The Role of Cognitive, Affective, Conative, and Behavioral Loyalty in a Convergence Mobile Messenger Service (융복합 모바일 메신저 서비스에서 인지적, 감정적, 능동적, 행동적 충성도의 역할)

  • The fierce competition of mobile messenger services (MMS) allows MMS providers to perform a variety of marketing campaigns and business activities to enhance user loyalty. The applied model in this study is based on Oliver's four-stage loyalty model for the formation processes of user loyalty about MMS. While social network formation and service quality are the key elements of cognitive loyalty, positive mood and negative mood are the key components of affective loyalty in the study. Conative loyalty is captured by commitment. The data of 249 KakaoTalk users at least five times for three months is empirically tested based on the research model using partial least squares. The analysis of test identifies that positive feeling and commitment significantly influences behavioral loyalty, whereas negative feeling plays a significant role in inhibiting behavioral loyalty. The findings of this study show that social network formation and service quality significantly affect only positive feeling. The analysis results reveal several insights that can help MMS managers understand the roles of cognitive, affective, conative, and behavioral loyalty in the MMS environment.

The Structural Relationship among Trust in MIM, Attitude toward Emoticons, and the Intention to Purchase Emoticons in Kakao Talk (모바일 인스턴트 메신저에 대한 신뢰, 이모티콘 사용 태도와 이모티콘 구매의도 사이의 구조적 관계: 카카오톡 사례)

  • The communication via MIM(Mobile Instant Messenger) has unique characteristics; one of them is use of emoticons. Although using emoticons in MIM is getting a lot of attention from business fields and emoticons markets in MIM is growing rapidly, there are little researches focused on emoticons in MIM in consumer behaviors and marketing area. So, the purpose of this study is to fill this theoretical and practical gap. For this purpose, we explore the effect of and trust in MIM system and attitude toward use of emoticons on purchase intention to emotions in MIM. Our study used structural equation modeling analysis; the results showed that perceived benefits and perceived risk to MIM affected trust in MIM system significantly, more specifically, while perceived benefits affected trust in MIM system positively, perceived risk affected trust in MIM system negatively. We also found that perceived usefulness of emoticon in MIM and flow experience influenced attitude toward use of emoticons positively. Lastly, trust in MIM system and attitude toward use of emoticons had positive effect on purchase intention to emoticons in MIM. The implication and limitations of this study are also discussed.

The Role of Motives, Flow, and Social Influence in Attitude and Purchase Intention to Emoticons (이모티콘 사용동기, 플로우, 사회적 영향력이 이모티콘 사용태도 및 구매의도에 미치는 영향)

  • In recent year, graphic emoticons in MIM(Mobile Instant Messenger) play an important role not as a valuable communication methods, but as main business model for MIM service providers. Although the graphic emoticons in MIM are regarded as a commercial product, there has been little systematic research reflecting consumers' perspectives. In order to fill this theoretical and practice gap, the study is designed to explore the structural relationships among emoticon use motives, attitude, and purchasing intention to emoticons in context of MIM. The results showed that emoticon use motives in MIM were composed of two main factors, perceived usefulness and perceived enjoyment. And we also verified that both perceived usefulness and perceived enjoyment positively impact flow in communication with using emoticons and social influence. Lastly, flow and social influence were positively related to attitude toward using emoticons and attitude also was related to purchase intention to emoticons in MIM, positively. However, flow and social influence did not have a positive influence on purchase intention to emoticons directly. The implications and limitations of this study are also discussed.

  • The paradigm of communication is changing by the generalization of mobile computers and the extension of network service. In the mobile messenger communication, people are increasingly using character emoticons to substitute linear text. This means that the character emoticons are functioning as narrative characters so that they are becoming the nonlinear techno-code, which can substitute for the alphabet code. As Vil$\acute{e}$m Flusser said, the post-modern communication is arrived. In this kind of communication, storytelling with character emoticons are effective enough to tell various stories. In this point of view, this paper tries to prove the functions of character emoticons and suggests the classification of the character emoticon series. This paper also structures the post-modern communication model as a new paradigm of visual communication.

  • The growth of the mobile app markets has made it popular among people who recommend relevant information about restaurants. The recommendation service app based on AI Chatbot is that it can efficiently manage time and finances by making it easy for restaurant consumers to easily access the information they want anytime, anywhere. Eating out consumers use smartphone applications for finding restaurants, making reservations, and getting reviews and how to use them. In addition, social attention has recently been focused on the research of AI chatbot. The Chatbot is combined with the mobile messenger platform and enabling various services due to the text-type interactive service. It also helps users to find the services and data that they need information tersely. Applying this to restaurant recommendation services will increase the reliability of the information in providing personal information. In this paper, an artificial intelligence chatbot-based smartphone restaurant recommendation app using personalization information is proposed. The recommendation service app utilizes personalization information such as gender, age, interests, occupation, search records, visit records, wish lists, reviews, and real-time location information. Users can get recommendations for restaurants that fir their purpose through chatting using AI chatbot. Furthermore, it is possible to check real-time information about restaurants, make reservations, and write reviews. The proposed app uses a collaborative filtering recommendation system, and users receive information on dining out using artificial intelligence chatbots. Through chatbots, users can receive customized services using personal information while minimizing time and space limitations.

  • 최근 유비쿼터스 환경이 도래함에 따라, 모바일 장비의 이용이 급격하게 증가하였다. 또한 이러한 모바일 장비와 더불어 각종 모바일 기반의 서비스 들이 나타나고 있다. 특히, 모바일 기반의 대표적인 서비스 중에서 메신저 서비스는 다중사용자간의 대화, 파일 전송, 위치 추적 등의 다양한 서비스를 제공한다. 그러나 이러한 메신저 서비스의 수가 증가함에 따라, 사용자에게 선택의 어려움을 줄 수 있다. 또한, 이러한 각각의 메신저 벤더간의 프로토콜이 다르므로, 메신저간의 통합이 어렵다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이기종 메신저간의 통합을 위한 에이전트 기반의 모바일 메신저 서비스의 아키텍처를 소개한다. 제안하는 메신저 서비스는 멀티 에이전트로 구성되며, 각각의 메신저 서비스의 사용자를 에이전트화 하여 에이전트간의 협업과 통신을 통한 메시지 송, 수신 및 파일 전송 등의 다양한 기능을 수행한다. 또한 제안하는 메신저 서비스는 에이전트 표준인 FIPA-ACL통신 규약을 준수함으로써, 에이전트 기반의 이기종 메신저 서비스와의 통신을 통한 통합 프레임워크를 제공한다.

  • Data of 650 college students in the nation were collected by mail in 2001 Nov. Students preference over cyber communication methods were SMS message, messenger, blog, e-mail in that order. Younger students prefer SMS messages while older students prefer e-mail in relative term. Mobile phone is used more for SMS message than voice communication which is more so with females. The rate of non e-mail use is 57.8%, particularly males(61.9%) and younger students(69.4%) are higher. E-mail, once was very high in use, is being replaced by new media. Suggestion for e-learning environment are being connected, immediacy, active use of blog, more use of fun multimedia information.

  • In this study, we developed a system for information sharing and cooperation support system among the accident response organizations to enable prompt and efficient response in responding to chemical accidents. In other words, by applying mobile messenger function, it is proposed to improve the chemical accident response system that provides information necessary for accident response promptly and accurately, and facilitates bi-directional communication between accident response organizations and field responders, thereby enabling efficient and organic response. As a result of comparing the information provision time before and after the chemical accident of chemical accident response information sharing system, the ratio of processing of substance information and chemical air diffusion information within 30 minutes was improved by 8% and 32%, respectively. As a result of this study, applying the chemical accident response information sharing system to the chemical accident response is expected to contribute to the improvement of the system and the ability to cope with the accident more effectively.

We try verify systems as mentioned above with variety scenarios and suggest improvement plan that is leaking Non-specified private information.

  • 본 논문에서는 안드로이드 스마트폰 환경에서 높은 점유율을 가진 카카오톡 모바일 메신저 앱에 대하여 행정안전부가 고시한 Android-JAVA 시큐어 코딩가이드의 입력 데이터 검증 및 표현, API악용, 보안특성, 시간 및 상태, 에러처리, 코드 품질, 캡슐화 등 18가지 보안 취약점을 분석하고, 해당 취약점에 대한 시큐어 코딩 기법을 적용한다. 먼저 현재 상용화되고 있는 카카오톡 모바일 메신저 코드를 역공학(리버스엔지니어링)방법을 이용하여 코드단에서 소스를 분석한다. 실제 코드에서 시큐어 코딩이 안드로이드 스마트폰 환경에서 행정안전부가 고시한 Android-JAVA 시큐어 코딩가이드를 기준으로 취약한 부분을 찾고, 적용이 안 되어 있는 부분에 안드로이드 환경에 맞는 시큐어 코딩 기법을 적용한다.
