As the number of mobile device users increases, many researches on peer-to-peer(P2P) systems in mobile environments have been carried out. In this paper, we propose a couple of double-layered P2P file sharing systems to overcome the 'flooding' problem in previous mobile P2P systems. We classify peers into two groups, super peers and sub-peers to establish new routing tables. A super peer manages its sub-peers in the systems. The first proposed system partitions the service area into small cells, each of which is a square. Each super peer is located near the center of the square. The second system selects super peers which have the largest number of adjacent peers. As file transmission and file searches are managed mainly by super peers, unnecessary multi-broadcasting could be avoided. The experimental results show that the proposed systems outperform a typical file sharing system in terms of the amount of message traffic with about $1.2{\sim}1.6$ times improvement on the average.

According to the development of streaming services with P2P and mobile network technologies, researches to enhance the service quality in mobile environment have been proposed. However, streaming services considering high-speed mobile environment and characteristics of heterogenous terminals have been hindered from being provided with the required quality from user because of bandwidth congestion between selfish peers of existing P2P system. It is also prone to long delay and loss in accordance with the repeated traffic amounts because there are no optimized solution for traffic localization. The structure to enhance peer contribution for service differentiation and peer selection with clustering scheme with location information of terminal can satisfy both users and service providers with service quality and efficiency. In this paper, we propose an incentive mechanism and resource distribution scheme with user contribution and traffic cost information based on user location, which make mobile users increase the satisfaction of service quality in LTE environments.

In the early stage of P2P, the technology was limited to narrow usage of file sharing, but currently, P2P technology has become essential to maximize the efficiency between associated technologies without additional deployment of high costly infrastructure and also the burden of the server. Especially, P2P media streaming service is a highly attractive service to mobile users. which requires a higher quality in the mobile environment in accordance with the development of technology of wired network as well as better mobile terminals. However, P2P technology should consider the trade-off between 'peer selfishness' and QoE for providing fairness. The P2P system also try to maximize the resource utilization through an incentive mechanism for service differentiation and encourage peers to contribute continuously for improving the overall system performance. In this paper, we propose an point-based incentive mechanism based on peer's contribution level and energy availability for service differentiation. We also introduce that the proposed mechanism efficiently enhances the system performance as the peer with incentive using contribution and energy obtains more effective resource distribution.
As the mobile technology advances, file searching among the mobile device users becomes more important. In this paper, we propose the uniform grid, greedy, and MIS P2P systems that have double-layered topology to search files efficiently for mobile ad-hoc networks. In these systems, peers are classified into two groups, super-peers and sub-peers, and each super-peer manages its neighboring sub-peers. In the proposed systems, each super-peer maintains the appropriate information of its sub-peers so that when a peer requests a file, the request is sent to its super-peers and then to neighboring super-peers. Hence the proposed systems could avoid multi-broadcasting and reduce network overheads. The experimental results show that the proposed systems outperform a single-layered P2P system in terms of the average number of messages to find target files. Especially the MISsystem improves by reducing the average number of messages by 48.9% while maintaining the same search accuracy.
Due to the popularity of mobile phones, Peer-to-Peer (P2P) content sharing in mobile phones is highly desirable, especially in a mobile data connection. In addition, there has been an increasing demand for content sharing applications for P2P communication in Android-based smartphones as ubiquitous mobile devices. However, due to wireless network limits, unstable characteristic and restricted storage space, mobile users confront challenges in establishing connections and sharing video frames with other users. To solve this issue, we propose an architectural design and implementation of key frame sharing application that uses Chord, a distributed lookup protocol to establish a content sharing platform for mobile devices, combined with the Chord SDK based on Android. Our proposed system enables users easily to share key information on video data in real-time over a wireless network without manual processing of devices which join or leave the group and cost associated with the 3G/4G network.

Generally, the current commercial cloud system is hosted by the centralization large datacenter. However, the other clouding forms existed and one of them is the P2P cloud. The P2P Cloud is a distributed systems, is freedom to join and leave and is possible to provide the IaaS. Commonly, P2P Cloud System is based on Pure-P2P System. Since a number of connection paths exist, it has a high reliability and easily scalability of the network. However, there are disadvantages of the slow rate of route because of looking up the all peers in order to search for the peer. In this paper, it proposes the P2P cloud system based on super-peer P2P. Super-peer P2P system has fast routing time, because of searching for cluster unit and it also can has high reliability and high scalability. We designs the super Peer cloud service and proposes the system model and Resource Allocation Algorithm for IaaS in Super peer P2P environment.

Intelligent agents to learn users' tendency have learn uscrs' tendency by sufficient users information and training time. When the intelligent agents is used in ubiquitous environment, users must wait for intelligent agents to learn, so user may be can't get proper services. In this paper we proposed an intelligent P2P mobile agent system that can learn users' tendency in real-time by sharing users' resource. The system shared users contexts on four places and made feel groups which was composed of similar users. When users' service which had the highest correlation coefficient in the peer groups was suggested, users were satisfied over $80\%$.

JXTA does not need to be managed by the central server, and has the property that can communicate with any device that is connected to the network. Thus, JXTA can be applied to the communication between heterogeneous P2P systems. This paper deals with the design of a data exchange system utilizing the JXTA's foregoing property, which is able to connect P2P systems with different protocols and APIs.

Recently the rapid growth of Internet and the construction of high speed networks make many kinds of multimedia services possible. But most of current multimedia services are designed being by client/server model, which incurs high load of central server. In order to solve this problem, we propose a peer-to-peer network-based discovery mechanism for multimedia services. In the proposed scheme, mobile agents that have autonomy and mobility are used to search the location of resources. Use of mobile agents can solve the loss problem of the search result that occurs when the network is unsettled in pure peer-to-peer network. It also supports interoperability in heterogeneous system environments. In the proposed scheme, each host maintains the location information of resources which are locally requested or recently requested by other hosts. So, the proposed scheme has faster response time than the pre-existing mechanisms in pure peer-to-peer network environments.

Many peer-to-peer (p2p) systems have been studied in distributed, ubiquitous computing environments. Distributed hash table (DHT)-based p2p systems can improve load-balancing even though locality utilization and user mobility are not guaranteed. We propose a mobile locality-based hierarchical p2p overlay network (MLH-Net) to address locality problems without any other services. MLH-Net utilizes mobility features in a mobile environment. MLH-Net is constructed as two layers, an upper layer formed with super-nodes and a lower layer formed with normal-nodes. Because super-nodes can share advertisements, we can guarantee physical locality utilization between a requestor and a target during any discovery process. To overcome a node failure, we propose a simple recovery mechanism. The simulation results demonstrate that MLH-Net can decrease discovery routing hops by 15% compared with JXTA and 66% compared with Chord.
