  • In the internet communication technology, authentication of the user is main task. So far, very popular researches have been proposed for user authentications based on user_id and password. These existing methods have some merits as well as demerits also. In this paper, we analyzed the existing authentication method problems and implement a secure PingPong-128 based key generator for internet technology. In our new scheme, we are using one time password and security card numbers to generate the secure tokens for the user and internet service provider.

  • One-time passwords are used just once and discarded, which makes it more secure than the repeatedly used conventional passwords. This paper proposes a challenge-response based one-time password generator on a user's mobile phone always carried with the user. The generator can provide an additional authentication for a user to issue a money transfer request within his Internet banking session on a PC. A currently used device for Internet banking generates a password that changes every 30 seconds or so, which allows a man-in-the-middle to use it for stealing money within the 30 seconds. Unlike such a device, the proposed generator resists against the man-in-the-middle attack by a novel challenge-response scheme, provides better accessability and protection against stolen devices. As the currently used devices do, it prevents any unauthorized transfer even if the victim's all other credentials are revealed through his PC infected with spyware such as a keyboard logger.

  • Passwords are a common method of identifying and authenticating a user who wishes to log on to a secure system. Password-based authentication techniques, however, do not provide strong security and recognized as being an poor form of protection. It is not all the responsibility of the user to control password and to protect its confidentiality. In this paper, confirm an appropriate response time and I propose a new and improved method of implementing two factor authentication using SMS via receiving apparatus(mobile and email).

  • '05. June, the first Internet banking accident occurred by the malignant cord. It discontinued security programs for protecting important financial informations. A computer hacker had made a collation of password, OTP(One Time Password) values etc and illegally withdraw one´s savings from the bank using the financial information. The attackers are continuously attempted with the hacking tool under bypass security programs as the vaccine program or the personal fire-wall. Therefore, an electronic financial system should be composed with the goal which is to protect financial informations from user's terminal to a banking server. In this paper, we make an analysis of menaces in electronic financial transactions and explain considerable security issues to enhance safety in Internet banking, CD/ATM and mobile banking.

  • Java card is one of promising smart card platform with java technology. Java card defines necessary packages and classes for Embedded device that have small memory such as smart card Jana card is compatible with EMV that is Industry specification standard and ISO-7816 that is international standard. However, Java card is not offers user authentication protocol. In this paper, We design and implement an user authentication protocol applicable wireless devices based on Java Card using standard 3GPP Specification (SMS), Java Card Specification (APDU), Cryptography and so on. Our Java Card user authentication techniques can possibly be applied to the area of M-Commerce, Wireless Security, E-Payment System, Mobile Internet, Global Position Service, Ubiquitous Computing and so on.

  • In this paper, re proposed scheme that it safely exchange encrypted keys without Trust Third Party(TTP) and Pre-distributing keys in ubiquitous environments. Existing paper assume that exist a TTP or already pre-distributed encrypted keys between nodes. However, there methods are not sufficient for wireless environments without infrastructure. Some existing paper try to use the Diffie-Hellman algorithm for the problem, but it is vulnerable to Replay and Man-in-the middle attack from the malicious nodes. Therefore, Authentication problem between nodes is solved by modified the Diffie-Hellman algorithm using ${\mu}TESLA$. We propose safe, lightweight, and robust pair-wise agreement algorithm adding. One Time Password(OTP) using timestamp to modified the Diffie-Hellman in ubiquitous environments, and verify a safety about proposed algorithm.
