Purpose. The aim of the study was to compare the lingualized implant placement creating a buccal cantilever with prosthetic-driven implant placement exhibiting excessive crown-to-implant ratio. Materials and Methods. Based on patient's CT scan data, two finite element models were created. Both models were composed of the severely resorbed posterior mandible with first premolar and second molar and missing second premolar and first molar, a two-unit prosthesis supported by two implants. The differences were in implants position and crown-to-implant ratio; lingualized implants creating lingually overcontoured prosthesis (Model CP2) and prosthetic-driven implants creating an excessive crown-to-implant ratio (Model PD2). A screw preload of 466.4 N and a buccal occlusal load of 262 N were applied. The contacts between the implant components were set to a frictional contact with a friction coefficient of 0.3. The maximum von Mises stress and strain and maximum equivalent plastic strain were analyzed and compared, as well as volumes of the materials under specified stress and strain ranges. Results. The results revealed that the highest maximum von Mises stress in each model was 1091 MPa for CP2 and 1085 MPa for PD2. In the cortical bone, CP2 showed a lower peak stress and a similar peak strain. Besides, volume calculation confirmed that CP2 presented lower volumes undergoing stress and strain. The stresses in implant components were slightly lower in value in PD2. However, CP2 exhibited a noticeably higher plastic strain. CONCLUSION. Prosthetic-driven implant placement might biomechanically be more advantageous than bone quantity-based implant placement that creates a buccal cantilever.
Purpose: As a research on the effects of the characteristics of franchise educational institution and contents on the educational transition, commitment, and recommendation intention, this study aimed to suggest the basic data that could be used for the performance of educational training of franchise headquarters, and also to suggest an empirical research helpful for the development of actual educational system and the operation of curriculum for franchise educational institutions. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between relative handgrip strength (HGS/BMI) and obesity (BMI above 95th percentile) in adolescents. Methods: The subjects of the study were 637 out of 701 adolescents aged 10~18 who participated in the 2018 National Health and Nutrition Survey (KNHANES), excluding those with missing values in body mass index (BMI) and handgrip strength (HGS). The relative handgrip strength (HGS/BMI) value was divided by quartile and composite sample logistic regression analysis was performed to see its relationship with obesity (BMI above 95th percentile). The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0. Results: As a result of analyzing HGS according to gender-specific quartiles, age, height, and weight of male adolescents increased significantly as HGS/BMI increased (p trend<.001). In addition, as HGS/BMI increased, total cholesterol, triglycerides, and HDL cholesterol decreased significantly (p trend<.001). In the case of female adolescents, age and height increased significantly as HGS/BMI increased (p trend<.001). HGS/BMI was lower in the obese group (p=.023), while total cholesterol was higher in the obese group(BMI above 95th percentile) than in the non-obese group. As a result of the composite sample logistic regression analysis, the odds ratio (OR) decreased significantly as the quartile increased in both male and female adolescents. Conclusion: According to these results, a follow-up study is needed to confirm the factors affecting muscle strength of adolescents. In addition, this study intends to be used as basic data to conduct further research and to develop programs that can improve muscle strength and reduce obesity in adolescents.
Background: Depression is a common disease around the world. Many studies are showing that mental health can be improved through physical activity, and daily regular exercise can reduce the negative effects of depression or depressive symptoms. In order to promote individual physical activity, a physical activity-friendly environment must precede. Therefore, this study attempted to confirm whether the number of sports facilities for all affects individual depression. Methods: Among the respondents to the 2018 Community Health Survey, data from 181,086 people excluding missing value were used. Descriptive and chi-square tests were performed to understanding the general characteristics of individual level variables. A multilevel logistic regression was conducted to confirm the effect of individual and regional level variables on depressive symptoms. Results: As a result of confirming the effect of individual characteristics on depressive symptoms, it was confirmed that both socioeconomic and health behavior factors had an effect. Similar results were shown in a model that considered regional level variables, and in the case of the number of sports facilities per population, people who belongs to smaller areas were more likely to have depressive symptoms (odds ratio, 0.98; 95% confidence interval, 0.97-0.99). Conclusion: As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that both individual level and regional level variables had a significant effect on depressive symptoms. This suggests that not only individual level approaches but also regional level approaches are needed to improve individual depressive symptoms In particular, it may be possible to consider to increase the number of sports facilities in areas where the prevalence of depressive symptoms is high and the number of sports facilities is insufficient.

In this study, a time series analysis technique was applied to calibrate and predict traffic data for various purposes, such as planning, design, maintenance, and research. Existing algorithms have limitations in application to data such as traffic data because they show strong periodicity and seasonality or irregular data. To overcome and supplement these limitations, we applied the SARIMA model, an analytical technique that combines the autocorrelation model, the Seasonal Auto Regressive(SAR), and the seasonal Moving Average(SMA). According to the analysis, traffic volume prediction using the SARIMA(4,1,3)(4,0,3) 12 model, which is the optimal parameter combination, showed excellent performance of 85% on average. In addition to traffic data, this study is considered to be of great value in that it can contribute significantly to traffic correction and forecast improvement in the event of missing traffic data, and is also applicable to a variety of time series data recently collected.

An open rack vaporizer is a facility that vaporizes liquefied natural gas using sea water. When a vaporization efficiency of the open rack vaporizer decreases, liquefied natural gas can leak, which can cause great damage to the facility. Operators have to monitor the operation state of the facility in real-time to prevent the accident. However, operators have visited the site and have checked the state by looking at the value of sensors installed in the open rack vaporizer through indicators. For the safe operation of the open rack vaporizer, a monitoring system is needed to monitor the operation state of the open rack vaporizer in real-time without the need for operators to visit the site. In this paper, we developed a long term evolution based monitoring system to monitor the operation state of the open rack vaporizer. The developed system can monitor the real-time operation state of the open rack vaporizer at a control center far from the facility. For the system development, data transmission infrastructure using long term evolution was built. Afterwards a software was developed to monitor the operation state of the open rack vaporizer in real-time using the transmitted data. Finally, performance evaluation was conducted to confirm that the developed system operated successfully without data transmission delay or data missing.

Accidents caused by black ice occur frequently every winter, and the fatality rate is very high compared to other traffic accidents. Therefore, a systematic method is needed to predict the black ice formation before accidents. In this paper, we proposed a black ice prediction model based on heterogenous and multi-type data. To this end, 12,574,630 cases of 46 types of land, infrastructure, transport public data and meteorological public data were collected. Subsequently, the data cleansing process including missing value detection and normalization was followed by the establishment of approximately 600,000 refined datasets. We analyzed the correlation of 42 factors collected to predict the occurrence of black ice by selecting only 21 factors that have a valid effect on black ice prediction. The prediction model developed through this will eventually be used to derive the route-specific black ice risk index, which will be utilized as a preliminary study for black ice warning alart services.
In general, life jackets are worn by people in critical situations on the water to rise to the surface without falling into water, and life jackets simply serve to prevent sinking, but do not actively help rescue disaster areas in critical situations early. In order to solve this problem, a device that automatically generates a distress signal in an emergency situation was developed. When the survivor is in hand for a while, the distress signal generator is automatically separated from the life jacket, allowing information such as location values and other information to be transmitted wirelessly and a rescue signal using LED light. As a result of the experiment, when submerged in water, the life jacket and the distress signal generator were automatically separated, and the result of wireless transmission of the coordinate value of the location received by the GPS was confirmed. By using this, the location of the distress or missing person can be identified, which can be quickly replaced in case of an emergency
This study attempted to estimate the amount of expenditure per capita of visitors to the Mongsanpo fishing village tourism festival, and quantitatively measure how much the festival contributes to the local and national economy through input-output model. Pleurotus ostreatus is a globally cultivated mushroom crop. Cap color is a quality factor in P. ostreatus. However, cap color can spontaneously mutate, degrading the quality of the mushroom on the market. Early detection and removal of mutant strains is the best way to maintain the commercial value of the crop. To detect the cap color mutant Gonji7ho, molecular markers were developed based on insertion/deletions (InDels) derived from the comparison of mitogenomes of Gonji7ho and Gonji7hoM mushrooms. Sequencing, assembly, and comparative analysis of the two mitogenomes revealed genome sizes of 73,212 bp and 72,576 bp with 61 and 57 genes or open reading frames (ORFs) in P. ostreatus Gonji7ho and Gonji7hoM, respectively. Fourteen core protein-encoding genes, two rRNA, and 24 tRNA with some OFRs were predicted. Of the 61 genes or OFRs in the wild type, dpo, rpo, and two orf139 were missing (or remnant) in the mutant strain. Molecular markers were developed based on the sequence variations (InDels) between the two mitogenomes. Six polymorphic molecular markers could detect the mutated mitochondria by PCR. These results provide basic knowledge of the mitogenomes of wild-type and mutant P. ostreatus, and can be applied to discriminate mutated mitochondria.
