Development of Automatic Visual Inspection for the Defect of Compact Camera Module

  • Compact Camera Module(CCM) is widely used in PDA, Celluar phone and PC web camera. With the greatly increasing use for mobile applications, there has been a considerable demands for high speed production of CCM. The major burden of production of CCM is assembly of lens module onto CCD or CMOS packaged circuit board. After module is assembled, the CCM is inspected. In this paper, we developed the image capture board for CCM and the imaging processing algorithm to inspect the defects in captured image of assembled CCMs. The performances of the developed inspection system and its algorithm are tested on samples of 10000 CCMs. Experimental results reveal that the proposed system can focus the lens of CCM within 5s and we can recognize various types of defect of CCM modules with good accuracy and high speed.

  • Recently, digital camera module has been extensively utilized in mobile devices. The digital camera module should be smaller and lighter than digital still camera module to be used in mobile device. But, mobile camera can't get high quality image as good as the one of digital still camera due to the optical limitation of minimized module. Especially, AE system of mobile camera occurs excessive hunting and oscillation due to miniaturization of module. In this paper, improved AE algorithm which is applied fuzzy PI control is suggested to compensate this point.

  • This paper is to develop a security module for electronic approval systems. Electronic documents are created, transmitted and saved in the company's intranet computer network. Transmitting electronic documents, however, brings us a security problem. Communications among various computer systems are exposed to many security threats. Those threats are eavesdropping, repudiation, replay back etc. The main purpose of this paper is to develop a module which provides the security of electronic documents while they are passed from one place to another This paper applies Multi-Level security to the electronic approval system that guarantees security of electronic documents from many threats. Multi-Level security controls the access to the documents by granting security level to subject users and object electronic documents. To prevent possible replay back attacks, this paper also uses one time password to the system. The security module is composed of client program and server one. The module was developed using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and Microsoft SQL Server 7.0. The code uses Richard Bondi's WCCO(Wiley CryptoAPI COM Objects) library functions which enables Visual Basic to access Microsoft CryptoAPI.

A Compact Active Channel Module Design for Active Phased Array Antenna System

  • This paper introduces the T/RX combined compact active channel module which is a key unit of the active phased array antenna(APAA) system. This module is mainly compoased of two parts for TX and RX fabricated on both sides of the active module for size reduction. The TX-part is primarily composed of a 3-stage amplifier, a microstrip phase shifter, a thermal compensation and a power detection circuit. The RX-part is composed of LNAs a microstrip phase shifter and BPFs for TX power rejection. Using the proposed design structure we can realized a compact active channel module having high performance.

  • This paper addresses the methodology development far the automated machining setup planning system using case-based reasoning(CBR). The case-based reasoning is used to develop a setup planning system. which consists of part input and representation module, case retrieval module, and case adaptation module. We present new approaches in the part input and representation module and the case retrieval module focusing on the similarity index determination. An illustrative example is included to demonstrate the proposed method.

  • 본 논문에서는 반도체 소자와 디스플레이 패널의 제조공정에 사용되는 플라즈마 식각장비의 RF 정합특성을 개선하기 위한 모듈을 제안하였다. 구동부의 기구 중 베벨기어를 웜기어로 새롭게 설계 제작하고 제어부도 원칩 마이크로 프로세서를 이용하여 재구성하였다. 개발된 모듈은 기존의 정합장치보다 다양한 공정변수에 대한 능동적인 대처가 가능하고, 모터의 흐름현상 등을 개선함으로서 RF 정합특성이 개선되어, 플라즈마 식각공정의 생산성을 향상시킬 수 있음을 보였다.

  • One of the recent trends of cockpit development is to integrate the part of whole cockpit and compartment. The goal of this study is to develop and Analyze User's Convenience for a cockpit prototype based on the design guide of cockpit integration module. The process of this study has been followed analyzing development trend of next generation Automotive cockpit, extracting the design factor needed to making integration module and laying down the design guide of cockpit integration module. After that process, next-generation Automotive cockpit has been embodied as graphical image designing. Henceforth, applying this module to real will be considered after evaluation of utilization. THis study is indicated that one example for evaluation of utilization.

  • This paper presents a multi-modal neural network composed of a preprocessing module and a multi-layer neural network module in order to enhance the nonlinear characteristics of neural network. The former module is based on spectral method using Chebyschev polynomials and transforms input data into spectra. The latter module identifies the system using the spectra generated by the preprocessing module. The omnibus numerical experiments show that the method is applicable to many a nonlinear dynamic system in the real world, and that preprocessing using Chebyschev polynomials reduces the number of neurons required for the multi-layer neural network.

태양광 PV 스트링에서의 모듈 부정합 손실의 분석 및 개선 기법 타당성 연구 (Analysis of Module Mismatch Loss in Solar PV String and Feasibility Study for Improvement Method)

  • In this paper, the power loss due to PV module mismatch in PV string is analyzed and a mismatch compensation method is proposed to improve the efficiency of PV system. The analysis of mismatch loss using PV model simulation reveals that the mismatch module may decrease the total efficiency because the MPPT function of power conditioner make the PV system operate at the local maximum point. The mismatch loss can be severe if the maximum power point current of mismatch module is less than that of string. The proposed compensation method which is simply implemented with a buck type converter shows the possibility to remove the mismatch loss. The effectiveness of the analysis and compensation method is verified by a prototype experiment.

  • Unit module system produce units in the factory and assemble in the field. This unit module system has advantages of shortening the process of construction. However, it is still in the early research related to setting the unit module which is transported by truck to the field. Therefore, when transporting the unit module, this goal of study develops fixed devices. And suggesting device were performed that simulations analyzed maximum stress and assessed the safety.
