Development of WIM System Using Digital Loadcell (디지털 로드셀을 이용한 WIM 시스템의 개발)

  • In this study, a signal processing and related techniques for development of a weight measuring system using a digital loadcell which is able to satisfy the important properties of WIM (weighing-in-motion) system have been investigated. A fast and high accurate signal processing of the digital load cell sensor for weighing-in-motion system is presented. A/D conversion system is constructed to realize a stable A/D conversion and signal processing algorithm using DSP and microprocessor. A new technique for vibration and measuring speed of the system is also investigated. The proposed method was applied to the actual design and the experimental results showed good performance of the weighing speed and stability.

  • This paper presents a design experience of a control language for coordination of a multi-robot system. To effectively program job commands, a Petrinet-type Graphical Robot Language(PGRL) is proposed, where some functions, such as concurrency and synchronization, for coordination among tasks can be easily programmed.In our system, the proposed task commands of PGRL are implemented by employing formal model languages, which are composed of three modules, sensory, data handling, and action module. It is expected that by using our proposed PGRL and formal languages, one can easily describe a job or task, and hence can effectively operate a complex real-time and concurrent system. The control system is being implemented by using VME-based 32-bit microprocessor boards for supervisory, each module controller(arm, hand, leg, sensor data processing module) and a real time multi-tasking operating system(VxWorks).   • Lately, the need for the use of calorimeter has been increased id Korea. Therefore, several met hods for the optimization of the microcomputer-based control system that can be used as a temperatare controller as well as a calorimeter are described in this paper. The instrument designed in this paper has been proved to be more powerful and costeffect ice than any other instrument not using microprocessor.

In recent years, the requirement for more sophisticated quality control procedures has been in the mass production industries. The requirements for high productivity and good welding qualities have lead to the development of more widely available microprocessor or computer based control.   • In this paper, the application of AMFC(adaptive model - following-control) algorithm to the D.C motor speed control is investigated by using the 68000 microprocessor. Computer simulation in discrete AMFC algorithm shows that output errors caused by the external input and the variation of parameters in D.C motor are converged to zero.

  • Microprocessor의 출현은 전자계산기 구조에 일대혁명을 일으볐으며 최근 몇년간 microcomputer가 세게적인 화제의 초점을 이루고 있고 그 응용은 극히 강력한 기대와 관심을 불러 일으키고 있다. Microcomputer의 가장 큰 특징은 micrs computer 자체가 한 system의 component로 사용될 수 있다는 점이며 application software의 개발여하에 따라 무한한 가능성을 약속해 주고 있다. 본 논문에서는 M6800 application software를 개발하기 위하여 M6800 crossassembler를 작성하였다. M6800은 Motorola에서 개발한 micrs computer로 전세계적으로 가장 널리 사용되고 있는 것 중의 하나이다. 본 논문의 2장의 첫 부분에서는 M6800 assembly language가 소개되고 두번째 부분에서는 cross-assembler의 기본적인 특성이 기술되고 있다.

  • The method to improve the efficiency of a slightly loaded induction motor is suggested. It is based upon the optimal efficiency slip tracking by adjusting the voltage to frequency ratio(V/f). It is adopted the converter-inverter fed induction motor drive system. All the control loops are implemented bh the Z-80 microprocessor. By this method, 10% or more improvement is achieved at a few fraction of the full load.

  • A fuzzy digital controller is combined an autopilot system for compensating the cross coupling effect of the induced roll due to the dynamic characteristic of three fin torpedo. However the utilization of fuzzy chip has many interfacing problems with typical microprocessors of the guidance and control unit. Since a fuzzy digital controller on a microprocessor uses a finite word length A/D converters arul D/A converters, ADC and DAC may generate nonlinear effects such as deadband and limit cycle phenomena. In this paper, the robustness of fuzzy digital controller is tested with ADC a finite word length.

  • A new PWM method for voltage source inverters is described. The switching instants determination of the proposed PWM scheme is simple. Therefore, hardware implementation with a microprocessor system is easy and high frequency operation of an inverter can be obtained. The maximum line-to-line output voltage of 3-phase inverter with the proposed scheme is larger than that of the SPWM inverter under a linear modulation region. Principle of the proposed PWM method is described and harmonic characteristic analysis is carried out.

  • This paper discusses the possibility of applying fuzzy logic controller in a microprocessor - based servomotor controller, such as servomotor position controller, which requires faster and more accurate response compared with other industrial processes. According to the fuzzy control rule made by tie analysis of error and error change, one Look-up table that contains various quantized step is made and appropriate initial error change is selected to the good responses.
