Underwater object detection method adopting electrical resistivity technique was proposed recently, and the need of advanced data processing algorithm development counteracting various marine environmental conditions was required. In this paper, we present an improved water tank experiment system and its operation results, which can provide efficient test and verification. The main features of the system are as follows: 1) All the processes enabling real time process for not only simultaneous gathering of object images but also the electrical field measurement and visualization are carried out at 5 Hz refresh rates. 2) Data acquisition and processing for two detection lines are performed in real time to distinguish the moving direction of a target object. 3) Playback and retest functions for the saved data are equipped. 4) Through the monitoring screen, the movement of the target object and the measurement status of two detection lines can be intuitively identified. We confirmed that the enhanced physical modeling system works properly and facilitates efficient experiments.

The primary insulation system used in an oil-filled transformer is Kraft paper, wood, porcelain and, of course, oil. Modern transformers use paper that is chemically treated to improve its tensile strength properties and resistance to aging caused by immersion in oil. These insulation papers are mainly aged to thermal stress. Over the course of the insulation paper and oil's life it is exposed to high temperatures, oxygen and water. Its interaction with the steel of the tank and core plus the copper and aluminium of the windings will eventually cause the chemical properties of the oil to decay. High temperature have an effect on mechanical strength of cellulous paper using the layer insulation. We made two aging cell in which thermal aging tests of insulation papers and mineral oil are conducted. It is measured dielectric strength, number of acid, moisture, etc. of insulation paper and oil aged in the aging cells.
This study investigates the relationship between mineral exports to China, North Korea's most important source of foreign currency acquisition, and its imports of various items from China from the first quarter of 1995 through to the third quarter of 2019. The results from a cointegration analysis suggest that there exists a long-run equilibrium relationship between mineral exports and imports of food, fuel, and some intermediate goods, such as industrial supplies, parts, and accessories. The results from a vector autoregression using first-differenced variables indicate that the short-run relationship between mineral exports and imports is different between the period before and after the third quarter of 2010. Prior to structural changes, i.e., before the third quarter of 2010, import shocks affected mineral exports. However, after the third quarter of 2010, an increase in mineral exports led to an increase in the import of vehicles, intermediate goods, and luxury goods. This paper shows both the possibilities and the limits that mineral exports can contribute to North Korea's economic growth. The results, which show that mineral exports have a long-run relationship with intermediate goods, such as industrial supplies, parts and accessories, imply that mineral exports to China could have a positive effect on the North Korean economy. However, the fact that mineral exports do not have any significant effect on the import of machinery and equipment, which helps the accumulation of capital formation, shows that mineral exports have a limited effect on inducing long-term growth in the North Korean economy.

Electrical insulation is one of the most important part in a high voltage apparatus. Recently, researchers are interested in the environmental friendly vegetable oil from environmental viewpoint. Accelerated aging transformer insulating material in vegetable oil was compared to that of mineral oil. Accelerated aging oil samples produced in the oven at $140^{\circ}C$ for 500, 1000, 1500, 2000hours. And Real transformer insulation oils samples of vegetable oil and mineral oil were aged by thermal cycles repeating from $30^{\circ}C$ to $120^{\circ}C$. Samples were analyzed at 42, 63, 93, 143, 190, 240, 300 cycles. The mineral and vegetable insulating oils were investigated for breakdown voltage, water content, total acid number, viscosity, volume resistivity, insulating paper and oil permittivity, and dissolved gas analyses. The breakdown voltage of the vegetable insulating oil is higher than that found for the mineral oil; the accelerated aging progress decreased the breakdown voltage. The vegetable oil had a higher water saturation than the mineral oil; the vegetable oil has the superior water characteristics and breakdown voltage. And high viscosity of vegetable oil, care has to be taken, especially when designing the cooling system for a large transformer.
This paper reported the experimental result of dielectric properties of Refined, Bleached and Deodorized Palm Oil (RBDPO) combined with 0-50% of Refined, Bleached and Deodorized Soybean Oil (RBDSO). The dielectric strength and relative permittivity of RBDPO/RBDSO was higher compared to mineral oil at all ranges of ratios and temperatures which indicated a positive sign for its possible use as insulating liquid in a transformer. All ratios of the RBDPO/RBDSO mixture also demonstrated lower dissipation factor compared to mineral oil at 40℃, 70℃ and 90℃. Apart from that, the kinematic viscosity for the oil mixtures shown exceeded the IEC 60296 as well as the mineral oil results. 70%RBDPO/30%RBDSO mixture ratio was chosen as the best mixing percentage after comparison was made with the mineral oil and IEC 60296 standard where the mixture accumulated the most satisfactory of dielectric properties hence making it as the potential candidate for palm and soybean-based transformer oil.
This paper reports an experimental study into the rheological behaviour of self consolidating concrete (SCC). The investigation aimed at quantifying the impact of the varying amounts of mineral admixtures on the rheology of SCC containing natural sand. Apart from the ordinary Portland cement (OPC), the cementitious materials such as fly ash (FA), ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) and micro-silica (MS) in conjunction with the mineral admixtures were used in different percentages keeping the mix paste volume and flow of concrete constant at higher atmospheric tempterature ($30^{\circ}$ to $40^{\circ}C$). The rheological properties of SCC were investigated using an ICAR rheometer with a four-blade vane. The rheological properties of self-consolidating concrete (SCC) containing different mineral admixtures (MA) were investigated using an ICAR rheometer. The mineral admixtures were fly ash (FA), ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS), and micro silica (MS). The results obtained using traditional workability results are compared with those obtained using ICAR rheometer. The instrument ICAR (International Center for Aggregate Research) rheometer employed in the present study for evaluating the rhelogical behaviour of the SCC is found to detect systematic changes in workability, cementitious materials, successfully. It can be concluded that the rheology and the slump flow tests can be concurrently used for predicting the flow behaviours of SCC made with different cementitious materials.

This paper reports the influence of super retarding agent(SRA) on the setting time of concrete incorporating mineral admixture including fly ash(FA), expansive additive(EA), silica fume(SF), blast furnace slag(BS) and blast furnace slag along with fly ash(BS+FA). An increase in SRA resulted in retarding the setting time of control concrete, while the use of mineral admixture led to a delay of setting time markedly, compared with that of control concrete under no SRA content. Meanwhile, An increase in SRA in concrete with mineral admixture exhibited comparable setting delay with control concrete. Furthermore, in case of the use of BS and SF, acceleration of setting time was observed with increase of SRA content. It is considered that proper dosage of SRA of concrete with SF and BS to secure similar setting delay with control concrete require rather larger than that of control concrete. Accordingly, For concrete with mineral admixture, in order to decide the proper dosage of SRA, application of correction factors is needed.

The resistivity of soils depends on grains size, porosity, water saturation, pore fluid resistivity, caly contents and son on. It is very important to understand the relationship between resistivity and such physical properties of soils, in order to interpret and evaluate ground conditions by using resistivity data obtained from electrical resistivity prospecting. In this paper, to study the relationship between resistivity and physical properties of soils, the resistivity of glass beads and compacted soil samples both in saturated and unsaturated conditions is measured. As the results, the resistivity of saturated soils depends mainly on porosity and clay contents, while that of unsaturated soils is sensitive to compaction conditions, and decreases with increasing water content until the optimum water condition, that is the maximum dry density. But, the relationship between resistivity and water saturation for soils is unique, being independent of compaction energy. Also, the resistivity ratio decrease with increasing water saturation, followed by no significant change of resistivity ratio over 80 percent of water saturation (the optimum water content).

Granulated slag from metal industries and fly ash from the combustion of coal are industrial by-products that have been widely used as mineral admixtures in normal and high strength concrete. Due to the reaction between calcium hydroxide and fly ash or slag, the hydration of concrete containing fly ash or slag is much more complex compared with that of Portland cement. In this paper, the production of calcium hydroxide in cement hydration and its consumption in the reaction of mineral admixtures is considered in order to develop a numerical model that simulates the hydration of concrete containing fly ash or slag. The heat evolution rates of fly ash- or slag-blended concrete is determined by the contribution of both cement hydration and the reaction of the mineral admixtures. Furthermore, the temperature distribution and temperature history in hardening blended concrete are evaluated based on the degree of hydration of the cement and the mineral admixtures. The proposed model is verified through experimental data on concrete with different water-to-cement ratios and mineral admixture substitution ratios.
PURPOSES : This paper focuses on strength development according to the mix design with cement type and mineral admixture from laboratory and field tests in cool weather. METHODS : Two methods evaluated the mix design of concrete pavement in cool weather. Firstly, laboratory tests including slump, air contents, setting time, strength, maturity, and freezing-thawing test were conducted. Three alternatives were selected based on the tests. Secondly, a field test was conducted and the optimum mix design in cool weather was suggested. RESULTS : It is an evident from the laboratory test that a mix with type III cement showed better performance than the one with type I cement. There was a delay in strength development of a mix with mineral admixture compared to mix design without any mineral admixture. In the field test, type III cement+flyash 20% mix design proved the best performance. CONCLUSIONS : For concrete pavement in cool weather, mix design using type III cement could overcome the strength delay due to mineral admixture. Moreover, it is possible to make sure of durability of pavement. Therefore, strength and durability problems due to cool weather would decrease.
