Mathematics education is very important in future because mathematics is the basis of every study, for example, natural and social science, etc. Our nation wide curriculum has been revised six times since 1948. In 1992, the sixth revision was enforced and we are using the revised textbook now. This study aims at helping of continuous investigation for educational curriculum and textbook, and aims at efficient teaching by preventing unnecessary repetition and excessive gap in real field by analyzing the articulation of Analytics part in school textbook from elementary to high school. This thesis consists of the followings. 1.Investigation of the principles and natures of articulation along with curriculum course and notice the articulation based on the analysing tools. 2.Importance of learning functions. 3.To get the propriety, formation of 8 judging group and classification of content materials in function chapters by the judges based on the analyzing tools. 4.Analysis of presentation method and terminologies in the first concepts, suggestion teaching method to reduce gap and help of understanding on first concepts in the study of function. As a result 'development' consists of 55.8% of the total and it is higher than 'duplication' and 'gap'. To be specific in periods, between elementary school and middle school 'development' takes 64.5% and this shows an acceptable articulation in the period. While 39.4% of 'gap' in articulation between middle school and high school looks high compared with 'gap' between the previous periods. The item suggested with the 'gap' is the 'definition of function', 'value of function', 'parallel translation', 'exponential and logarithmic function'. It is observed that these materials is suddenly appeared in high school.

The research aimed to compare science curriculum between Korea and Israel and find out characteristics of science curriculum in Israel at middle school level. The middle school 'science' of the 7th revised national curriculum in Korea and middle school 'science and technology' in Israel were compared. Among characteristics of the Israel curriculum of 'science and technology,' distinct ones are as follows: First, 'science and technology' was most highly emphasized with the largest number of time allotment among all subjects at middle school level in Israel. Second, the contents of 'science and technology' were classified into seven areas of 'energy and interaction', 'materials', 'organism', 'earth and the universe', 'technological systems and products' . 'information and communication',and 'ecosystems' rather than four areas of energy, materials, life and earth in Korea. Third, 'organism' was allocated with the highest number of hours among seven areas. Fourth, objectives of each content of 'science and technology' were divided into three categories: scientific aspect, technological aspect, and social value and objectives of each category were related to one another. This characteristic seems to stress STS, multidisciplinary, and interdisciplinary approaches in 'science and technology' in Israel. Such characteristics of the 'science and technology' education in Israel are likely to make significant contributions to establish human resources of highly developing science and technology including IT, BT, NT, ST in the future society. Reflecting upon the characteristics of 'science and technology' education in Israel, Korea might seek for ways to improve its national power based on science and technology through strengthening science and emphasizing science and technology contents among school curriculum.
In the revised 2015 curriculum, it is emphasized that fostering of the students as the capable 'creativity-convergent' individuals can be achieved by offering them the opportunities to cultivate the basic knowledge in liberal arts, society and scientific technologies through schooling. While retaining the basic principle of 'fostering creative people', this fundamentally-reformed curriculum involves improvements in the elementary and middle school curriculums in response to the national and social demands in which active responses to the changes in the educational environments and amelioration of the problems posed in the field applications are required. Accordingly, a novel future-oriented curriculum is necessary for the classroom teaching, and to realize the goal, the 'Competence-oriented Social Multimedia Computer Network Curriculum' adopting the virtualization and the 'Bottom-up' methods has been proposed in this paper as a feasible and practical curriculum. Our curriculum will be compared with the recent Cisco high school curriculum and analyzed contemplating recent curriculums in US, UK, Japan and India. Two 1-year practice courses are examined to prove the validity of the proposed curriculum for a period of two years as a qualitative research project. The results of the comparative analysis will show that our proposed curriculum is superior to the Cisco high school curriculum in the aspects of economic feasibility and learning satisfaction.
Using text network analysis, this research aimed to identify significant keywords associated with each period of the revised High School Engineering curriculum from 2009-2022 and to examine their interrelationships in order to analyse the observed changes. The results of this study can be summarised as follows. Firstly, a significant increase in the number of words was observed throughout the curriculum revisions, with prominent occurrences of terms such as 'engineering', 'understanding', 'problem', 'solution', 'learning', 'evaluation' and 'diversity'. Secondly, network analysis and examination of connection centrality for each subject revealed the connection relationship that represented distinct subject characteristics. Thirdly, the study of the engineering curriculum revealed shifts in emphasised content with each revision. Based on these findings, recommendations were formulated. Firstly, given the growing importance of engineering, it is imperative to conduct systematic research on engineering education in primary and secondary school contexts. Secondly, efforts should be made to strengthen the link between Engineering and Technogy・Home-economics subjects in secondary schools. Finally, high school engineering subjects should be used not only to explore engineering careers, but also to cultivate talents with interdisciplinary expertise.

This study was to examine the concepts using to explain evaporation and boiling in secondary school science textbooks developed in 6th and 7th science curriculum. The types of explanations were compared with maps represented the concepts relationships divided into middle and high schools, 6th and 7th curriculum, and subjects and chapters to find explanation diversity. The difference of explanations related to evaporation and boiling concepts was found in the school levels and subjects. There were few relationships between the main concepts of evaporation phenomena and those of boiling phenomena.
The objective of this study was to examine job performance and importance, and job satisfaction of school foodservice dietitians nutrition teacher in Jeonnam and Gwangju area according to the school types (elementary school, middle school, high school). A total of 646 questionnaires were distributed, 244 questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS 12.0 for a descriptive analysis, t-test and ANOVA. There were significant differences between the school dietitians' nutrition teachers' job performance and importance in all areas of the job analysis for all school types. In the foodservice management/evaluation and nutrition education area, elementary and middle school foodservice dietitian nutrition teacher showed a significantly higher performance, compared to that of high school dietitian nutrition teacher. Nutrition education was recognized by elementary and middle school dietitian nutrition teacher to be more significantly important than that of high school dietitian nutrition teacher. Elementary school foodservice dietitian nutrition teacher was most satisfied with their job condition. Dietitian working in middle school was least satisfied with the salary and compensation. These results suggest that appropriate curriculum should be structured according to foodservice dietitian nutrition teacher of the school type for improving the work efficiency. In order to increase the job satisfaction, the employment status of school dietitian should be guaranteed by the government and school officials, especially in the middle and high schools.
This study analyzed research trends in the field of Practical Arts (Technology & Home Economics) education. From 958 articles published between 2010 and 2018 in the Journal of Korean Practical Arts Education (JKPAE), Journal of Korean Home Economics Education Association (JHEEA), and Korean Journal of Technology Education Association (KJTEA), 958 keywords were extracted and analyzed using NetMiner 4. When the general network structure was analyzed, keywords such as practical arts education, curriculum, textbook, home economics education, and students were high in the degree centrality and closeness centrality, and textbook, practical arts education, curriculum, student, home economics education, and invention were high in the node betweenness centrality. The cluster analysis showed that a four-cluster solution was most appropriate: cluster 1, technology and experiential learning activities; cluster 2, curriculum studies and practical problem; cluster 3, relationships; and cluster 4, creativity and character education. The three journals showed differences in the knowledge network structure: The topics of JKPAE and JKHEEA focused on general content knowledge and curriculum, while the topics of KJTEA were spread across invention and creativity education, and curriculum studies.

The purpose of this study was to investigate middle school students’perception about Home Economics Education in order to provide the basic materials to improve Home Economics curriculum. For this purpose reviewing literatures and empirical research were conducted. the subjects were 661(fourteen-year-ole(8th graders) enrolled in middle school in Seoul and Gyeongsang-nam-do. Statistical methods adopted for data analysis were frequencies, mean standard deviation, ONEWAY ANOVA, Chi-square. Major findings were as follows: 1. The middle school students’perception about Home Economics Education differed with sex of subjects. That is, girl students’perception was higher than boy students’perception. 2. The middle school students’perception about Home Economics subject varied across parents’education level. 3. There was no significant difference in the middle school students’perception about Home Economics Education according to existence of mother’s Job. 4. There was a significant difference in the middle school students’perception about Home Economics Education according to region. That is the perception about the contents of eating life role was high in rural and the daily life as a consumer and resources application was high in Seoul. 5.The middle school students’perception about Home Economics Education varied across subject distinction. That is the perception of boy students who chose Industrial Arts$.$Home Economics subject was high.

The purpose of this study is to obtain a suggestion for writing, revising, and reorganizing for the current Korean Home Economics Textbook. To achieve this goal, the housing unit in the Home Economics curriculums from eight kinds of Japanese textbooks were analyzed. The subject of analysis was Technology Home Economics textbook Home Economics Part 2 volumes used in middle school 2009 and Home Economics Synthesis 6 volumes in high school. Contents of main text, terminology, reading material, tables and activities were analyzed. The suggestions of this analysis are as followings. First according to the increase of the level of school, if the field of housing is organized to be intensified systematically with relation to education, the goal of the subject would be clearly realized to the students. Thus, the middle school curriculum and textbook of housing field should be constructed with the consideration of education level according to the grade and the level of school. The method of intensive education in single point of time would result in low efficiency so the current curriculum should be re-considered. Second, perspective of resident, local community, terrain environment, housing culture should be included in housing education so that the learner may value the relationship between him and the society, think of the earth environment, succeed and advance the traditional culture. Third, the curriculum of the housing field should be organized with the consideration of understanding the level of middle, high school students. Middle school, with their student's low understanding, should include more experiential activity such as experiment and practice in their curriculum. On the other hand, curriculum which can enable student to research problems on their own and to apply them in their real life is required in high school course.
The purpose of this study were the effects of principal related factors on the choice of the subject of environmental education in curriculum of middle and high school. We select 495 middle and high schools from 3 district of Chungbuk, Daejeon and Incheon. And, we send the questionnaires to the principals and withrowed answer questionnaire of 313(63.2%) from them. From the analysis of questionnaire, we obtained the reliability coefficient cronbach alpha value(0.8684). The results of this research as fallows : the principal factors that had chosen the subject of environmental education have significantly higher knowledge, recognition, attitude and practice than that not choiced on the subject of environmental education(p=0.000). The correlation between principal's attitude on the choice of the subject of environmental education and choice state of school was significantly higher than the other factors, and it's correlation coefficient was 0.328(p<0.01). Principal's attitude factor on the choice of the subject of environmental education have a great influence on his practice factor of them, and standard regression coefficient was 0.642(p<0.001). We found that principal's attitude factor on the choice of the subject of environmental education to have a great influence on the choice state of school in view of the results so far achieved.
