RAM (Reliability, Availability and Maintenance) has been applied to design and analysis tools which affects system's operational sustainability and its life cycle cost as RAM-c(2009 DoD). RAM-c plays also an important role to guarantee the system engineering for mission assurance. Reliability is highly related to the probability of system failure. Availability means mission capability or the condition of ready to mission. Maintenance includes both the repair to recover the system in the event of failure/unexpected breakdown and proactive maintenance to prolong the design service life of the system or machinery. It is the purpose that this paper is to analyze and conclude the objective service life of UAV. The more UAV is operated, the less the level of its reliability becomes. Repairing failures and supplying spare parts on time, system reliability could be improved up until the time over target. Applying statistical Weibull distributions, this paper suggests the analysis of the design service life and economic life of UAV based on RAM-c with operational data.

Need for agile satellite increases for performing various mission due to increase of satellite image applications and users. In high resolution satellite TDI (time delay and integration) method is adopted in order to improve SNR. But image quality can be degraded by satellite maneuver. In this paper requirements for remote sensing in high resolution satellite with agility are extracted and an approach to operate the agile satellite to perform the missions are proposed. The proposed approach in this paper will be applicable to system level design and analysis.

This study focuses on determining the impacts of organizational culture on the accounting information system and the operational performance of small and medium-sized enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City. The paper is organized in five parts: introduction, literature review, research methodology, research results, and conclusion and policy implications. Based on the samples of 353 respondents working in small and mediumsized enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City, the research employs both qualitative and quantitative methods to find the answers for research questions. Group discussion, which yields final observed variables of the factors of organizational culture is used for qualitative method. Statistics, assessment of the reliability of Cronbach's Alpha scale, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modeling (SEM) are used for quantitative procedure. The results show that mission, involvement and inconsistency in organizational culture positively affect the accounting information system of small and medium-sized firms in Vietnam. In addition, mission, involvement, adaptability and consistency in organizational culture are found to have positive impacts on the firm operational performance. Another finding of the study is that the accounting information system has a positive effect on operational performance of small and medium-sized firms in Vietnam.
As power grids are integrated into one big umbrella (i.e., Smart Grid), communication network plays a key role in reliable and stable operation of power grids. For successful operation of smart grid, interoperability and security issues must be resolved. Security means providing network system integrity, authentication, and confidentiality service. For a cyber-attack to a power grid system, which may jeopardize the national security, vulnerability of communication infrastructure has a serious impact on the power grid network. While security aspects of power grid network have been studied much, security mechanisms are rarely adopted in power gird communication network. For security issues, strict timing requirements are defined in IEC 61850 for mission critical messages (i.e., GOOSE). In this paper, we apply security algorithms (i.e., MD-5, SHA-1, and RSA) and measure their processing time and transmission delay of secured mission critical messages. The results show the algorithms satisfying the timing requirements defined in IEC 61850 and we observer the algorithm that is optimal for secure communication of mission critical messages. Numerical analysis shows that SHA-1 is preferable for secure GOOSE message sending.
In this work, preliminary launch opportunities from NARO Space Center to the Sun-Earth Lagrange point are analyzed. Among five different Sun-Earth Lagrange points, L1 and L2 points are selected as suitable candidates for, respectively, solar and astrophysics missions. With high fidelity dynamics models, the L1 and L2 point targeting problem is formulated regarding the location of NARO Space Center and relevant Target Interface Point (TIP) for each different launch date is derived including launch injection energy per unit mass (C3), Right ascension of the injection orbit Apoapsis Vector (RAV) and Declination of the injection orbit Apoapsis Vector (DAV). Potential launch periods to achieve L1 and L2 transfer trajectory are also investigated regarding coasting characteristics from NARO Space Center. The magnitude of the Lagrange Orbit Insertion (LOI) burn, as well as the Orbit Maintenance (OM) maneuver to maintain more than one year of mission orbit around the Lagrange points, is also derived as an example. Even the current work has been made under many assumptions as there are no specific mission goals currently defined yet, so results from the current work could be a good starting point to extend diversities of future Korean deep-space missions.

A transient analysis on temperatures of fuel and oil in hydraulic and lubrication systems in an aircraft was studied using the finite difference method. Numerical calculation was performed by an explicit method with modified Dufort-Frankel scheme. Among various missions, air superiority mission was considered as a mission model with 20% hot day ambient condition in subsonic region. The ambience of the aircraft was assumed as turbulent flow. Convective heat transfer coefficient were used in calculating heat transfer between the aircraft surface and the ambience. For an aircraft on the ground, an empirical equation represented as a function of free-stream air velocity was used. And the heat transfer coefficient for flat plate turbulent flow suggested by Eckert was employed for in-flight phases. The governing equations used in this analysis are the mass and energy conservation equations on fuel and oils. Here, analysis of fuel and oil temperature in the engine was not carried out. As a result of this analysis, the ground operation phase has shown the highest temperature and the largest rate of temperature increase among overall mission phases. Also, it is shown that fuel flow rate through fuel/oil heat exchanger plays an important role in temperature change of fuel and oil. This analysis could be an important part of studies to ensure thermal stability of the aircraft and can be applicable to thermal design of the aircraft fuel system.

Thermal analysis and control design are prerequisite essential to design the satellite. In the space environment, it makes satellite survive from extreme hot and cold conditions. In recent years CubeSat mission is developed for many kinds of purpose. Triplet Ionospheric Observatory (TRIO)-CubeSat for Ion, Neutral, Electron, MAgnetic fields (CINEMA) is required to weigh less than 3 kg and operate on minimal 3 W power. In this paper we describe the thermal analysis and control design for TRIO-CINEMA mission. For this thermal analysis, we made a thermal model of the CubeSat with finite element method and NX6.0 TMG software is used to simulate this analysis model. Based on this result, passive thermal control method has been applied to thermal design of CINEMA. In order to get the better conduction between solar panel and chassis, we choose aluminum 6061-T6 for the material property of standoff. We can increase the average temperature of top and bottom solar panels from $-70^{\circ}C$ to $-40^{\circ}C $ and decrease the average temperature of the magnetometer from $+93^{\circ}C$ to $-4^{\circ}C$ using black paint on the surface of the chassis, inside of top & bottom solar panels, and magnetometer.
The KC-100 has completed civil type certification with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport, and is currently under development as an unmanned aerial vehicle as part of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport. The Certification Technology of small Unmanned Airplane system (CTsUA system), which is an unmanned KC-100, is being developed to enable the installation of heavy-duty mission equipment and long-time flight missions. This study investigated the process and results of analyzing various parameters such as aircraft weight, airspeed, flight altitude, required horsepower, and fuel consumption at each stage to construct a mission profile based on the operational concept of the CTsUA system. To maintain a maximum take-off weight of 3,600 lbs (1,633 kg), the analysis determined that the weight of the application equipment for the unmanned system should be kept below 80 lbs (36 kg).
