An Exploratory Study on the Proper Length of Article in Mobile Era (모바일 시대의 기사 길이에 관한 탐색적 연구)

  • What is an appropriate length of an article in the mobile era producing new tastes of contents combining computing and mobile communication? Is it still valid to have a lengthy article as high level journalism even in the mobile era? Is there any possibility to have a short article combination to give us readability and the amount of information? This study aims to find some answers to these questions. The length of articles were controlled with a field experiment; from an article of 346 syllables(including spaces between syllables) which does not need finger scrolling on a mobile phone to articles of 633, 1033, 1368 syllables(including spaces between syllables) which frequently appear in newspapers and broadcasting news program. All the main themes were same for 4 articles which have different length. Three hundred and eighty four students viewed one of the 4 articles through mobile phone or newspaper. Each participant checked their preference and evaluated quality on the article, were asked to recall contents of the article. In newspaper group, articles with 346 or 1033 syllables were highly evaluated. Mobile group seemed to prefer articles of 346 or 633 syllables. In conclusion, we need to consider various strategies shortening the length of an article into 346 or 633 syllables as a basic format to meet the neEds of mobile era.

  • In terms of cultural history, museum architecture represents culture of society in an era. exhibition space which represents the society and culture can't be fixed in the same way in a current mobile era. Especially, mobility of exhibition can be able to give audience even opportunities to enjoy. As a result, mobile exhibition space that functions as total space for everybody and the study of this issue is necessary. As mobile exhibition space is in the middle of development, there are many things to make up for the weak points. In order to make mobile exhibition space more competitive, development of new form and material is needed most. besides, limited development on interior plans which has been overlooked in terms of mobility is needed. Also, there should be more aggressive and powerful marketing and promotion for mobile exhibition space. To equalize the metropolitan area and local exhibition space and revitalize domestic exhibition space, the utility of mobile exhibition space which is movable and economic is highly expected more than previous fixed exhibition space.

  • This study aims to investigate the determinants that can influence customer satisfaction and loyalty. Compared to some of the determinants that have been investigated by other scholars before, this study also includes a new approach to mobile food-ordering that has only appeared within the Chinese fast-food industry in recent years. It is very important to test if the convenience of mobile ordering services can influence customer satisfaction, as more and more customers are using mobile apps to order food, especially in the 4th Industrial Revolution Era. Research data mostly was collected from customers who visited one of five famous Western fast-food restaurants (KFC, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Subway, and Burger King) in China. The results show that not only price, service quality, food quality, and the physical environment can significantly affect customer satisfaction but also the convenience of mobile ordering services, a new determinant accompanied by the fast development of IoT technology.

  • In recent years, with the rapid development of network live streaming, with the popularization of mobile Internet and mobile terminal equipment, the live streaming industry has ushered in great development. A sudden outbreak of the COVID-19 makes the PC end live streaming which has been developed for many years enter a new era, giving birth to the rapid development of mobile end live streaming. Not only because of the expansion of the live streaming industry market, the rise of the trend of the national live streaming, but also because the mobile live streaming is more and more valued by the brand, becoming an important tool for brand communication and product promotion. It is because of its unique communication characteristics that some scholars believe that the era of precision marketing has been opened by live network. Mobile live from the initial fans to reward and promote the brand, to now in the form of live marketing, consumers can "buy while watching". The time period from the understanding of the goods to the final completion of the purchase behavior has been greatly shortened. It is conducive to improving sales volume and brand awareness. Marketing communication through mobile live platform has become a popular way of brand marketing. This paper mainly studies the current situation, methods, problems and development strategies of brand marketing activities with the help of live streaming platform under the background of mobile internet. Taking Tmall live streaming platform as an example, this paper analyzes several ways of brand marketing with the help of live streaming and some universal characteristics of live streaming marketing by using the relevant theories of marketing. In view of the problems existing in live streaming brand marketing, it puts forward relevant Improvement measures. First of all, the paper puts forward the innovation in content and form. Second, the paper suggests that we should make full use of new technologies such as AR and VR to effectively combine with mobile live broadcasting. Third, the paper explores the integration of multiple channels to create intelligent marketing, and further optimize the live interface of mobile terminals. Finally, the paper emphasizes that the government departments and the platform itself should jointly supervise the mobile network live streaming platform and establish a good live broadcasting environment for mobile terminals. With the help of mobile live streaming, the marketing mode has an important impact on the promotion of brand marketing. How to make better use of this business mode and accurately use mobile live broadcast to promote brand marketing, so that enterprises can create greater profits, is also of profound research significance.

  • Convergence services are very important to mobile operators in next generation mobile networks. However, mobile operators cannot deal with all convergence services because there are numerous convergence services. Thus, they should select and develop main technologies to provide convergence services which are areas to grow our business.   • With the global COVID-19 pandemic, the tourism sector and all consumption have contracted with the untact era. Wine will also be sold and developed in various ways non-face-to-face in the future. Therefore, it is necessary to develop apps and web servers that focus on health in the era of single-person households and non-face-to-face. This study used facial recognition data based on photos of adult men and women in their 40s and 50s to analyze the Sasang constitution through a mobile app and web server, and suggested wine recommendations suitable for their constitution. First, the user's body information is entered. And through the facial recognition mobile app, recommend the right wine after analyzing the body type. if it's not like the first recommended wine, it is configured to receive another wine recommendation. In the future, the number of single-person households will increase further, and in the age of well-being, wine recommendations that fit my body will be useful.   • In order to establish a digital-based use environment for the provision of new information services suitable for the 5G era, it is necessary to discuss the direction of service provision by the National Library of Children and Young Adults in the 5G era. Based on utilization services in other fields, library services in the 5G era, including the development and provision of employee education and training services, ultra-high-definition and 360-degree realistic contents and education on library use, provision of multi-dimensional realistic media streaming broadcasting services, provision of telepresence education programs, activation of virtual communities, implementation of hologram performance halls/exhibit centers, and provision of unmanned book delivery services, environment monitoring, safety monitoring, and customized services, were proposed. In addition, based on 5G service, 5G technology, and library application direction, advancing into a producing and supporting base for ultra-realistic and immersive contents in the 5G era, strengthening online and mobile services in the non-contact era, and establishing a smart library environment were proposed as the service provision direction for the National Library of Children and Young Adults in the 5G era.

  • In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, digital transformation is emerging in the education and learning fields. As the use of the mobile Internet and mobile devices has become a daily life, mobile learning that supports a variety of learning in a mobile environment is drawing attention. Mobile learning applications (apps) are expected to expand their use by providing a convenient learning environment anytime, anywhere. This study investigates the use of mobile learning apps in English education, which is one of the most popular learning areas, and empirically examines the factors that influence the continuous use of mobile learning apps. In particular, it analyzes the differences between Chinese and Korean users. The results of this study provide theoretical and practical implications to promote the development of mobile apps suitable for mobile learning environments and the sustainable user growth in mobile learning.

SNS has not only economical values but also social communication toll to exchange and share views of specific issues with other users. Social influential and personal emotion factor is a factor of community relation. Thus SNS contribute to self-construction, interpersonal relations and public sphere. This internet ethics of mobile Era will makes people recognize the correct internet ethics information and do it, suggest the solution for interpersonal internet environment.

  • Mankind has been attempting to live a happy and safe family life in a residential space. Due to the advent of the mobile phone in the 1990s and the smart phone in the 2000s, when the information and communication age came, human life has been innovatively changed. The revolution of human civilization led to the Neolithic Revolution and the Iron Age, followed by a smart phone revolutionizing human life, and the revolution faces with the era of info-communication, smart phones became a daily life and the fourth industrial revolution. The fourth industrial revolution is an era of info-communication technology (ICT), creating a new paradigm across human life through technological developments such as artificial intelligence (AI), IoT, big data, mobile, and cloud. The smart home is actively researched in a direction to support the overall human life as a representative future residential culture paradigm. However, the study considering the needs according to the lifestyle, functional characteristics of each living space and human lifestyle of the Phono Sapiens era where smart phones live like daily life was relatively insufficient. In addition, research on smart home service design should be considered from the apartment residential space planning stage. Therefore, this study has significance in suggesting the direction of research on human-centered smart home service design considering the characteristics of each living space and resident's life-style in the smart phone era.
