Ku대역 모노펄스 위성추적을 위한 동축구조 도파관 고차모드 커플러 설계 (Design of a Higher-Order Mode Coupler Using Coaxial-Structure Waveguide for Ku-Band Monopulse Satellite Tracking)

  • 본 논문은 Ku대역 모노펄스 위성추적을 위한 동축구조 도파관 고차모드 커플러를 제안하였다. 제안된 고차모드 커플러는 이동체 탑재용 위성추적시스템에 적용 가능하도록 소형/경량화를 위하여 동축구조의 도파관을 이용하였다. 기본모드 신호 추출을 위해 내측 원형도파관을 이용하였고, 고차모드 신호 추출을 위해 외측 원형도파관에 내어진 4개의 슬롯과 스텝 구조의 직사각형 도파관을 이용하였다. 제안된 고차모드 커플러의 모의실험 결과는 반사손실 및 삽입손실이 약 250 MHz의 대역폭(12.75~13.00 GHz)을 만족하며, 모노펄스 추적에 적용 가능한 기본모드 패턴 및 고차모드 패턴이 만족스럽게 생성된 결과를 확인하였다. 제안된 Ku대역 동축구조 도파관 고차모드 커플러는 고속 정밀추적이 요구되는 모노펄스 위성추적시스템에 이용될 것으로 기대된다.

  • In this study, we suggested a design modification method to reduce the vibration of an air conditioner for railway vehicles and increase the durability of its pipe lines. Through experimental vibrational mode analyses and structural modifications on the air conditioning system, vibration reduction scheme was suggested and evaluated its effectiveness by empirical modal analysis. The derived design idea was applied to a real air conditioning system and the expected improvement was obtained.

  • In Auxiliary block of High speed train Power factor correction and Harmonics reduction is very important issue for efficient energy transport. The GTO-equipped PWM converter is used for traction untill resently. but the rising power capability of IGBTs resently allows to build IGBT-equipped PWM converter with a considerably increases switching frequency. In this paper presents switching pattern, control method, operation mode and tuned filter to reduce dc link voltage ripple for paralleled converter.

  • This paper deal with problems of leakage current, shaft voltage, bearing current, and EMI, in valiable-speed AC drives. The originating mechanism is illustrated with a high-frequency equivalent circuit. Reduction methods are classified in to six categories based on the equivalent circuit. Some experimental results show that a common-mode transformer (CMT) and a common-noise canceler (ACC) can solve the problems, which have been proposed the authors.

  • In this paper, the patient data back-up system for medical and engineering field was designed. The system consists of 8-bit microprocessor, cassette recorder and data acquisition & control logic. To Inake data reduction, a Marked CORTES Algorythm which can be easily reconstructed was also designed in real time mode. In results, a Marked CORTES Algorythm produced about 35% data reduction rate and reconstructed good original data that are suitable Medician's reading.

  • A variety of power reduction technologies is introduced and the benefits of the technologies are discussed. PenTile$^{(R)}$ DBLC (Dynamic Brightness LED Control) combined with SABC (Sensor-Based Adaptive Brightness Control) enables to achieve the average LED power consumption to one third. The panel power reduction of 25% can be achieved with low power driving technology, ALS (Active Level Shifter). MIP (Memory In Pixel) is expected to be useful in transflective display because the whole display area can be utilized in reflective mode with power consumption of 1mW.

  • An experimental study was carried out to investigate the emission characteristics for various alternative fuels in a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder turbo-charged diesel engine. The conventional diesel fuel, neat GTL (Gas to Liquid), blends of diesel and biodiesel(BD20), and blends of GTL and biodiesel(G+BD20 and G+BD40) were applied, and their emission characteristics were compared at various steady-state engine operating conditions. A noticeable reduction of exhaust emissions compared to conventional diesel fuel, except for NOx emission, was observed for G+BD40, where there is a maximum 30% averaged reduction for gaseous emissions (THC and CO) and 70% for PM mass concentrations. When comparing PM size distributions for biodiesel blended fuels, the PM number concentration in accumulation mode, where the diameter of PM is greater than 50 nm, decreased due to additional oxygen content in the biodiesel fuel; in nucleation mode, where the diameter of PM is less than 50nm, there was a slight increase or decrease in the PM number concentration depending on the amount of oxygen available in the combustion chamber.

  • Tooth bleaching has been prevailing recently for its ability to recover the color and shape of natural teeth without reduction of tooth material. However, it has been reported that bleaching procedure adversely affects the adhesive bond strength of composite resin to tooth. At the same time the bond strength was reported to be regained by application of some chemical agents. The purpose of this in vitro study was to investigate the effect of the removal of residual peroxide on the composite- enamel adhesion and also evaluated fracture mode between resin and enamel after bleaching. Sixty extracted human anterior and premolars teeth were divided into 5 groups and bleached by combined technique using of office bleaching with 35 % hydrogen peroxide and matrix bleaching with 10% carbamide peroxide for 4 weeks. After bleaching, the labial surfaces of each tooth were treated with catalase, 70% ethyl alcohol, distilled water and filled with composite resin. Shear bond strength was tested and the fractured surfaces were also examined with SEM. Analysis revealed significantly higher bond strength values. (p<0.05) for catalase-treated specimens, but water-treated specimens showed reduction of bond strength, alcohol- treated specimens had medium value between the two groups(p<0.05). The fracture mode was shown that the catalase group and the alcohol group had cohesive failure but the water sprayed group had adhesive failure. It was concluded that the peroxide residues in tooth after bleaching seems to be removed by gradual diffusion and the free radical oxygen from peroxide prevents polymerization by combining catalyst in the resin monomer. Therefore it may be possible to eliminate the adverse effect on the adhesion of composite resin to enamel after bleaching by using water displacement solution or dentin bonding agent including it for effective removal of residual peroxide.

전원노이즈 억제용 차폐절연변압기의 설계 및 주파수특성 해석 (Design and Frequency Characteristic Analysis of Shielded Isolation Transformer for the Power Line Noise Reduction)

  • AC 전원선로에서 발생하는 수 kHz에서 수십 MHz에 이르는 광대역의 주파수특성을 가진 전원노이즈는 전기, 전자, 통신장비의 정상적인 동작에 많은 장해요소가 되고 있으며 이들 전도성 노이즈를 억제하기 위한 기기로 기존에는 써어지 억제기와 필터가 적용되어 왔다. 그러나, 이러한 기존의 노이즈 대책기기는 전력 공급선과 노이즈 피해회로 상호간의 전기적인 절연 분리가 원천적으로 불가능하므로 전도성 노이즈 중에서 가장 큰 피해를 끼치는 공통모드 노이즈 억제성능이 지극히 제한적이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 전원회로의 공통모드 및 정상모드 노이즈 억제에 사용 가능한 차폐절연변압기에 대한 모의 등가회로를 제안하였으며, 계산과 실험을 통해 그 성능을 비교 해석함으로써 모의 해석의 유효성을 입증하였다. 또한 차폐절연변압기의 설계 방법을 제시하였으며, 제작된 3kVA급 시작품과 비 차폐된 절연변압기의 노이즈 성능을 비교함으로써 전도성 노이즈 억제성능의 우수성을 검증하였다.

직류 계전기의 접촉구조에 의한 고주파수 소음저감 (Towards reducing acoustical high-frequency noise of a direct current relay via contact structure)

  • 직류 계전기는 전기자동차의 하나의 부품으로 간헐적으로 고주파수 소음이 710 Hz ~ 730 Hz의 주파수 범위에서 전기적 부하에 의해 발생한다. 고정접점과 가동접점 사이에서 발생하는 전자 반발력이 가동접점과 접압 스프링을 진동시키고, 그 진동으로 가동접점과 접압 스프링에 공진이 발생하여 고주파수 소음이 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 수치해석 및 실험을 통하여 고주파수 소음의 원인을 규명하고, 소음을 제거하는 방안을 제시하였다. 710 Hz ~ 730 Hz의 주파수 범위에서 가동접점은 고정접점과의 2개의 접촉점을 기준으로 회전하는 공진모드가 발생한다. 따라서 해당 여기서 제안한 방법은 공진모드를 제거하기 위해 가동접점의 구조를 2점 접촉구조 방식에서 3점 접촉구조 방식으로 변경하는 것이다. 3점 접촉구조를 적용함에 따라 공진모드가 제거되는 것을 수치해석으로 확인하였고, 실험적으로도 고주파수 소음이 발생하지 않는 것을 확인하였다.
