  • This paper contains the optimized M2M technology, and the information of production resource of 4M, which understanding the roles and functions of M2M Device, and the explanation of its effectiveness, and the information of optimized M2M Device in IT convergence point of view. In addition, this content also points out the optimized M2M Device, analyzes and collects various type of management information which emphasizes the need for a common platform's were Middleware, and Auto-Configuration, WebLine Monitoring, WebService through the functionality of an integrated management information supports the productions by digitizing the information with standardized data for management efficiency.

  • Recently research efforts for ubiquitous technology that includes RFID(Radio Frequency Deification and sensor networks are conducted very actively The architectural framework of the USN sensor network discovery service. The survey of the USN technology is conducted on four technological visions that contain USN system technology USN networking technology and USN middleware along with the service platform, With respect to each technological division domestic and worldwide leading research projects are primarily explored with their technical features and research projects are primarily explored with their technical features and research outputs. Boasted on the result of the survey we establish a USN software model that includes data sensing, sensor data storage sensor data storage sensor data naming and sensor feed name service. This main objective of this model is to provide a reference model for the facilitation of USN application developments.

  • Current service discovery protocols such as UPnP, Jini, SLP provide the basic function which is message exchange pattern, service representation and description, in service discovery. They does not guarantee service interoperability among service discovery. Therefore, in this paper, we design and implement CLAM (Component-based Autonomic Layered Middleware) agent platform to enable an efficient service discovery through extension of DF agent function in FIPA-compliant specification. Also, we propose an efficient service discovery mechanism using DHT-Chord algorithm to guarantee scalability and interoperability in DF agent.

  • A major challenge for next generation mobile communication is capturing the system architecture’s complexity with all its internal and external dependencies. Seamless integration of heterogeneous environments in all system parts is a key requirement. Moreover, future systems have to consider the different evolution cycles of individual system parts. Among those, services are expected to change the fastest. With respect to these considerations, we propose an overall architecture for next generation mobile communication systems. It covers all system parts from wireless transmission to applications including network and middleware platform. Our approach focuses on adaptability in terms of recon- figurability and programmability to support unanticipated system evolution. Therefore, we consider abstraction layers which consist of adaptable cooperating components grouped by open platforms rather than rigid system layers. In addition to that, we introduce cross-layer cooperation allowing an efficient use of the available resources. Specific scenarios illustrate the feasibility of our approach.

  • IIoT(Industrial Internet of Thing) means that all manufacturing processes are informed beyond the conventional automation of process automation. The objective of the system is to build an information system based on the data collected from the sensors installed in each process and to maintain optimal productivity by managing and automating each process in real time. Data collected from sensors in each process is unstructured and many studies have been conducted to collect and process such unstructured data effectively. In this paper, we propose a system using Node-RED as middleware for effective big data collection and processing.

  • This paper demonstrates the benefit of using MOOS-IvP in the development of control system for Unmanned Underwater Vehicles(UUV). The demand for autonomy in UUVs has significantly increased due to the complexity in missions to be performed. Furthermore, the increased number of sensors and actuators that are interconnected through a network has introduced a need for a middleware platform for UUVs. In this context, MOOS-IvP, which is an open source software architecture, has been developed by several researchers from MIT, Oxford University, and NUWC. The MOOS software is a communication middleware based on the publish-subscribe architecture allowing each application to communicate through a MOOS database. The IvP Helm, which is one of the MOOS modules, publishes vehicle commands using multi-objective optimization in order to implement autonomous decision making. This paper explores the benefit of MOOS-IvP in the development of control software for UUVs by using a case study with an auto depth control system based on self-organizing fuzzy logic control. The simulation results show that the design and verification of UUV control software based on MOOS-IvP can be carried out quickly and efficiently thanks to the reuse of source codes, modular-based architecture, and the high level of scalability.

  • Our research is aimed at developing an architectural frame-work of USN sensor network discovery service systems. The research is fo-cused on the four areas a survey of USN technology, development of a USN software model, development of the design space of the USN sensor network discovery service, and finally the architectural framework of the USN sensor network dicovery service.   • This paper suggests a multi-agent message transport architecture based on the message-oriented middleware ZeroMQ. Compared with the other middlewares such as CORBA, Ice, and Thrift, ZeroMQ receives a good score in the evaluation of performance, QoS (Quality of Service), patterns, user friendliness, and resources. The suggested message transfer architecture borrowed many basic concepts like agent platform, AMS (Agent Management System), and MTS (Message Transfer System) from FIPA (Foundation for Intelligent Physical Agents) standard multi-agent specifications, and the architecture inherited the strength of the architecture from the multi-agent framework SMAF (Smart Multi-Agent Framework). The architecture suggested in this paper is a novel peer-to-peer architecture which is not known to the ZeroMQ community. In the suggested architecture, every MTS agent uses only one ZeroMQ router socket to support peer-to-peer communication among MTS agents. The suggested architecture can support closely collaborating software areas such as intelligent robots as well as the traditional application areas of multi-agent architecture. The suggested architecture has interoperability and scalability with the ZeroMQ devices and patterns.

  • In recent decades, research and development in the field of industrial robotics, such as an unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) and an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), has been significant progress. In these advancements, it is important to use middleware, which facilitates communication and data management between different applications, and various industrial communication middleware protocols have been released. The robot operating system (ROS) is the most widely adopted as the main platform for robot system development among the communication middleware protocols. However, the ROS is known to be vulnerable to various cyber attacks, such as eavesdropping on communications and injecting malicious messages, because it was initially designed without security considerations. In response, numerous studies have proposed countermeasures to ROS vulnerabilities. In particular, some work has been proposed on generating ROS datasets for intrusion detection systems (IDS), but there is a lack of research in this area. In this paper, in order to contribute to improving the performance of ROS IDSs, we propose a new type of attack scenario that can occur in the ROS and build ROS attack datasets collected from a real robot system and make it available as an open dataset.

  • Recently, a new theoretical and methodological approach for computational science is becoming more and more popular for analyzing and solving scientific problems in various scientific disciplines and applied research. Computational science is a field of study concerned with constructing mathematical models and quantitative analysis techniques and using large computing resources to solve the problems which are difficult to approach in a physical experimentally. In this paper, we present R&D of EDISON open integration platform that allows anyone like professors, researchers, industrial workers, students etc to upload their advanced research result such as simulation SW to use and share based on the cyber infrastructure of supercomputer and network. EDISON platform, which consists of 3 tiers (EDISON application framework, EDISON middleware, and EDISON infra resources) provides Web portal for education and research in 5 areas (CFD, Chemistry, Physics, Structural Dynamics, Computational Design) and user service.
