In recent years, public attention to health and wellness issues has increased. The integration of smart fitness hardware and innovative technologies have made the development of smart fitness a trend. The number of fitness applications in the market has surged, and demand for an optimal experience is increasingly high. This study selects Sweatcoin, Home Workout, Six Pack in 30 Days, and Fitness Coach & Diet as research subjects from the top ten global mobile health and fitness apps in 2022 based on download rankings. The research is based on eight gamification elements: motivation, challenge, achievement, relationships, sharing, reward, level, and competition, identified through preliminary studies. We distributed a total of 166 questionnaires to users and collected 163 valid responses for data analysis. The Kano Model was used to study the desires of fitness enthusiasts using fitness apps. To reduce the limitations of the research results, the Better-Worse Method was employed for satisfaction index analysis. Based on the final analysis, we propose suggestions for improvement for the four fitness apps to better meet user needs and create a more attractive and efficient application experience.
This study emphasizes the essential need in the military for effective measurement and monitoring of soldiers' physical fitness, health, and exercise capabilities to enhance both their overall fitness and combat effectiveness. The effective assessment of physical fitness is considered a core element of management, aligning with principles of modern management. Particularly, preparing soldiers with robust physical fitness is deemed crucial for adapting to dynamic changes on the battlefield. In this research, the RFM (Recency, Frequency, Monetary) customer analysis and clustering methods, validated in e-commerce, are introduced as a basis for applying an AI-driven customer analysis approach to assess military personnel fitness. To achieve this, the study explores the incorporation of the RSC (Reveal, Sustainable, Control) analysis model. This model aims to effectively categorize and monitor military personnel fitness. The application of the RFM technique in the RSC analysis model quantifies and models military fitness, fostering continuous improvement and seeking strategies to enhance the effectiveness of fitness management. Through these methods, the study develops an AI customer analysis technique applied to the RSC clustering analysis method for improving and sustaining military personnel fitness.
Purpose: Recently, propensity score matching method is used in a large number of research paper, nonetheless, there is no research using fitness test of before and after propensity score matching. Therefore, comparing fitness of before and after propensity score matching by logistic regression analysis using data from 'online survey of adolescent health' is the main significance of this research. Method: Data that has similar propensity in two groups is extracted by using propensity score matching then implement logistic regression analysis on before and after matching separately. Results: To test fitness of logistic regression analysis model, we use Model summary, -2Log Likelihood and Hosmer-Lomeshow methods. As a result, it is confirmed that the data after matching is more suitable for logistic regression analysis than data before matching. Conclusion: Therefore, better result which has appropriate fitness will be shown by using propensity score matching shows better result which has better fitness.
Objectives In regard to the social competition hypothesis, depression is viewed as an involuntary defeat strategy. A previous study has demonstrated that adaptation in microenvironments can result in a wide range of behavioural patterns including defense activation disorders. Using a simulation model with evolutionary ecological agents, we explore how the fitness of various defence activation traits has changed over time in different environments with high and low social mobility. Methods The Evolutionary Ecological Model of Defence Activation Disorder, which is based on the Marginal Value Theorem, was used to examine changes in relative fitness for individuals with defensive activation disorders after adjusting for social mobility. Results Our study examined the effects of social mobility on fitness by varying the d-values, a measure of depression in the model. With a decline in social mobility, the level of fitness of individuals with high levels of defense activation decreased. We gained insight into the evolutionary influence of varying levels of social mobility on individuals' degrees of depression. In the context of a highly stratified society, the results support a mismatch hypothesis which states that high levels of defence are detrimental. Conclusions Despite the fact that niche specialization in habitats composed of multiple microenvironments can result in diverse levels of defensive activation being evolutionary strategies for stability, decreased social mobility may lead to a decrease in fitness of individuals with highly activated defence modules. There may be a reason behind the epidemic of depression in modern society.
This study was attempted to investigate the possibilities of fitness evaluation of virtual model using 3D clothes modeling software. For the purpose, two one-piece dresses were made with two kinds of patterns using Qualoth program, and then each dress was fitted to a real model and a virtual model, and the results were compared and discussed. The result of this study was as follows. First, the fitness evaluation of real model showed a significant difference only at a little difference in figures (1-2.5cm) of the pattern, while any significant difference in appearance was not found in case of a virtual model fitted a dress made out of a pattern with the same difference in figures. Second, items to evaluate a difference in patterns using 3D clothes modeling software were shoulder line, the distance between shoulder points, armhole line, ease of armscye depth, and overall appearance. Because all the items fall under design lines which make up outer lines of a cloth, it can be said that the Qualoth program is good for representing design, rather than exposing a small difference in patterns.
Purpose An increase in the number of fitness apps across the world is a testament to the growing interest in health. As focus on medical services shifted from treatment to prevention, this type of app plays an essential role in promoting one's health and exercise management. Yet little has been known about practical effects of fitness apps in existing literature thus this study searches for factors that affect daily use of fitness apps and examine the relationship between app usage and exercise patterns. Design/methodology/approach This study surveyed people who used Cashwalk, the pedometer app for a minimum of a week to analyze reasons why they used the app. Particpants' exercise patterns were also recorded. By examining survey results of fitness app users and developing a research model based on the Customer Value Theory, this study provides real-life factors to the fitness and smart health care industry that will adopt a proactive lifestyle pattern. Findings Empirical analysis proved properties such as the complexity of fitness apps, monetary rewards, exercise monitoring and the enjoyment of using fitness apps contribute to using fitness apps on a daily basis. Furthermore, more daily use of fitness apps was shown to have a greater impact on exercise. This study also confirmed that social comparison does not affect the daily use of fitness apps and the amount of exercise, and the habitual walking was proved to directly affect the amount of exercise.

We develop a dynamic demand forecasting model compared to regression analysis model and AutoRegressive Integrated Moving Average(ARIMA) model. The dynamic model can apply to the current dynamic data to forecasts through introducing state equation. A multiple regression model and ARIMA model using given data are designed via the model analysis. The forecasting fitness evaluation between the designed models and the dynamic model is compared with the criterion of sum of squared error.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between emotional labor, job burnout and job satisfaction in instructors. The data were collected from 323 fitness center instructors using multistage stratified cluster random sampling method. With the collected data, factor analysis, reliability analysis, frequency analysis, correlation analysis, model fit tested, and structural equation model were performed by SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 20.0. The result of the analysis were summarized as follows. First, the emotional labor(inner behavior) impacts negative influence on job burnout of fitness center instructors. Second, the emotional labor(surface behavior) impacts positive influence on job satisfaction of fitness center instructors. Third, the job burnout impacts negative influence on job satisfaction of fitness center instructors. Fourth, the emotional labor(inner behavior) impacts positive influence on job satisfaction of fitness center instructors. Fifth, the emotional labor(surface behavior) does not influence on job satisfaction of fitness center instructors.

Purpose: This study was done to construct a quality of life (QOL) model for recipients of a liver transplant. Method: In consideration of the main factors influencing QOL in recipient of liver transplants, a hypothetical model was constructed with 16 paths. A questionnaire was used to collect data from recipients of liver transplants who were being followed at one of 3 university hospitals. For the final analysis, there were 189 completed questionnaires and the hypothetical model was verified through covariance structure using LISREL program. Results: Overall fitness indices of hypothetical model were GFI= .99, AGFI= .97, NNFI= .96 and RMR=.020. After considering modification indices and paths that proved not to be significant and to improve model fitness, the hypothetical model was modified. In the final model, 3 paths from the hypothetical model were excluded. Overall fitness indices of the final model were GFI= .99, AGFI= .98, NNFI= .98 and RMR= .020. Eleven of fifteen paths proved to be significant. QOL was influenced by duration after transplantation, perceived health status, self-esteem, uncertainty, social support, self efficacy and depression and these variables explained 65% of the variance. Conclusion: This study presents a theoretical model for QOL for recipients of a liver transplant. Based on the results of this study and to improve QOL for recipients of a liver transplant, it is suggested that interventions to re-enforce self efficacy and self-help are needed.
This paper proposes a method to compare planned processes with actual processes of bock assembly operations in shipbuilding industry. Process models can be discovered using the process mining techniques both for planned and actual log data. The comparison between planned and actual process is focused in this paper. The analysis procedure consists of five steps : 1) data pre-processing, 2) definition of analysis level, 3) clustering of assembly bocks, 4) discovery of process model per cluster, and 5) comparison between planned and actual processes per cluster. In step 5, it is proposed to compare those processes by the several perspectives such as process model, task, process instance and fitness. For each perspective, we also defined comparison factors. Especially, in the fitness perspective, cross fitness is proposed and analyzed by the quantity of fitness between the discovered process model by own data and the other data(for example, the fitness of planned model to actual data, and the fitness of actual model to planned data). The effectiveness of the proposed methods was verified in a case study using planned data of block assembly planning system (BAPS) and actual data generated from block assembly monitoring system (BAMS) of a top ranked shipbuilding company in Korea.
