정확도를 향상시킨 BGA 솔더볼 외관검사 기법 개발 (Development of an Accuracy-improved Vision Inspection System for BGA Solder Ball)

  • 현재 BGA 409 chip의 외관검사는 대부분 현미경을 이용한 육안검사로 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 인간의 시력에 의존하여 검사하는 현재의 외관검사 방법은 검사자의 육체적, 정신적 부분에 의하여 검사 결과가 변화하기 때문에 안정적인 결과를 기대하기 어렵다. 따라서 육안검사 시 발생하는 문제점을 개선하기 위해 BGA 솔더볼 외관검사의 비전 시스템이 개발 되었고, 이는 기존의 검사 방법에 비해 BGA 409 chip의 솔더볼의 외관검사의 신뢰성과 효율성을 증가시켰다. 하지만 BGA 솔더볼의 크기가 미세하고 그 특징의 구분이 힘들어 검사의 정확도가 떨어지고 오리엔테이션 오류가 발생하였다. 이에 본 논문에서는 BGA 솔더볼 외관검사의 정확도를 향상시키기 위해 에지 검출 알고리즘의 보완과 특징들만을 비교하는 패턴매칭 기법을 제안하였으며, 또한 특징 공간 설정의 기준이 되는 기준 영역의 개선을 통해 오리엔테이션 오류의 개선을 제안하였다. 즉, 본 논문에서는 기존의 비전 시스템의 정확도와 오리엔테이션 오류를 개선하는 방법을 제안함으로써 BGA 솔더볼 외관검사의 정확도를 향상시켜 결과적으로 BGA 솔더볼 외관검사의 에러율을 줄이고 검사 속도의 향상 등 기존의 외관검사 방법에 비해 향상된 검사 결과를 획득하였다.

  • 서로 다른 입자크기를 갖는 WC와 Co 분말 원료를 사용하여 $WC-10\;wt\%$Co 초경합금을 제조하였다. 이로부터 WC와 Co 원로. 입자크기가 제조된 초경합금의 성질에 미치는 영향에 대해 고찰하였다. WC 원료 입자크기가 클수록 제조된 초경합금이 파괴인성이 높고 경도는 낮게 나타나는데, 이러한 경향은 Co 원료 입자크기에 크게 영향 받지 않음을 알 수 있었다. Co 원료 크기의 영향 외에도 Co 원료 크기가 초경합금의 특성에 영향을 주는 것으로 밝혀졌는데, 동일한 WC 원료를 사용하여도 미세한 Co 원료를 사용할 경우, 보다 조대한 WC를 함유하여 인성이 우수한 초경합금을 제조할 수 있었다. 이로부터 Co 원료 입자크기가 초경합금의 미세구조 및 그 특성에 중요한 역할을 함을 알 수 있었다

고강도 저손실 가공송전선의 개발(I) - 기계적 특성 (Development of High Strength and Low Loss Overhead Conductor(I) - Mechanical Properties)

  • New conductor is developed by using high strength nonmagnetic steel(NM) wire as the core of overhead conductor. This conductor is called ACNR overhead conductor(Aluminum Conductor Nonmagnetic Steel Reinforced). Formed by the combination of aluminum alloy wire and high strength nonmagnetic steel wire, it has about the same weight and diameter as conventional ACSR overhead conductor. To enhance properties beneficial in an electrical and mechanical conductor during the process of high strength nonmagnetic steel wire, we made a large number of improvements and modifications in the working process, aluminum cladded method, and other process. ACNR overhead conductor, we successfully developed, has mechanical and electrical properties as good as or even better than conventional galvanized wire. Microstructure of raw material M wire was austenite and then deformed martensite after drawing process. Strength at room temperature is about $180kgf/mm^2\~200kgf/mm^2$. NM wire developed as core of overhead conductor shows heat resistant characteristics higher than that of HC wire used as core of commercial ACSR overhead conductor, Strength loss was not occur at heat resistant test below $600^{\circ}C$. Fatigue strength of vibration fatigue is about $32kgf/mm^2\~35kgf/mm^2$ and that of tension-tension fatigue is $90kgf/mm^2\~120kgf/mm^2$ which is $50\~65\%$ of tensile strength.

  • The degradation mechanism of $Mo_xW_{1-x}Si_2$ ultrahigh-temperature heating elements fabricated by self-propagating high-temperature synthesiswas investigated. The $Mo_xW_{1-x}Si_2$ specimens (with and without post-annealing) were subjected to ADTs (accelerated degradation tests) at temperatures up to $1,700^{\circ}C$ at heating rates of 3, 4, 5, 7, and $14^{\circ}C/min$. The surface loads of all the specimen heaters were increased with the increase in the target temperature. For the $Mo_xW_{1-x}Si_2$ specimens without annealing, many pores and secondary-phase particles were observed in the microstructure; the surface load increased to $23.9W/cm^2$ at $1,700^{\circ}C$, while the bending strength drastically reduced to 242 MPa. In contrast, the $Mo_xW_{1-x}Si_2$ specimens after post-annealing retained $single-Mo_xW_{1-x}Si_2$ phases and showed superior durability after the ADT. Consequently, it is thought that the formation of microcracks and coarse secondary phases during the ADT are the main causes for the degraded performance of the $Mo_xW_{1-x}Si_2$ heating elements without post-annealing.

실리카 퓸이 알칼리 활성화 슬래그 모르타르의 강도특성에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Silica Fume on Strength Properties of Alkali-Activated Slag Mortar)

  • 이 연구는 물-결합재(W/B) 비에 따른 실리카 퓸이 알칼리 활성화 슬래그 시멘트(AASC)에 미치는 유동성과 강도 특성에 대한 연구이다. W/B비는 0.50에서 0.60까지 0.05 단위로 일정하게 변화시켰다. 실리카 퓸은 고로슬래그 중량의 0%에서 50%까지 치환시켰다. 활성화제는 수산화나트륨(NaOH)를 사용하였고, 농도는 3M로 하였다. W/B 비에 따른 강도는 1, 3, 7 그리고 28일을 측정하였다. 유동성 측정 결과는 실리카 퓸의 치환율이 증가할수록 감소하였다. 압축강도는 실리카 퓸의 치환율이 증가할수록 증가하였다. 또한 W/B 비가 증가할수록 모든 재령에서 강도는 감소하였다. 실리카 퓸은 W/B 비와 실리카 퓸의 치환율에 따라서 활성화 반응을 증대시켜 강도를 증가시키는 것을 알 수 있었다.

올리고당의 수리미 냉동변성방지제로의 개발 (Development of Branched Oligosaccharides as a Cryoprotectant in Surimi)

  • 본 연구는 시판 올리고당들 중 이소말토올리고당, 프락토올리고당, 및 갈락토올리고당들을 8% 첨가하여 수리미를 제조한 후 3개월간 냉동저장하여 수리미에 냉동변성방지제로의 이용가능성을 살펴보았다. 준비된 수리미로 겔을 만든 후, 이들의 물성, 수분 보유능, 미세구조, 그리고 겔의 색깔을 측정하였으며 현재 상업적으로 이용되는 냉동변성방지제들(설탕, 설탕+솔비톨 혼합물)과 겔 특성을 비교하였다. TPA test에서 시판 올리고당들 중 프락토올리고당의 경우 가장 높은 hardness와 fracturability를 보였고, 다른 올리고당들은 기존의 냉동변성방지제들과 유사한 특성을 나타내었다. 또한 수분 보유능, 미세구조 그리고 겔의 색깔에 있어서도 시판 올리고당들은 기존의 냉동변성방지제들과 유사한 결과를 나타내어 시판 올리고당들의 수리미 냉동변성방지제로의 이용가능성을 확인할 수 있었다.

Influence of porosity and cement grade on concrete mechanical properties

  • The given research focuses on examining the effect of relatively humidity (RH) and curing temperature on the hydrates as well as the porosity of calcium sulfoaluminate (CSA) cement pastes. Numerous tests, which consist of mercury intrusion porosimetry (MIP), thermosgravi metric (TG) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) were conducted. Various characterization techniques which include, scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform microscopy along with X-ray diffraction evaluations were conducted on the samples to examine phase formation and crystallinity, morphology and microstructure along with bond formations and functional groups, respectively. During long-term study, the performance of concrete which consisted of limestone and flash-calcined was close to those from standard Portland cement concrete. Traditional classifications and methods of corrosion were widely used for the assessment of steel in concrete which may get employed to concrete which contains LC3 to recalibrate the range of polarization resistance for passitivity condition. For example, there is up to 79.5% and 146% respective flexural and compressive strengths. Moreover, they developed more advance electrical and thermo-mechanical performance with a substantial reduction in absorption of water of close to 400%. These advantages allow this research crucial to evaluate how these methods can be applied. Additionally, the research evaluates developed and more advanced cement preservation and repair techniques. The conclusion suggests concerted efforts by various stakeholders such as policy makers to enable low-carbon rates.

쌍로울형 박판연속주조공정의 개발과 자동화에 관한 연구 (The Study on Automation and Development of Strip Continuous Casting by Twin Roller Type)

  • In this study, the characteristics of cooling and rolling during strip casting process is obtained in comparison with the experimental and analytical results. The prupose of this study is to effectively analyze the thermal and mechanical deformation of roller applying the results of the heat transfer and the pressure distribution to boundary conditions. And then the relation between strip thickness and roll deformation is shown. The second purpose is to obtain the proper condition of the continuous casting for stainless steel. The summary and conclusions can be made on the basis of the results obtained by the theories and experiments. a) The strip casting condition for the fine surface quality of tin-alloy as-cast material was obtained in accordance with the velocity of roll rotation and initial roll gap. b) The experimental condition that the dimension of the cast strip thickness coincide with that of the initial roll gap was according to the experimental result of continuous casting by twin-roll type. c) The thermoelastic finite element model to calculate the roll deformation is represented. Thermoelastic model prediction for the roll deformation are in good agreement with the experimental results considering the thermal expansion of the roll. d) The higher cooling rates were obtained by a twin-roller quenching technique. Also quenched microstructure of the rapidly solidified shell was verified. e) The magnitude of roll deformation due to the thermal expansion and roll separating force is quantit- atively represented in the analysis of continuous casting for stainless steel.

  • [ $YBa_{2}Cu_{3}O_{7-x}$ ] thin films were fabricated on $LaAlO_3$(100) substrate by TFA-MOD process. Yttrium-excess (0, 2.5, 5, 10, 15, 20 $at\%$) coating solution was prepared by adding extra amount of yttrium into a stoichiometric(Y:Ba:Cu=1:2:3) TFA precursor solution. Results are presented concerning the influence of excess yttrium additions on the microstructure development and superconducting properties of $YBa_{2}Cu_{3}O_{7-x}$ film. Large sized CuO particles was observed by SEM EDS investigation. The addition of excess yttrium affected little on $T_c$ of $YBa_{2}Cu_{3}O_{7-x}$ film. $J_c$ of YBCO film was enhanced with excess yttrium addition. Jc maximum of $2.21\;MA/cm^2$ (77 K, self field) appeared with the $15\;at\%$ addition of excess yttrium. With further yttrium addition up to $20\;at\%$, Jc decreased down to $0.9\;MA/cm^2$.

  • Valve lifter namely tappet is supported by lifter hole which is located upper side of camshaft in cylinder block transforms rotatic mvement of camshaft into linear movement and helps to open and shut the en-gine valve as an engine parts. The face of valve lifter which is continuously contacting with camshaft brings about abnormal wears such as unfair wear and early wear because it is severely loaded in the valve train system. These wears act as a defect like over-clearance and cause imperfect combustion of fuel during the valve lifting in the combustion chamber. Consequently this imperfect combustion makes the engine out-put decrease and has cause on air pollution. To prevent these wears therefore The valve lifter cast in me-tal developed into SiC ceramics valve lifter which has an excellence in wear and impact resistance As a results the optimum process conditions like injection condition mixture ratio and debonding process could be established. After sintering fine-sinered dual microstructure in which prior ${\alpha}$-SiC matches well with new SiC(${\beta}$-SiC) produced by reaction among the ${\alpha}$-SiC carbon and silicon was obtained. Based on the study it is verified that mechanical properties of SiC valve lifter are excellent in Vickers hardness 1100-1200 bending strength (300-350 Pa) fracture toughness(1.5-1.7 Mpa$.$m1/2) Through engine dynamo test-ing SiC valve lifter and metal valve lifter are examined and compared into abnormal phenomena such as early fracture unfair and early wear. It is hoped that this research will serve as an important springboard for the future study of heavy duty diesel engine parts developed by ceramics which has a good wear resis-tance relaibility and lightability.
