  • When evaluating acoustic methods for measuring physical parameters in the ocean, economical and technical considerations are paramount. As an indirect method of estimating ocean dynamics, acoustic tomography has advantages over more conventional approaches. It allows the reconstruction of temperature and flow fields from the acoustic impulse time-of-flight measured along the rays propagating from the source to the receiver. However, many problems require complicated and expensive systems. To use the acoustic tomography method to best effect, developing hardware systems with sources and receivers mounted permanently on the sea bottom is crucial. Akulichev et al. presented some experimental results from shallow zones of the World Ocean that served as a motive for developing a multifunction system with acoustic hardware and software. Here we present technical features and the sea test results of the system.

  • In this study, we use data from the 2021 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey to determine the relationship between oral health and depression in Korean adults and provide basic data to prevent oral diseases that affect depression. The final subjects of the study were 5,952 adults aged 19 or older among the 7,090 subjects who responded to the survey in the 3rd year of the 8th period (2021), and the total frequency discrepancy in the research results was omitted due to missing values. Complex sample logistic regression analysis was performed to confirm the relationship between oral health and depression. Depression according to general characteristics depends on gender (P < 0.001), number of household members (P = 0.047), and subjective health level (P < 0.001). Depression according to oral characteristics was statistically significant for complaints of chewing discomfort (P = 0.006) and toothache within the past year (P = 0.023). As a result of analyzing factors affecting depression, in terms of gender, men are 0.43 times more likely than women (95% CI: 0.28~0.65), and in terms of subjective health level, good compared to bad is 0.46 times more likely (95% CI: 0.28~0.75), the average was 0.59 times (95% CI: 0.40~0.87) higher, which was statistically significant. Therefore it seems necessary to improve mental health such as depression in order to relieve oral discomfort and to motive people to take responsibility for won health through oral health education programs related to oral health to oral health related to oral health and mental health.

  • Lack of knowledge and digital skills is a threat to the information security of the state and society, so the formation and development of organizational culture of information security is extremely important to manage this threat. The purpose of the article is to assess the state of information security of the state and society. The research methodology is based on a quantitative statistical analysis of the information security culture according to the EU-27 2019. The theoretical basis of the study is the theory of defense motivation (PMT), which involves predicting the individual negative consequences of certain events and the desire to minimize them, which determines the motive for protection. The results show the passive behavior of EU citizens in ensuring information security, which is confirmed by the low level of participation in trainings for the development of digital skills and mastery of basic or above basic overall digital skills 56% of the EU population with a deviation of 16%. High risks to information security in the context of damage to information assets, including software and databases, have been identified. Passive behavior of the population also involves the use of standard identification procedures when using the Internet (login, password, SMS). At the same time, 69% of EU citizens are aware of methods of tracking Internet activity and access control capabilities (denial of permission to use personal data, access to geographical location, profile or content on social networking sites or shared online storage, site security checks). Phishing and illegal acquisition of personal data are the biggest threats to EU citizens. It have been identified problems related to information security: restrictions on the purchase of products, Internet banking, provision of personal information, communication, etc. The practical value of this research is the possibility of applying the results in the development of programs of education, training and public awareness of security issues.

  • This paper is to study globalization motives and strategies of Japanese and Korean industries by analyzing the causes and patterns of foreign direct investment (FDI) of the firms of the two countries during the 1980s and 1990s. First we develop a FDI function from the profit maximizing model of firms. Then we use regression analysis to determine internally driving-out factors and externally-inducing factors. Japanese FDI strategy has gone through three different stages; from natural resource-seeking investment in the 1950s and 1960s to market-expansion investment in the 1970s and 1980s and to a combination of cost-reducing (low-cost labor-seeking) investment and market-penetrating investment in the 1990s. On the other hand, Korean FDI behavior has gone through four different stages; from the learning stage with small investments in the 1970s, to natural resource-seeking investment in the early and mid 1980s, to the growth stage in the late 1980s and the early 1990s, to the maturity stage of the mid and late 1990s. The last two stages were characterized by a combination of cost-reducing investment and market-seeking investment. As a late comer, Korea began its FDI two decades later than Japan, but caught up the patterns of Japanese FDI by the mid 1990s and is in a competing position with Japan. Our findings show that both Japanese FDI and Korean FDI in Asia and other developing countries tendto be in labor-intensive sectors where their firms are losing their comparative advantages at home. The main motive for FDI into these regions is low-cost resource seeking. On the other hand, both Japanese FDI and Korean FDI in the U.S. and Europe tend to be knowledge-intensive sectors where Japanese and Korean firms attempt to internalize transaction and information costs by globalizing its production. The main motive for FDI into these regions is market-seeking. Firms in both countries have increased their investments in Mexico and Western and Eastern Europe in order to penetrate large economic blocs such as the EU and NAFTA area. Korean firms are more aggressive in expanding into new and untested markets than are their counterpart in Japan. Evidence of this can be seen in the scarcity of Japanese FDI and abundance of Korean FDI in Eastern Europe and China.

  • The widely used motors in HEV(Hybrid Electric Vehicles) are IPMSM(Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) which has no rotor heat, higher efficiency and advantageous in volume and weight comparing with other motors. For vector control of IPMSM, position information of rotor is required but Resolver is mainly used as the detecting sensor. However, the use of position sensors will reduce the system reliability of hybrid electric vehicles. In this paper, a way to control the motor by sensorless was proposed at the event of sensor failure. We also implemented IPMSM sensorless operation by the expanded EMF(Electro Motive Force) voltage way and harmonic voltage which is applying in the low speed area. And we proposed how to change with sensorless control by detecting the position sensors failure and verified it through experiments.

  • The purpose of this paper is to find what factors have an influential effect on motive and intention of using the unethical negotiation tactics. It is interesting to find that opportunism was not related to unethical negotiation tactics such as inappropriate information gathering and competitive bargaining in our Korea's sample. On the other hand, idealism and Machiavellianism had positive impact on managers' perceptions of unethical negotiation tactics within our sample. To explain the environmental perspective, the lower level of legal punishment system encourages them to use the unethical tactics without hesitation. On the other hand, organizational goal might have not a related on the perception of unethical negotiation tactics. To reduce the potential risk of use of unethical negotiation in the international negotiation process, international negotiators should find the counterpart negotiator' character before attending negotiation table, and international managers would be better to employ a local agent who can understand local negotiating counterpart, so they can assist them in early stage of negotiation.

  • The study of application using multimedia contents have been worked out a lot. But those trial can be hardly to be applied because each social study curriculum has a little difference which is a peculiar properties in social study. So we try to find the most efficient study method making multimedia contents system with computer graphic design and animation and sound and movie. This study introduce the method of image transcoding in real time based on repurposing structure to make better use of a multimedia contents system. We assume that developed multimedia contents system could be a big help to increase study efficiency through graphic, sound, movie as well as to encourage student's motive and interest. It is mostly possible to use for creative, self-controlled and social study material which is used to study the subject with conversational and repetitive way. So we hope this study will be a good guide line of developing various contents in multimedia contents.

  • A model for the numerical simulation of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) is developed for use in battery cell design, with a view to improving the performances of such batteries. The model uses Newman-type electrochemical and transfer $theories^{(1,2)}$ to describe the behavior of the lithium-ion cell, together with the Levenberg-Marquardt optimization scheme to estimate the performance or design parameters in nonlinear problems. The mathematical model can provide an insight into the mechanism of LIB behavior during the charging/discharging process, and can therefore help to predict cell performance. Furthermore, by means of least-squares fitting to experimental discharge curves measured at room temperature, we were able to obtain the values of transport and kinetic parameters that are usually difficult to measure. By comparing the calculated data with the life-test discharge curves (SB LiMotive cell), we found that the capacity fade is strongly dependent on the decrease in the reaction area of active materials in the anode and cathode, as well as on the electrolyte diffusivity.
