Today, most weapon systems operate as component systems of SoS(System of Systems) and they produce synergy effects in the battle field by interoperating. In addition, the acquisition issues on weapon systems have expanded into SoS context including sustainment analysis. Availability is the sustainment KPP(Key Performance Parameter) of weapon systems. In this paper, a simulation model is proposed to analyze the availability of SoS. The simulation model consists of 5 modules: Mission and Task, System, System RBD, Maintenance system and a simulation engine. Then it was implemented and applied to a SoS. As a result of the application, the simulation model could be applied for analyzing the availability of the SoS and provided information about critical tasks and risky component systems to complete the given mission of the SoS.

The purpose of this paper is to propose a notification service for preventing unexpected accidents which will be occurred by enlisted men's stress in Korean Army. For this purpose we first evaluate the enlisted men's stress with reliable evaluation tools through survey. A representative sample size of about 1,500 enlisted men from all seven unit types was selected and surveyed considering types of unit, ranks, and regional characteristics. In the second, we analyse the results of level of stresses and stress reactions to distinguish high potential enlisted men who will happen to accident. Through the second step, we know enlisted men's stress reactions are different depending their unit types. Therefore the basic information about their stresses will be judged respectively according to their unit types. In the final step, we propose a notification service that offer the information about high potential enlisted men who will happen to accident to their managers rapidly through military Intranet and information systems. Their managers will get the previous information about occurrence of unexpected accidents and have time to check various things before they are occurred. We hope the proposed service contributes to prevent unexpected accidents and reduce the effort of military managers. Furthermore this paper offers several recommendations to apply the proposed service to Korean Army.

제4차 산업혁명 기술은 현재 우리 군이 처한 병력 감축과 국방예산 감소라는 장애물을 넘어 초연결 초지능화된 네트워크 중심 작전 환경을 구축하는 해결책으로 대두되고 있다. 그러나 최신 정보기술에 대한 복잡성 증대와 기 운용중인 정보시스템과의 영향성 검증을 포함한 전체적인 위험관리가 미흡하여 시스템 무결성과 가용성에 심각한 위협을 초래하거나 시스템 간 상호운용성에 부정적 영향을 끼침으로서 임무 수행을 저해할 수 있다. 본 논문에서 우리는 정보기술의 발전에 따라 발생할 수 있는 사이버 위협으로부터 군 정보화 자산을 보호하기 위해 미국의 정보보안 위험관리에 대한 내용의 고찰을 통해 우리 군이 사이버 위협에 대비하기 위한 사이버 위협 대응 전략을 제시하고자 한다.

Satellite Air-defence Warning System receives the aircraft/ballistic track information and air defense control command obtained from Master Control & Reporting Center (MCRC) and Air Missile Defence Cell (AMD Cell) Systems. It consists of terminal and control system to propagate track information and air defense control command control via the military satellite communications. In this paper, there were described track information, air defense control command, the frame structure of modem to transmit a voice information and modulation/demodulator design, network synchronization methods via the satellite network.

Many recent changes in medical area such as expansion of medical insurance, high expectation of people for medical service and the competition with foreign country open new area of medical service and hospital managements. Domestic medical personal have been doing their best for better medical service and more efficient hospital management. In other words, they are focusing on the renovation of organization culture, the reform of organization and operation process and building information systems. It has been more than 10 years since the first computer system was introduced in the domestic medical area. We have been trying to build more advance and more friendly computer systems. Recent advances of information technology could make this possible. In this paper, I introduce the system design of Integrated Hospital Information System include core technology, components of the system and important factors to be considered.

In this paper, we present a path search scheme for the safe movement of the swarm of unmanned systems in unknown dangerous areas. Some of the swarm searches for the primary and secondary paths before the majority of swarm move through dangerous areas. In terms of rapid movement from the dangerous area and preparation for an accident, the primary path is searched first in the destination's direction. The secondary path is searched by considering the distance between the paths to guarantee a safe distance. The computer simulations show that the proposed scheme is suitable for the swarm of unmanned systems.

In future complex and diverse battlefield situations, the existing command system faces the challenge of delayed human judgement of strategy and low objectivity. This paper proposes an artificial intelligence model that takes situation information and course of action simulation results as input and automatically assigns scores to various evaluation elements and a comprehensive score. This tool is expected to assist the commander in making decisions, reduce the time required for making judgments, and promote impartial decision-making.

It has been found that users' characteristics are important variables that explain information systems adoption. These user groups, which are called COIs (Community Of Interests), might show different behaviors to each other to the same information system. We study differences in MDM (master data management) system adoption between military users and SI developers using TAM (Technology Acceptance Model). In case of military users, the perceived usefulness of an MDM system does not have impacts on intention to use an MDM system. Only the ease of use of an MDM system has impacts on intention to use an MDM system. However, in case of SI developers, both the perceived usefulness and the ease of use of an MDM system have impacts on intention to use an MDM system, which are similar to findings in previous studies. These results might be interpreted that users do not pay much attention to the usefulness in adopting a new information system in a centralized organization. They are obligated to use an information system whether it is useful or not. Thus the ease of use has more impacts on users than the usefulness.

상용제품에 종속적인 국방 사이버 방호체계 생태계는 APT(Advanced Persistent Threat) 등 지능화된 최근 사이버 공격양상에 더욱 취약할 수 있다. 일반무기체계는 대부분 특정 방위산업체가 양산한 관급제품으로 원천기술 등에 대한 보호가 가능하지만 사이버 방호체계는 대부분 상용제품으로 군을 공격하지 않고 산업체 공격을 통해 군 공격이 직 간접적으로 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 국방 사이버 방호체계를 구축해나가는 생태계에 있어서 적 공격의 가상 시나리오를 분석해보고, 이에 대한 취약성 및 위협성을 평가 및 검증하여 안전한 국방 사이버 방호체계 생태계 구축을 위한 기술적, 정책적 방안을 제시한다.

In this paper, for the systematic software evaluation and selection objective, we first discussed the systems software which is distinctly different from applications oriented software in source, concept and use. We suggested the systematic procedures for the effective software evaluation and selection by analyzing categories of commercially available proprietary software, sources of information for software selection, request for information, request for proposal, user surveys as an aid to evaluation and evaluation of responses to the RFP.
