  • In this paper, we propose a simple one-click marketing solution for mobile devices which can advertise a product which is embedded in a mobile video while watching the video on a smartphone. If a specific product of interest appears in the video to the user, one can simply click on the product in the video and a pop-up window with information about the product is proposed. The implementation of the system is expected to enable users to gain real-time information about the product while watching the video without having to search for the product again after watching the movie, and thereby facilitating more mobile commerce. We use a two-fold system to prevent the failure of tracking which often occurs on a single online tracking system, so that the user cannot always get the commercial product information.

  • This paper describes a performance of a satellite tracking antenna control system for mobile DBS reception. In order to improve the tracking speed and the stability of this system, a directional sensor function is added to a conventional left-right tracking algorithm. The satellite tracking experiments of the fabricated antenna system for the DBS reception were performed at a highway and an urban area. The measured AGC signal level on the highway was observed above the level to watch television. Therefore, an excellent performance of the hardware system with the tracking algorithm compensated for the directional sensor was confirmed.

  • In this paper, we analyzed the known agent tracking models and proposed a new agent tracking model based on the distributed event service that always assures reliable tracking. Also we experimented the Performance of the event servers on the agent monitoring system that implements the distributed event service and showed their performance to decrement gracefully. The proposed tracking model doesn't make only several clients trace a mobile agent which moves among agent servers autonomously, but also supports two types of agent tracking agent location tracking that notifies agent location to the clients and path establishment that maintains reliable connection between agent servers for message delivery.

  • This paper presents a method to design an adaptive controller for the kinematic model of a two-wheeled welding mobile robot (WMR) with unknown parameters. We propose a nonlinear controller based on the Lyapunov function to enhance the tracking properties of the WMR. The WMR can track any smooth curved welding path at a constant velocity of the welding point. The system has three degrees of freedom including two wheels and one torch slider. Torch slider motion is used for fast tracking. To design the tracking performance, the errors from WMR to steel wall is defined, and the controller is designed to drive the errors to zero as fast as possible. The effectiveness of the proposed controller is shown through simulation results.

  • This paper describes the path tracking control for a mobile robot which has two casters at the front and rear to keep balance and two driving wheels on the left and right sides of its body. Power wheeled steering method is adapted to control heading of the robot. It is very difficult to find appropriate feedback gains when linear regulator control scheme is adapted to path tracking con-trol of this type of robot. Therefore in this paper we propose the path tracking control algorithm using the fuzzy logic control scheme for this type of root. Simulation to prove the validity of the proposed two algorithms is performed. The results are reported as last part in this paper.

  • This paper proposes a hybrid visual servoing algorithm for the object tracking by a mobile robot with the stereo camera. The mobile robot with the stereo camera performs an object recognition and object tracking using the SIFT and CAMSHIFT algorithms for the hybrid visual servoing. The CAMSHIFT algorithm using stereo camera images has been used to obtain the three-dimensional position and orientation of the mobile robot. With the hybrid visual servoing, a stable balance control has been realized by a control system which calculates a desired angle of the center of gravity whose location depends on variations of link rotation angles of the manipulator. A PID controller algorithm has adopted in this research for the control of the manipulator since the algorithm is simple to design and it does not require unnecessary complex dynamics. To demonstrate the control performance of the hybrid visual servoing, real experiments are performed using the mobile manipulator system developed for this research.

  • In this paper, an intelligent control strategy for a mobile vehicle, based on the technology of the artificial neural network in a Neurocomputer, is presented. The mobile vehicle learned recognizing and driving knowledge by a neurocomputer. Moment Invariants computation was used to extract the shape of objects. The technologies of both neurocomputer and Neumann-type computer are applied into the control system, and make the mobile vehicle be capable of tracking designated objects and avoiding obstacles.

  • This paper presents an algorithm that the mobile robot track accurately a moving object with information from a CCD camera mounted on mobile robot. Singular Value Decomposition is adapted to remove the measurement noise of a Raw data of CCD. The mobile robot estimate the trajectory using Kalman filter and track the path of a moving object with a servo motor. Computer simulation results are showed that the efficient tracking system for the mobile robot is designed properly.
