꼬마잠자리(Nannophya pygmaea Rambur: Libellulidae, Odonata) 서식처 복원을 위한 기초연구 (A Preliminary Study on a Restoration of Habitats for Nannophya pygmaea Rambur (Odonata: Libellulidae))

  • 본 연구는 꼬마잠자리 서식처의 자연환경을 조사하고, 생물종의 복원과 유지를 위한 기초자료로 활용하고자 수행하였다. 꼬마잠자리는 잠자리과에 속하는 초소형 잠자리로서 우리나라에서는 멸종위기 보호야생동식물로 분류되어 보호되고 있다. 국내의 서식처는 중남부 일부 지역에 매우 희소하게 분포되어 있는 것으로 알려졌다. 이러한 멸종위기종인 꼬마잠자리의 서식처 복원을 위한 자료수집을 위해 꼬마잠자리의 서식이 확인된 4개 지역 10개 지점의 경관, 서식처 면적, 식생 유형, 수환경, 수원 등을 조사하였다. 조사는 2006년 6월부터 2007년 8월에 걸쳐 이루어졌다. 꼬마잠자리의 서식처는 대부분 산지의 묵논에 위치하고 있었으며, 서식처 면적은 $113.4m^2\sim1,153.1m^2$로 나타났다. 식생은 골풀과 고마리가 우점종으로 나타났으며, 수심은 $2.6\sim7.3cm$ 사이였고, 수온은 $16\sim27.8^{\circ}C$이었다. 꼬마잠자리의 서식처는 고산 습지에 위치하는 것으로 보고된 바 있으나, 조사 결과 해발 고도 $139\sim243m$ 사이의 지역에 서식하고 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 결론적으로 꼬마잠자리의 서식처는 주변이 위요된 육화되기 전의 빈영양화 초기 단계의 묵논과 같은 습지에 복원되어야 하며, 꼬마잠자리는 다른 잠자리보다 환경에 예민한 습성을 가지고 있기 때문에 이러한 사항들을 고려하여 서식처 복원에 접근하는 것이 필요하다.

전국 도시·산지·소하천 돌발홍수예측 시스템 개발 및 정확도 평가 (Development of flood forecasting system on city·mountains·small river area in Korea and assessment of forecast accuracy)

  • 유역 상류의 소규모 산지 유역 또는 도시 배수분구 정도의 도시 유역은 지체시간이 수 십 여분에 불과하기 때문에 우량계만으로는 대응에 필요한 충분한 예측 선행시간을 확보하기 어렵다. 도시 및 소규모 산지 유역에서와 같이 지체시간이 짧은 유역에서 발생하는 돌발홍수는 더 이상 우량계만으로 예보가 불가능하다. 도달시간이 짧은 도시 및 산지에서는 지체시간 외에 강수 예측을 통한 홍수예보 선행시간을 확보하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 한강홍수통제소에서는 강우레이더 강우강도를 초단기 예측 모델인 Mcgill Algorithm for Precipitation-nowcast by Lagrangian Extrapolation(MAPLE) 알고리즘의 입력 자료로 활용하여 초단기 예측 강수 자료를 생산하고 있다. 한국건설기술연구원의 돌발홍수연구센터는 한강홍수통제소에서 생산하고 있는 초단기 예측 강수 자료를 입력 자료로 하여 돌발홍수 예측 시스템을 구축하였고 2019년부터 동네규모의 1시간 전 돌발홍수정보를 제공하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 돌발홍수연구센터에서 구축한 돌발홍수 예측 시스템을 설명하고 2019년도에 발생한 수재해 사례를 분석하여 전국 도시·산지·소하천 돌발홍수 예측 시스템의 예측 정확도를 검증하였다. 돌발홍수 예측 시스템의 정확도 검증에는 총 31개의 수재해 사례를 적용하였고 예측 정확도는 Probability of Detection (POD) 기준으로 90.3%로 매우 높게 나타났다.

누리장나무차가 항고혈압에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Clerodendron trichotomum Thunberg tea on anti-hypertension)

  • Objectives : Clerodendron trichotomumThunberg grows wild fields and mountains in South Korea and China. They have been used for anti-hypertension disease. This study was performed in order to observe the effects ofClerodendron trichotomumThunberg tea on anti-hypertension.Methods : For the study ofClerodendron trichotomumThunberg tea, we had divided male SHR (Spontaneously Hypertensive Rat) to ten groups. Control group is SHR. The treatment group is SHR which is administered tea extract at dose of 200 mg/kg/day and 500 mg/kg/day orally for 8 weeks. We measured systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, number of pulse, body weight, total cholesterol and triglyceride from blood serum.Results : The level of systolic and diastolic blood pressure were significantly decreased by 12.5% and 44.9% inClerodendron trichotomumThunberg tea groups than control group. Heart rate ofClerodendron trichotomumThunberg tea groups, 24.5%, was significantly lower than control group. We found that treatment with the water extract fromClerodendron trichotomumThunberg leave and flower significantly decreased weight of body, total cholesterol and triglyceride to 20.4% and 27.7% compared to untreated control group, significantly (P< 0.05).Conclusions : These results suggest that leaf and flower tea ofClerodendron trichotomumThunberg tea is effective in prevention and treatment of hypertension and decreasing cholesterol. Long term consumption ofClerodendron trichotomumThunberg leaf and flower tea can be help in lowering high systolic and blood diastolic pressure, heart rate and blood serum in SHR.

곡류단절지에 입지한 마을의 경관특성 -삼지마을을 사례로- (The Landscape Characteristics of Village Located in the Meander cut-off Area -The Case of Samji Village-)

  • This study seeks what kind of factors influence to locate dwellings and to establish scenic spots in nature by a case study focused on a meandering stream. The study specially concentrates on the interrelationship between both residences and beautiful sceneries and a meander cut-off-area that reveals a special topographical characteristics, located at Samji village in Youngyang-eup, Youngyang-gun, Koungsangbuk-do. The meander cut-off area, developed at the middle or upper reaches of a river, often makes up specific landscapes such as precipitous cliffs, sheer cliffs and caves. And the area where is specially created by sudden change of flow due to erosion ;perceived by the cut surface to be the most beautiful scenic spot. These beautiful landscapes were used to be called as Dae, Dam or Gul and managed by Confucian scholars who enjoy refined taste and devote themselves to the study in nature. Moreover, the Ku-Hado-literary means the area of ex-flow-made the scholars' lving with a well prepared basis for agriculture where supplied a cornucopia of organic matters and water. The merit of agriculture made it possible that the scholars became economically independent, and the fact might be the essential point why the meander cut-off area took noticed. Actually, Cho-family has been in Smaji Village for generations, producing a large number of scholars and keeping the actual power of the region. The physical shape of the meander cut-off area, cozily surrounded by mountains, is considered as a good place for the dwelling due to the influence of traditional sight of view for location and P'ungsuchiri which is known as Feng Shui in China and geomancy in the western world. It is a fruit in it own way that we could find the ancestors' discernment and wisdom from this study, who have lived their lives adapting themselves to the given natural environment and also utilizing the nature wisely. But this is a current-argued study on the meander cut-off area. Follow-up studies have to be continued about the landscapes of the meander streams and the meander cut-off areas scattered all over the country except Samji Village and draw the characteristics from the comparative analysis.

Long Song Type Classification based on Lyrics

  • Mongolian folk songs are inspired by Mongolian labor songs and are classified into long and short songs. Mongolian long songs have ancient origins, are rich in legends, and are a great source of folklore. So it was inscribed by UNESCO in 2008. Mongolian written literature is formed under the direct influence of oral literature. Mongolian long song has 3 classes: ayzam, suman, and besreg by their lyrics and structure. In ayzam long song, the world perfectly embodies the philosophical nature of world phenomena and the nature of human life. Suman long song has a wide range of topics such as the common way of life, respect for ancestors, respect for fathers, respect for mountains and water, livestock and animal husbandry, as well as the history of Mongolia. Besreg long songs are dominated by commanded and trained characters. In this paper, we proposed a method to classify their 3 types of long songs using machine learning, based on their lyrics structures without semantic information. We collected lyrics of over 80 long songs and extracted 11 features from every single song. The features are the name of a song, number of the verse, number of lines, number of words, general value, double value, elapsed time of verse, elapsed time of 5 words, and the longest elapsed time of 1 word, full text, and type label. In experimental results, our proposed features show on average 78% recognition rates in function type machine learning methods, to classify the ayzam, suman, and besreg classes.

세계중요농업유산(GIAHS) 등재지역 농업유산의 특성 분석 (Analysis on Characteristics of Agricultural Heritage in GIAHS sites)

  • Since FAO introduced the Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems(GIAHS) in 2002, 36 sites of 15 countries so far have been listed on GIAHS. This study aims to find the important agricultural heritages of Korea and to prepare the methods for them to be selected as GIAHS. We have analyzed the proposals of the 36 GIAHS listed in order to study the characteristics of their components of the agricultural heritage which worked for being selected. To analyze the components of the agricultural heritage first, agricultural heritage was classified into 13 types and 42 components in light of GIAHS criteria. Then central themes were set to analyze the relevant contents in the proposals. They were, the type of GIAHS Site, significant agricultural landscape, the agriculture-forestry-fisheries-livestock linkage systems, the multi-layered, inter-cropping, circulation cultivation systems, the soil and water management systems, the conservation of agrobiological diversity and genetic resources, the history of the agricultural heritage, the succession of traditional farming techniques, the cultural diversity and so on. Most GIAHS are located in mountains, grasslands, rivers and coasts, desert than in plains, through which GIAHS assure us that it is the heritage of human challenge to overcome the harsh geographic environment and maintain a livelihood. In these sites the traditional farming techniques are carried on, such as mountain clearings, terraced rice paddies, and burn fields, and the unique irrigation systems and agricultural landscapes are well maintained, and the eco-friendly traditional farming techniques utilizing abundant forest resources and agriculture are well handed down. The origin or home of crop growing, a variety of genetic crop storage, the world's largest crop producer and preserving cultural diversity are also important factors for the selection.

  • 여러가지 반문형을 가진 기름종개는 우리나라의 어디에나 널리 분포하지만 횡반B형과횡반 C형은 영산강과 섬진강에서만 서식하고 있어 주목된다. 이 2형은 반문과 지리적 분포상 차이를 보이면서도 이들의 체장분포, 아가미뚜껑뒤의 친한 흑갈색의 반점, 골질반의 구조, 비늘의 형태는 동일하다. 그러나 반문, 2차성징, 체장분포 및 비늘의 형태상 특징은 본속 기지종과는 분명희 구별된다. 이것은 지리적 격리에 의하여 생긴 고유한 형태로서 원래 동일종 이었던 것이 오랜 세월이 지남에 따라 한때 연결되었으리라고 추측되는 영산강과 섬진강이 각각 독립되므로 양개체군간에 교배가 불가능하기 때문에 반문의 분화가 생긴 것으로 본다.

해동명산도첩에 나타난 영동지역 지형 경관에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Geomorphic Landscape of Yeongdong Area Described in the Haedong Myeongsan Docheop)

  • Silgyeong sansuhwa (Realistic landscape paintings) are drawn in Korea since 17th century. It has characteristics of more realistic description of landscape than painting from previous periods. Kim Hong Do's 'Haedong Myeongsan docheop (The album of paintings of famous mountains in Korea)' has been recognized as fine example of realistic description of geomorphic landscapes. Kim Hong Do and Kim Eung hwan did official travel to Gwandong and Geumgangsan area by order of King Jeongjo in 1788. As a result of that travel they draw about 100 piece of landscape painting. About 60 pieces of the paintings are still remaining. These are open to public by Korea National Museum in 1996. 14 pieces of painting, Daegwanryeong and Gangneung, Gyeongpo-dae, Hohae-jeong, Gahak-jeong, Cheonggan-jeong, Mun-am, Mangyang-jeong, Wolsong-jeong, Neungpa-dae, Naksan-sa, Mureung-gye, Gyejo-gul, and Hyeonjong-am, are analysed in this study. Coastal depositional landforms, like lagoon, sand beach and spit or barriers, erosional forms, like sea stack, sea cliff and sea cave, depicted in the paintings are analysed. In addition, structural landforms, colluvial landform and bedrock incision form by the running water in mountain area were analysed and weathered forms of granite and excursion to karst cave also discussed. It is found that sea arch in the printing destroyed since 1788, though exact position and reason is still unknown. There are strong need for discovery and identification of geomorphic landscape resources, for applied geomorphological studies and for prepare educational materials for non-face-to-face education. It also be emphasized that it can be used of the course work materials for future education using augmented reality and virtual reality technology.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine how the perception of lives and studies in the Joseon Dynasty period, and the concept of its sculptures can be reflected in Korean traditional pavilion place, from the perspective of Nomadism as a western philosophy of this era. Nomadism literally refers to way of life of peoples who do not live continually in the same place but move cyclically searching for temporary centres whose stability depends on the availability of food and water supply or pastures for their livestock. In recent years, the term encompasses three general types: job nomads, digital nomads and ubi-nomads, which represent distinct features of modern society. Its concept implies looking for the new creative possibility through the liberation of desire and the breakaway to another thinking through continuous formation and transformation. Likewise, Korean traditional pavilion is the architecture to take a quick rest while walking in the mountains. This open place thus connects surroundings with people who are allowed to assimilate with nature as well as train their mind by following the law of nature, in order to finally reach the celestial state of mind. Knowing how to see, enjoy and appreciate the arts very close to nature, our ancestors were able to learn aesthetic activities. After recognizing Korean traditional pavilion as the potential place of unification of heaven and men which is Korean scholor's lifestyle and outlook on the world, this study accordingly will identify the value and meaning of Korean traditional architecture according to Nomadism in the occidental point of view.

경상분지 남동부 광상의 분포와 콘트론과의 관계 : 재검토 (Cauldron Subsidence and Ore Mineralization in the Southeastern kyongsang basin: A review)

  • 부산-대구지역에 화산작용의 결과로 형성되어진 구조적 함몰대인 PVD내에 적어도 9개의 칼데라함몰대가 확인되어지며, 거의 7,000km2의 지역을 차지하고 있다. 또한 PVD의 주변부 혹은 재생한 콘트론내의 환상파쇄대나 중앙부에 관입한 심성암 내에 경쟁성이 있는 광상이 배태된고 있다. 이러한 콘드롤 함몰체와 공상의 공간적 분포는 콘트롤이 이지역의 광상분포에 중요한 역할을 했음을 보여주고 있다. 또한, 화산심성암복합체의 성분이 산성일수록 콘트롤 함몰 현상이 더욱 잘 나타내고 있다. 이는 마그마의 휘발성 성분이 콘트롤 함몰과 경제성이 있는 광상을 형성시키는 하나의 요인이었음을 지시하기도 한다. 경상분지에는 칼데라와 이와 관련된 광상이 앞으로 발견된 것이며, 콘트롤 함몰이 광상 형성 중요한 역할을 담당하였음을 입증되어질 것이다.
