and small-sized characters. The latter book had been written by King Sejo before his accession to the throne. Ascending the throne the king had his scholar-subjects examine the writing to correct it where necessary. The examination was completed in July of 1458 and printing was immediately done with the two fonts the above-mentioned, new font for the large-sized letters and the Kabin-ja for the medium- and small-sized ones. The books were granted to the scholar-subjects and the students of the Sung Kyun Kwan Academy as a royal gift. The matrix seems to have been modeled after the calligraphy of King Sejo. Because the new font was created to print the large-sized letters of the two books in 1458, it may be proper to name it "Muin-ja" using the "kanji"(干支) of the year. The author is happy to identify and include another font in the list of Korean movable types as a result of the present study.

The aim of this study is to suggest the fitness Avatar model for increasing physical activities in individuals with SCI(spinal cord injury). With the increasing of the disable, the ratio of individuals with SCI is also increasing. Avatar is a movable image that represents a person in a virtual reality environment or in cyberspace. With the expansion of new technology, such as video games and virtual reality, there has been an increase in the interest of using virtual reality in therapy. It is not easy for individuals with SCI to access tho sports facilities due to paraplegia. The increasing physical activities based on virtual reality will be the most innovative and future-oriented approach. First, building a system and establishing a comprehensive support system is essential to activate and spread variety of physical activities for individuals with SCI. Second, providing a appropriate feedback and identifying the effect of intervention will be considered.

In this paper, an anchor design that improves bonding strength uniformity in the silicon-on-glass (SOG) process is presented. The SOG process is widely used in conjunction with electrode-patterned glass substrates as a standard fabrication process for forming high-aspect-ratio movable silicon microstructures in various types of sensors, including inertial and resonant sensors. In the proposed anchor design, a trench separates the silicon-bonded area and the electrode contact area to prevent irregular bonding caused by the protrusion of the electrode layer beyond the glass surface. This technique can be conveniently adopted to almost all devices fabricated by the SOG process without the necessity of additional processes.

The existing market patterns and social structures have been changed according to the trends of digital and informational society of the 21st century. The characteristics of the consumption market is that the balance of power moves from enterprises to consumers. As consumers’ demands are diversified according to life quality enhancement, many products are based on main aspects of human experiences, emotions and values. Standardized functions and services of products cannot capture consumers to a great extent any more. A notable aspect is that consumers want products or services that can oner movable experiences. Future products must appeal to emotion, not to reason of consumers. Now consumers purchase styles, experiences and stories contained in products, not products themselves. That is, the key to decision to purchase products is the satisfaction of emotional values. Users'emotions diversified due to the development of industrial designs demand the development of new designs that can represent new trends of users. User-centered values imply the change of people's purchasing trends. This indicates that there is a need to change physical aspects such as price or functions into individual emotions and characters. In addition, studies are required on design concepts to pursue new emotional values, apart from functional type designs. It is time for designers to suggest initiative and rational directions for this changing era.

The writer reviewed on Chojop and came to conclusions as follows. Symptoms of Chojop is appeared digestive ailment such as belching, nausea, regurgitation of acid, stomachache etc., if being serious, felt oppressed with palpitating in chest and uneasiness at times. In Dangaesimbub written by Chujinhyung, the causes of Chojop were mainly regarded as phlegmatic fire(痰火) and suggested the way of treatment. The causes of Chojop are movable fire with phlegm, insufficiency of blood caused by thinking to excess, and Shinyanghohan(腎陽虛汗) that is piled cold phlegm by voidance and coldness of Renal Yang, but the main cause is brought to a conclusion as phlegmatic fire. The phlegmatic fire is come from being in discord with the spleen and the stomach, or from in harmony between vigor and blood according to essence and vital energy which are disturbed by combined feelings. That is caused by disharmony between inner and outer conditions according to individuals. The distinctive features in shapes of Chojop are revealed to shapes such as manlike woman, womanlike man, wearing darkish or reddish color between two eyebrows, being almond eyed, strong eyebrows, being sunk the upper part of the nose bridge, lots of facial blots, Dam-body, Ki type, Shin type, Birds group, and Yangmyung type. The doctors can prescribe Whadamchungwhatang to Yangmyung type, Yanghyulsamul-tang for patients with strong eyebrows so flourishing blood and vigor, Hyangsapyungwuisan for patients belong to Birds group, Soshikchungul-tang for Ki type, and Palmiwhan for man belonged to Bangkwang-body with voidance and coldness of Renal Yang chiefly.

In this study, we fabricated chemically polymerized PPy and PANi films with different selectivity by controlling dedoping time. And the sensing properties and mechanism of VOCs adsorption to conducting polymers were investigated. Thin sensor had higher sensitivity compared to thick one, and dedoped sensor for 1-minute highest sensitivity. Upon gas absorption, polypyrrole exhibited positive sensitivity while polyaniline had negative sensitivity. PPy film show hydrophilic property and PANi film show hydrophobic property. After the gas absorption, the sensitivity increased as a function of polarity of absorbed molecules. These behaviors are due to the polar molecules absorbed with the movable polaron or free carrier, and then it interrupt or generate the movement of polaron and carrier, and then it changes the conductivity of polymer. We found that conducting polymer sensors are very sensitive to the difference in polarity of gas molecules.

The purpose of this study is to develop the basis data for methods of the plan to make the office space of the psychological environment by survey of preference to users in Department Store. The results are as follows : First, we could know that the space plan has to be considered the privacy and sociality for the psychological environment in office space. Second, we could know that there are efficient methods of space plan to use the cutoff division by partitions, the psychological division by furniture and the sensitive division by material for privacy in office and resting space. For sociality, there are efficient arrangement methods to plan by division type in office space and by opening type in resting space. And it is good method to use by color that is one in esthetical elements. Third, if we considered users, it is good method to use partitions to cutoff from the floor to the ceiling for privacy in office space and to use movable furnitures to cutoff for privacy in resting space. Forth, we could know that there is the difference in methods of space plan to be preferred by user's variables for privacy and sociality in office and resting spaces. Thus, i think that we have to study considering user's variables and types of department store.
