휴대폰 앱을 이용한 건물 수평진동의 상시진동계측 (Ambient Vibration Measurement of Buildings Horizontal Vibration Using a Mobile Phone Application)

  • The cases of conducting the vibration measurement using the mobile phone with regard to the building's horizontal vibration are very rare in Korea and foreign countries. Therefore, this study analyzed the horizontal vibration nature of the building using the mobile phone targeting 5 tall buildings, and reviewed about the applicability of the mobile phone vibration measuring instrument through the comparison/verification with the data of the existing vibration measuring instrument. The peak of the measured time series waveform was measured clearly and it showed a similar value to the existing natural frequency.

패션 비즈니스에서 홀로그램 기술을 이용한 마케팅 활용 방안 (The Application Methods of Hologram Technology in Fashion Business)

  • This study analyzed cases that applied hologram technology in the fashion industry in order to provide basic information for research on fashion marketing using hologram technology. The results of this study are as follows. A hologram was applied to fashion businesses in various ways including fashion shows, outdoor signboards, hologram windows or screens in stores, and launching shows or exhibitions. Most of these cases were foreign fashion brands, which utilized hologram technology actively for formulating a new brand image or for advertising products. Among Korean brands, however, there are not many cases of hologram application. Today, as-being the age of smart devices, the mobile advertisement market is growing rapidly among smart phone users. DKNY and Puma are providing information on styling through smart phone applications, and the Adidas stores in Germany also allow the customers to buy goods by entering a simple code through the smart phone. Recently, new devices are being introduced one by one, which display 2D digital contents in 3D holograms by combining mobile and hologram technologies. The marketing of fashion products is not just for supplying products but is required to satisfy the consumers' five senses. Therefore, the development of experiential contents based on the combination of mobile and hologram technologies will open new potential for profitable business models.

국내 이동전화 서비스 이용에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (Analysis of the Causal Relationships Among the Factors that Influence the Use of Mobile Phone Services)

  • A lot of researchers have been interested in the factors influencing the use of mobile phone services. Most of the previous studies, however, verified only the research models developed by the authors. They did not consider which model agrees better with the real situation. This study presents six alternative models based on various previous studies, and compares the data fitness of the models. A Web survey of mobile phone users collected 2,217 cases. Statistical analyses, using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling), show that the fitness of the simplest alternative model is better than that of any other model. The simplest model has no causal relationship among exogenous factors, and proposes that all of exogenous factors have direct impacts on the customer satisfaction. In addition, the analyses say that corporate and brand image and additional service are more important than the other exogenous factors such as communication quality.

  • The development of mobile communication technology is transforming the market of mobile communication devices, which is used to be merely for simple communication, into the one which offers features of personal digital assistant (PDA), fax communication and Internet access. Unlike a mobile phone which comes out as a complete package and whose functions cannot be changed, a smart phone can be upgraded by its user, adding or removing apps as he pleases. OS's of smart phones are iOS-based Apple, Google Android, Window Mobile, and others. Due to its convenience and powerful features, many people use smart phones its high price. On the other hand, consumer complaints are rising on poor A/S for occasional malfunction. This study analyzes how A/S cases can be classified into groups according to quality factors. We evaluate factors such as consumer impression and consumer satisfaction. By dual quality evaluation using KANO method, we would like to show the different A/S strategy for smart phones, compared with mobile phones.

온라인게임 서비스 이용 소비자의 연령별.유형별 소비자문제 연구 (Study on Consumer Problems Related to Use of Online Game Services by Type and Age)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the types of consumer problems involving the use of online game services in Korea. This study analyzed the consumer damage cases by age and type that were reported to the Korea Consumer Protection Board (KCPB). The results of this study are as follows: The online game complaints varied by age. In the case of children, most complaints involved phone charging online game fees without parents' consent. There were similarities in the victimization of teens and children according to reason for complaint, handling result and type of damage. However, based on method of charging, mobile phone and credit card payments were causes in the case of teen victimization. Meanwhile, complaints among adults showed more complexity than the previous two groups such as cases relating to online game companies illegally seizing game items and game accounts, and charging fees for unused services caused by identity theft. By type of charging method, most complaints involved phone and mobile phone payments. According to the analysis result of online game victims, the monetary damage of consumers did not differ among socio-demographic variables such as age, residence, gender and occupation but there was difference in the method of charging. In the handling period, differences could be seen by age, year, gender and type of damage.

휴대폰 사용자의 개인정보 보호 의식 연구 (A Study of Privacy Protection Awareness of Mobile Phone Users)

  • 무선 통신 기술이 모바일 기기들에 속속 도입됨에 따라 개인의 프라이버시도 침해 당할 가능성이 높아지고 있다. 그한 예로 오스카 수상식에 참석한 패리스 힐튼의 스마트폰이 스웨덴 해커들에 의해 해킹 당하는 일이 발생했다. 본논문에서는 어떤 종류의 개인정보들이 침해 사건처럼 해커들에 의해 노출될 수 있는지 탐구하였다. 본 연구를 수행하면서, 모바일 기기의 플래시메모리에 어떤 종류의 정보가 저장되어 있는지 검사하기 위한 기술적인 분석은 기기마다 독점적인 방식으로 제조되었기 때문에 기술적으로 거의 불가능임을 알게 되었다. 저장된 내용을 검사하기 위한 범용 도구를 발견할 수 없었다. 이러한 기술적인 어려움을 인식함에 따라, 개인정보에 관련된 의식수준을 알기 위해 설문지에 의한 조사를 실시하게 되었다. 설문조사는 가장 정평이 나있는 온라인 조사 사이트 월드 서베이에서 시행했다. 응답 결과에서 열명 중 아홉 명이 개인 주소와 같은 정보를 저장한다는 놀라운 사실을 발견하였다. 전화번호, 성명, 개인계좌번호와 같은 정보들도 저장한다는 것이 밝혀졌다.

왜 21세기 한국 사업장에서 메탄올 중독 실명 사고가 발생했을까? (Why did non-oral occupational methanol poisoning occur in South Korea in the 21st century?)

  • Objectives: Six cases of non-oral occupational methanol poisoning were found in mobile phone parts manufacturers in South Korea during the period from 22 January 2016 to 5 October 2016. We conducted this study to determine the cause of the accident including social environment factor. Methods: We interviewed the cases. Based on that, we described this poisoning accident narratively and arranged the evolution of the accident in chronological order. We used the Haddon matrix method to investigate the cause of the accident. Results: It was found that six cases were all dispatched workers who were under poor working condition including working time exceeded 12 hours a day, not given basic occupational health and safety information etc. Occupational disease associated with dispatched work was difficult to be reported. 2 cases were not able to identify the cause of the disease within one year. Conclusions: In short, the direct cause of the poisoning accident was that workers were exposed to high concentration of methanol(over 1,000 ppm). One of the main fundamental cause is that dispatched worker is rampant in the supply chain of mobile phone production. To protect dispatched workers, appropriate occupational safety health measures are needed urgently.

모비키즈: 통신전자파 노출과 어린이청소년의 뇌종양에 관한 환자 -대조군 연구 프로토콜 (Mobi-kids: A Case-control Study Protocol on Electromagnetic Field Radiation Exposure from Telecommunication and Brain Tumors in Children and Adolescents)

  • Objectives: To introduce a protocol of Mobi-kids study which was aimed to examine an association between radiofrequency (RF) radiation exposure by mobile phone use and brain tumor risk in children and adolescents. Methods: The Mobi-kids study was a multinational matched case control study using a standardized protocol with the number of subjects targeted about 1,000 cases and 2,000 controls aged 10 to 24. In Mobi-Kids Korea, the source population was restricted to Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi-do province. Eligible cases of primary brain tumor (glioma, meningioma, and others) were diagnosed from January 2012 to June 2015. Eligible controls were appendicitis patients operated during the study period. Two controls were matched on age, gender, and study region for 1 case. Information about pattern and history of mobile phone use and other covariates were obtained by face to face interview by trained interviewer. The Mobi-kids study has been involved in Mobi-expo as a validation study about mobile phone use, XGridmaster to localize tumor in the brain for RF energy calculation, and histological review for validation of diagnosis. Results: The Mobi-kids was the first and largest study in children and adolescents to estimate risk of brain tumor in association with the RF energy absorption in the brain estimated by mobile phone use. Forty-six-cases and 54 controls were collected as of September 2014 in Korea. Conclusions: The meaningful results of the study were expected because of the largest sample size, high validity of EMF exposure assessment as well as the susceptible study populationof children and adolescents.

휴대폰 User Interface 개발을 위한 가이드라인 (Guidelines for Mobile Phone User Interface Development)

  • 신기술의 지속적인 적용으로 휴대폰의 사용 난이도가 높아짐에 따라 user interface의 중요성이 강조되고 있다. User interface 개발 프로세스의 복잡도와 이에 따르는 로드 또한 지속적으로 높아지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 체계화된 휴대폰 user interface의 개발 방법론에 대하여 논의하였다. 기존 휴대폰 개발 프로세스를 검토하고, 이에 따르는 개발상의 이슈사항을 살피고, 4단계의 가이드라인 적용을 통한 user interface 개발 프로세스를 제안하고 있다. 기존 유저 인터페이스와 관련한 연구들은 대부분 개발 대상에 대해 집중되어 있으나 좋은 user interface는 좋은 UI개발 프로세스를 통하여 실현될 수 있으며, 때문에 UI 매니지먼트 레벨의 논의는 제품 UI 개발과는 별도로 다루어질 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서 제시된 4단계 가이드라인은 휴대폰의 UI 개발뿐만 아니라 타제품 및 서비스의 UI개발에도 응용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

A Study on the Changing Direction of Korean Education in the Age of the Fourth Industrial Revolution -focusing on Using the Mobile device-

  • This study has an ultimate purpose to find some change direction of education in the Korean language education field, that is, in and out of the Korean language classroom keeping up with social changes. Especially, this study will investigate progressive educational ways in terms of not only developing software, but also grafting hardware relating to mobile technologies. For this, this study will classify the cases of teaching and learning happened in and out of Korean language classrooms and to introduce practical ways of education to apply mobile technologies according to the each case. As a concrete method, this paper proposed a change plan of classroom change that incorporates 'Miracast' and 'smart phone' and a change plan out of the classroom using mesh. This study can be meaningful in that the teaching and learning are linked more organically through the smart phone and the education is called 'IoT world' so that both teachers and learners can easily access education.
