Methods: The subjects of this study were 521 nurses who were working in the 4 general hospitals located in Seoul and Incheon area. The data were collected by self-reporting questionnaires. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and path analysis. Results: The mean score of nurse's perception of internal marketing was 3 point, and it was similar to previous studies results. In the motivation factors, the most satisfied factor was a responsibility. Advancement was the most unsatisfied factor. In the hygiene factors, the most satisfied factor was a technical supervision. Policy and administration were the most unsatisfied factors. Internal marketing activities affecting on nurse's motivation were different by each motivation-hygiene factors. In an aspect of motivation factors, the statistically significant internal marketing factors were paid-leave, employee welfare and communication, however, in hygiene factors, education, employee welfare and reward. The study examined the moderating effects of the relationship among purchase motivation, satisfaction, and loyalty in a farmer-to-consumer direct market. Data were collected from 426 consumers of direct sale agricultural products who visited nine rural villages across the country. The SPSS 15.0 and LISREL 8.80 statistical package were used for frequency, reliability, exploratory factor, confirmatory factor, and path analysis. Results showed that 'product factor', 'experience factor' and 'economic factor' among purchase motivation had positive effects on satisfaction and satisfaction had positive effects on loyalty. The analysis also indicated that gender moderated the relationship among purchase motivation, satisfaction, and loyalty. Whereas product and economic factors among purchase motivations had positive effects on satisfaction in the male group, product and experience motivation were important factors for female group. These results could enable direct sales marketers to develop marketing techniques to expand farm sales.

This paper discussed motivation, some theories of motivation and motivation of library personnel. The most important aspect of any organization is its workforce. Motivation arouses, energizes, influences and sustains behaviour and performance of employees. Motivating factors include extrinsic factors which pertain to the conditions under which a job is performed and intrinsic motivators which contribute to job satisfaction and subsequently increase productivity. Two levels of motivation were identified in the library: the need-factor motivation and the profession-related motivation. Need-factor motivation is well-pronounced in the lower cadre of library staff such as library assistants, clerical staff, and porters who set their priority on economic needs. The profession-related motivation occurs among professionally trained librarians whose motivation hinges self-fulfillment derived from professional growth and development. Other motivating factor in the library is job design which includes job rotation, job enlargement, and job enrichment. Job design specifies the contents or methods of any job in such a way that various requirements of a job can be effectively satisfied. Adequate motivation of library employees lies with the managers because they generally control work distribution, freedom and autonomy, work challenge Remove, staff development and training, and advancement opportunities. The managers are urged to create enabling environment to ensure improved commitment, satisfaction, and productivity of employees in the library.
Although motivation and information search have both been studied continuously and separately as important marketing strategies, the relation between cause and effect has received little research attention. Therefore the objective of this study was to research the causal relationships between motivation and information search method. Frequency analysis and reliability analysis, factor analysis, and SEM(Structure Equation Model) were adopted to analyze the data. Motivation was divided into 5 factors which significantly influenced information search method. Factor 1, 'Reception and congratulation', influenced information search positively through 'newspaper, magazine', and 'word of mouth' but negatively through 'TV-advertising' and 'Flyer, Press copy'. Factor 2, 'Change of dietary life', influenced positively 'TV-advertising'. Factor 3, 'Economic saving', influenced positively 'newspaper, magazine', and 'the e-mail's advertising' Factor 4, 'Preference motivation', influenced negatively 'word of mouth' Factor 5, 'Advertisement and companion's need', influenced positively 'newspaper, magazine', and 'the e-mail's advertising' but negatively 'TV-advertising' As a result, customers appeared to choose various information search methods according to their eating-out motivation. 'The e-mail's advertising', and 'word of mouth' are popular among customers' information search methods. Therefore, food-service corporations need to try eliminating negative images of various advertisements and activate positive word of mouth marketing, promotion through internet.

But motivation factor was not influenced directly and positively by the job satisfaction of school meal chefs.
This study was to investigate factors and disclose causal model of the scientific literacy competency about the motivation for science and the scientific literacy competency. The 3 grade university students and the 1 grade university students as pre-service elementary teachers were participated to questionnaire investigation. The data were analyzed by the factor analysis method and the structural equation model method, and the following results were obtained. First, the 3 grade university students and the 1 grade university students perceived the science interest factors and science usefulness factors as the motivation for science, and also revealed the scientific problem recognition factor and the scientific evidence use factor as the scientific literacy competency. Second, the science interest factor had a greater effect on the scientific problem recognition factor than the scientific evidence use factor in both the 3 grade and 1 grade university students. In the path from the science usefulness factor to the scientific problem recognition factor, the science usefulness factor of the 3 grade university students had a greater influence on the direct route to the scientific problem recognition factor than that of the 1 grade university students. In the path from the science usefulness factor to the scientific evidence use factor, the science usefulness factor of the 1 grade university students influenced more on the direct route to the scientific evidence use factor than that of the 3 grade university students.
The purpose of this research was to examine the concurrent validity of the Nalongyee children's achievement motivation test by studying its relationship to a children's school readiness test. The subjects were 335 preschool children (171 urban and 164 rural) selected from 8 public and 7 private kindergartens located in two metropolitan areas (Seoul and Pusan) and 5 rural counties in Kyungsang Nam Do. Instruments included the Nalongyee Children's Achievement Motivation Test by the author and the School Readiness "Lest by Unhai Rhee. Data were analyzed by Pearson r and Z-test. Readiness was positively related to the total score and sub-areas of achievement motivation (.10-.43). Sub-areas of the achievement motivation test were related to each of the 4 factors of the readiness test. The correlations ranged from .00-.35 with the personal-social response factor, .00-.26 with the associative vocabulary factor, .05-.31 with the number concept factor, and .03-.37 with the perception factor. Significant differences in correlations were found between urban and rural areas for self-confidence, interest in learning, interest in kindergarten and physical competence.
Purpose: to develop an instrument to assess the rehabilitation motivation and to test its reliability and validity. Method: The data was collected with in-depth interviews of nine participants that include adults with disabilities acquired after they reached 18 years' of age. The development of the preliminary items was based on the theory of self-determination proposed by Deci & Ryan (1985) and the results from the analysis of the data. After these, appropriate specialists clarified the validity of the contents of the preliminary items twice. A test to reliability and validity was conducted with 186 disabled. A principal axis factor analysis with oblimin rotation was performed on 29 items. Result: Finally 27 items were selected. The 5-factor solution emerged as the most appropriate model for the data. The different types of motivation for rehabilitation were identified as: task-oriented motivation, change-oriented motivation, obligatory motivation, external motivation, and amotivation. The alpha coefficient of internal consistency was .85. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that the instrument to measure motivation for the rehabilitation of the disabled may be a useful instrument with a high degree of reliability and validity.
