3D 스캐너를 이용한 커브드 모니터의 스프링백 분석 연구 (A study on the springback analysis of a curve monitor using a 3D scanner)

  • Flexible display tends to grow every year, It tends to be larger, slimmer, and higher in image quality. Therefore, accuracy is required in the manufacturing process of each part. In the curved monitor, the bottom chassis has a structure to which other parts can be attached. The accuracy of the curvature which the bottom chassis of the curve monitor monitors has is important. If the curvature error is large, serious defects such as cracks, warpage, twisting and the like occur. Curvature was analyzed using 3D scanner. In the Forming process and Restriking process steps, spring go occurred, and spring back occurred in the Notching process and Bending process steps. Even in the same process, it was confirmed that the curvature value varied depending on the formed shape.

다이캐스팅에 의한 모터 하우징의 금형설계에 관한 연구 (Research on the Mold Design of Motor Housing using Die Casting Process)

  • In this paper, research on the mold design of motor housing produced by the HPDC process was conducted using computer simulations and experiments. Recently, automobile parts have been required to be light and have high strength. The die casting process was used to manufacture automotive motor housings. In the die casting process, the control of casting defects is very important. However, it has usually depended on the experience of the foundry engineer. For the analysis of the manufacturing process of motor housing, the finite element method is applied. Through the simulations using commercial software, the filling pattern and product defects could be confirmed. The analysis results obtained from the filling behavior of the casting process agreed with the experimental results. The computer simulation results of filling behavior were reflected in the optimal mold design of motor housing.

  • In this paper, in order to improve the formability and quality of the injection molded parts in the molds for molding the motorcycle rear cowl injection molded parts with different volumes at the same time, the flow of the molded parts is changed through the injection molding CAE analysis by changing the gate position, runner size and position. It is to find the optimum gate position, the diameter of the runner and the position where the balance is equal. The molded article formed by the optimization resulted in the uniformity of the molten resin at the same time at the corner of the product, thereby maintaining the flow balance favorable for mass production at lower injection pressure.

대형 디스플레이용 플레임의 코너 고정용 브라켓의 뒤틀림 보정에 관한 연구 (A study on torsion correction of corner fixing bracket for large display frame)

  • In this paper, the method of improving the flatness and perpendicularity for a corner fixing bracket of the large display frame is studied through experiments. Three specimens were tested, one specimen not subjected to bending line before bending, and two specimens with a straight groove with 0.2 mm and 0.5 mm depth. Experimental results show that the flatness of bracket becomes worse with deeper depth. When there is no straight groove, the perpendicularity becomes worse. For the flatness correction, a restriking process was added. The twist of bracket was corrected by performing the restriking with a curvature larger than the twist amount in the direction opposite to the deformed direction. We also found that the perpendicularity is maintained regardless of the amount of curvature with the restriking process.

  • Production machines have been more important, due to quality level of vehicle motor core is getting higher. That is why, to improve assembly fit of tooling and to be emphasized how much moving down caused of deterioration of high speed press, it is also getting more important parts as solution of problems. To analyze how much move based on condition of movement as tooling and high speed press, and to measure how much impact to embossing height caused of changing movement down. As the result of investigation, in case of material thickness 0.5mm, there is highest pull and force power when emboss height is 0.45mm. If emboss height is less than 0.45mm, pull and force power is getting lower, if emboss height is higher than 0.45mm, it is impossible to make it forming caused of changed press movement, also it has been piercing.

  • 다양한 종류의 제품을 생산하는 프레스금형의 부품 중에서 펀치와 다이플레이트를 제작하는데 주로 W-EDM을 이용한다. W-EDM전에는 기계가공으로 제작된 펀치와 다이플레이트로 제품을 생산하게 되면 생산량이 200만~230만개를 생산하고 금형수명을 다하였다. 그러나 W-EDM으로 제작된 금형으로 제품을 생산하게 되면 생산수량이 70만~80만개를 생산하고 금형수명이 다하였다. 이것은 W-EDM한 후에 발생되는 가공변질층에 기인하는 것으로 사료되므로 W-EDM전과 W-EDM후의 가공면에 대한 SEM촬영을 실시하여 가공변질층의 발생을 확인하고 이에 대한 제거 방법을 연구하였다.

수치해석을 이용한 플라스틱 풀리 성형품의 최적 성형에 관한 연구 (A study on the optimum molding of plastic pulley using numerical analysis)

  • Plastic pulleys used for the purpose of power transmission have to very high roundness characteristics. The roundness of plastic pulleys is influenced by many factors. In this study, the effect of molding conditions on the roundness of pulleys was analyzed using a numerical analysis program. To improve the roundness, molding conditions that minimize the amount of deformation of the pulley were studied through an experimental design method. Among the experimental design methods, the Taguchi method was used, and the main molding conditions affecting the deformation of the pulley were the resin temperature and the holding pressure. It was found that the amount of deformation is reduced by about 2.86% when molding with the optimum molding conditions compared to when the optimum molding conditions are not applied.

  • My company develops, manufactures injection mold and produces thin-walled cosmetics and food containers. Without high quality and low production cost, it is hard to compete in the market. To be competitive, a company has to utilize mold with as many cavities as possible to lower manufacturing cost. Eject plate abrasion and deformation cut down mold lifespan, troubles during injection lower productivity and foreign substances in molds cause abrasion. This study focuses on how to improve mold life and productivity, and to slow down mold abrasion.

  • The progressive die is processing methods that can improve the productivity for sequentially transferring while continuously producing in multiple processes. In this study was carried out the die analysis through the load analysis acting on the terminal die and sheet metal forming also the study was carried out with respect to optimized die design for the terminal die and progressive die manufacturing using the CimatronE Die Design.

  • Mold making and product manufacturing process was made by a die through a number of stages. Thereby, it takes a long period of time from the manufacture of mold until passed the products to consumers. However, it is not possible to meet the diverse desires purchasing of consumer. We made a 3D CAD Model aligned with product scan data using reverse engineering. Utilizing thereafter flow analysis to derive the optimal mold conditions, by applying the condition, and devised a mold fabrication process that is much shorter than the conventional process for fabricating a mold. In this study, the outlet cover to the product, it describes a process, as a result, it was confirmed that the number of steps can be shortened much more than the conventional process.
