Linear모터의 위치 제어 성능 시험을 위한 Dynamometer 개발 (Development of a Linear Motor Dynamometer for Positioning Control Performance Test)

  • Recently linear motor has been used mainly for high speed feeding performance of machine tools. The advantages of linear motor are not only high speed but high accuracy, because it is not required the coupling and ballscrew for converting rotary to liner motion. Before applying in different moving system, the dynamometer is necessary to test the performance. In Korea, the linear motor is producing in a couple of company However, the liner motor dynamometer is not commercialized yet, like as rotary motor dynamometer. In this paper, a linear motor dynamometer is designed and manufactured using a MR damper. The dynamometer system developed in this study could be used for testing the positioning accuracy fur different loading conditions, traction forces, dynamic performance and so on.

  • With the active development of hybrid electric vehicle (HEV), the application of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) has been expanded. As wide driving region of IPMSM for electric vehicle (EV) traction motor is required, many studies are conducted to improve characteristics of a motor in both low and high-speed driving regions. A motor in high-speed driving region generates (produces) large stress to the rotor. Thus, the rotor needs to be designed considering the mechanical safety. Therefore, in this paper, we conducted stress analysis and electromagnetic analysis to determine the centerpost's distance which is considered important during the design of IPMSM for EV traction motor in order to secure mechanical safety and satisfy specifications of output requirement.

  • In recent years, induction motor is applied for several industrial actuatung parts instead of direct current motor because of the robust construction, nonexpensive and maintenance-free actuator etc. and having capability of speed control according to development of power electrounics and microprocessor techniques. In the paper, a microprocessor-based digital control approach for spped control of induction motor system is presented by considering a simple modelling equation as the system expression equation of induction motor and using the self tuning control and torque effdforward control method. As the model equation of the induction motor system, we use a second order differential equation which is well known in the modeling equation is induced form the control theory stand point such tath we can describe usually the motor system connected by inverter, generator and load etc. The effectiveness of the control system composed by the above mentioned design concept is illustrated by the expermental result in the presence of step reference change and generator load variation.

  • This paper is focused on the research of the ultra precision linear motor by using piezo stack actuators. The development of linear motor which can be controlled nano or micro scale is necessary for the precision manufacturing. Self-moving-cell principle is used for the design of linear motor Self-moving-cell linear motor is consisted of three cell structures, and each cell has two shells and one piezo-stack actuator. Each cell can do clamping and moving by two shell structures. The shell structure deformation by piezo stack actuator can move the linear motor by losing the clamping between the shall and guideway. This paper presents the design, manufacturing and test of the motor.

정전유도형모터의 개발을 위한 기초연구 (A Basic Study of Development of Electrostatic Induction Motor)

  • A miniature size electrostatic induction motor has been fabricated and studied parameters Influencing dominantly to the motor speed, such as a voltage and frequency of the 3 phase ac power source supplied to the stator of fabricated motor, the surface resistivity and relative dielectric constant of the rotor surface materials and the concurrently calculated relaxation time constants. It is found that the higher resitivity and/or the higher relative dielectric constant, concurrently the longer relaxation time constant of the rotor surface materials make the motor speed get higher speed. In case of discrete coated rotor surface it is found that the motor speed was increased logarithmically as narrow as width of the discrete coated Ti. And the degree of width of discrete coated Ti to the axial direction of the rotor was 60$^{\circ}$ and 150$^{\circ}$, the motor has got a 125% higher than that at the degree of 0$^{\circ}$.

  • Due to its simple construction, operation steadiness and low cost, claw pole step motor is widely used for OA machine and automobile. This paper deals with analysis fo claw pole motor, especially eyeing to dynamic characteristics. To analyze dynamic characteristics of claw pole step motor, torque development in each angular step of rotor are surveyed and torque equation is drived using permeance method. To adopt the airgap MMF, the magnetic equivalent circuit of the motor is introduced. On the base of the magnetic equivalent circuit, the air gap flux equation is derived. To get a optimum design of the motor, the torque characteristic is studied in variation of coil data and remanence value of permanent magnetic material.

  • In this study, we developed a measuring system utilizing machine vision for measuring the precision of positioning of micro stepping motor. The measuring system equipped with CCD Camera, ring illumination and diffuser measures the repeatability and the hysterisis of a micro stepping motor by means of the pointer attached to the motor directly. With the measuring system, it was possible to measure the precision of the micro stepping motor in the resolution of $50{\mu}m$.

  • In many applications, piezoelectric motor has been used in the areas where excellent controllability, fine position resolution are required or magnetic field noise should be eliminated. However the piezoelectric motor has two major demerits. One is difficulty in maintaining vibration amplitude constantly with temperature rise and wear, and the other is heat generation induced by dielectric and mechanical loss. In this thesis, piezoelectric motor to overcome these problems is proposed. And proposed piezoelectric motor is operated using momentum exchange between bimorph and rotor. To maximize steady state velocity and static torque of proposed motor, the guideline is established using two bimorph models. Then the guideline is partially proved by comparison between simulation and experiment. There was no heat generation in the few hours of experiments.

  • 우주발사체의 아포지 킥 모타에 대한 기초연구를 수행하였다. AKM은 3단형 과학로켓 KSR-III의 3단으로서 개발되었다. 이 고체 모타는 HTPB 계열의 복합제 추진제, 복합재 모타 케이스와 잠입형 노즐을 갖추었다. 고체모타를 체계요구조건에 맞도록 개발하기 위하여 우선 직경 520mm의 완성형을 설계하고 약 60% 크기의 축소형 모타를 먼저 개발, 시험하였다. 축소형 모타의 개발 시험으로 완성형 모타의 개발 타당성을 입증하였다. 2차에 걸친 완성형 지상연소 시험을 수행하였다.

  • In recent years the development of the SCR has made possible the control of the power system. It is one example that the speed control of the induction motor can be done by changing the frequency with the S.C.R. This paper is devoted primarily to a study of the running characteristics of the single phase induction motor through the experimental and theoretical methods when the speed of the motor is controlled by varying the conduction period in current with S.C.R. under the constant frequency. We conclude from the experiments that the adjustment of the phase angle in current is equivalent to the change of the supply voltage to the motor. Therefore, the speed control of the motor such as a fan duty motor is possibly by this methods.
