  • The Terrestrial DTV service compliant with ATSC has been advancing for years. In KBA(Korean Broadcasters Association), a multi-channel service was broadcasted on air during the period of the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany with the various type of MMS(Multi Mode Service) using MPEG-2 encoding method. MMS Service can provides not only one HD channel but also serveral additional services within 6MHz bandwidth. Using digital video compression technology(MPEG-2), many various programs such as HDTV, SDTV, Audio and Data are able to be transmitted within the same bandwidth. From November 2009, KBS has been preparing an advanced MMS service, 'Korea-View' which has both methods of encoding, MPEG-2 and H.264 that is compliant ATSC mobile standard, A/153. Korea-View is a kind of multi-channel broadcast service to provide one HD and 3 SD programs with the bandwidth of 6MHz. Terrestrial multi-channel service is required to focuse on expanding viewer service. Such Terrestrial multi-channel services will contribute to transferring to digital broadcasting and to extending the viewers' welfare. Due to advances in digital technology, Pay-TV channels has increased to hundreds. Even though digital switchover is being proceeded, terrestrial broadcasters have been unable to deliver multi-channel services. In this paper, technical features and differences of MMS and Koreaview will be analyzed regarding terrestrial multi-channel broadcasting services, and the politic direction will be proposed in accordance with introduction of future service.

  • In the perspective of value-based adoption mode, this study empirically examined the factors that affect the intention of users of Fintech payment services to stop using them. A survey of college students who are familiar with digital devices, have no objection to payment and settlement services, and have high service access. A total of 148 questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS and SmartPLS. The study results show that perceived benefits, complexity, and security concerns are significant factors influencing the discontinue intention of Fintech payment services. Among them, the perceived benefit showed the most significant influence. Based on the results of this study, Fintech providers will be able to build a service environment to provide continuous benefits for maintaining long-term relationships with users, improve systems to secure various uses, and reduce users' negative perceptions of security. Recently, the use of services by the elderly has increased, so it is necessary to expand the scope of this study to target various age groups in future research.

  • TETRA(TErrestrial Trunked RAdio) provide specialized disaster radio communication services as a standard European for digital TRS(Trunked Radio System). Especially, DMO(Direct Mode Operation) feature is used effectively in the radio shadow areas which base station does not propagate radio signal because it can communicate directly with terminal to terminal without base station's relay function. However, to effectively used DMO feature, radio coverage prediction information should be provided to users. Therefore in this paper, we were calculated link budget of TETRA DMO terminals which were distributing and operating in the country and then predicted reaching distance about radio propagation to be applied with path loss model.

  • To increase therapeutic efficiency and biological safety, it is important to precision control of acoustic output for therapeutic ultrasound equipment. In this paper, the electro-acoustic radiation conductance, one of electroacoustic characteristics of therapeutic ultrasound equipment, was measured by the radiation force balance method according to IEC 61161 standards and the acoustic output was estimated using the electro-acoustic radiation conductance. The estimation of acoustic output was conducted to continuous wave mode and pulse wave mode of duty cycle between 20% and 80%. The differences between prediction values and measurement results are within 5% of measurement uncertainty, which is a reasonably good agreement. The results show that acoustic output controlled by electro-acoustic radiation conductance was found to be an effective method.

  • This study estimated mode choice models for access travel and neighborhood travel from an SP survey in metropolitan areas where shared e-scooter services are offered. Model results show that travel time and travel cost have negative effects on mode utility. It is also revealed that people are more sensitive to travel time in access travel, whereas they are more influenced by travel cost in neighborhood travel. Looking at individual and household attributes, it has a positive effect when under 40 yerars of age, owning bikes, being a public transportation user, while it has been shown a negative effect in less than 3 million won in monthly household income and owning individual cars.

  • When use FMO by error resilience purpose in existing $TYPE1{\sim}2$ compare. But, in This paper, TYPE $3{\sim}5$[Gradual decoder refresh tool] is used as error resilence tool. Experiment result, it shows that Y PSNR improves that use suitable TYPE's FMO. Images using in an experiment had better use Type $3{\sim}5$. Differ with existing paper, dipersed mode appeared result badly. Because spatial correlation is low, acted adversely in intra predication.

  • Purpose: This study aimed to provide fundamental information about childbirth and antenatal care for pregnancy women and to find differences in mother's antenatal care and delivery service satisfaction between vaginal delivery and cesarean section. Methods: This study was conducted in 4 residential areas and a study sample of 184 postpartum mothers who agreed to collect data. Data was collected from September 1 to October 20 2007 and a structured questionnaire were recruited by the survey. The data was analyzed by t-test and chi-squire test using SPSS/WIN 12.0. Results: There was a significant difference in delivery place between vaginal delivery and cesarean delivery. Only 10.7% of vaginal delivery group delivered in general hospitals, however 24.5% of the cesarean section group delivered in general hospitals. Early antenatal care also showed statistical difference in mode of delivery. 43.5% of vaginal delivery mothers visited hospitals for the detection of pregnancy but 28.3% of cesarean section mothers did that. Vaginal delivery mothers more satisfied with her own delivery method and suggested a vaginal delivery to others. Conclusion: These results suggest that cesarean section mother's sensitivity of early antenatal care was less than vaginal delivery mother. Satisfaction related to delivery care services were higher in the vaginal delivery group.

  • Third-generation (3G) devicesare next-generation devices that allow the use of intelligent services and applications through the Internet of Things (IoT). As the market forexisting smart devices like smartphones and tablet PCs enters the stage of stagnation, the world is now focusing on 3G devices, parts, and services. This study is intended to measure the user's benefits from the various attributes of 3G devices by applying an economic valuation method. For this purpose, the conjoint analysis method was applied, which is one of the representative valuation methods. To apply conjoint analysis, the following attributes of 3G devicesare considered: mode of use, power efficiency, life care, and price. By applying the mixed logit model, the marginal willingness-to-pay(WTP) for each attribute was derived. The results are statistically significant. Respondents showed a high preference or complete flexibility in the mode of use attribute. And they were also found to have WTP for improvements in the life care attribute. The implications and quantitative results of this study are expected to be useful for policies and strategies in the 3G device market.

  • Numerous products have been created in a digital format in the era of digitization. At an early stage, such products were provided in the format of individual digital file, requiring the individuals to own products by downloading them on the personal devices. With the development of Internet network, people began to consume digital goods in a new mode called 'streaming.' Streaming is a service provided through access-based consumption mode based on Internet network. Rather than downloading each file, individuals can utilize such product and services by connecting the network to their own devices. Access-based digital goods are distinguished from traditional ownership-based digital goods such as downloaded contents, in that permanent ownership is not allowed. Taken this into account, this study attempts to investigate how individuals' perception toward digital goods, the psychological ownership, differs according to the consumption mode. The results show that individuals feel less psychological ownership toward access-based digital goods than ownership-based digital goods. Our study provides several avenues to both theory and practice.
