  • In these days, due to generalization of using smart mobile phone and wearable device such as smart watch, demand of Cover-glass and touch screen panel for protecting display increases. With increasing the demand of Cover-glass, slimming technique is promising for weight lightening, zero bezel. Cover-glass produced by this technique is required to decreasing thickness with increase strength. In the Cover-glass manufacturing process, mechanical processing and chemical processing has improve in the strength. Generally, Diamond electrodeposition wheel is used in mechanical process. Reinforced glass with the characteristics of the brittle and high hardness was manufactured by using a diamond electrodeposition wheel. At this time, Because of surface of the tool present non-uniform distribution of diamond particle, it has generate Loading of wheel and it has been decrease life of grinding tool, efficiency of grinding, quality and shape accuracy of workpiece. Thus Research is needed to controling particle distribution of diamond electrodeposition wheel uniformly. And it is necessary to study micro hole machining such as proximity senser hole, speaker hole positioned Cover-glass. Reinforced glass with the characteristics of the brittle and high hardness is difficult to machining. Processing of reinforced glass have generated wear of tool, micro cracks. Also, it is decreasing shape accuracy. In this paper, We conducted a study on how to control particle distribution uniformly about the diamond tool manufactured using elecetodeposition processing. It analyzed the factors that affect the arrangement of the particles in the electrodeposition process by design of experiment. And There is produced the grinding tool, which derives an optimum deposition conditions, for processing Cover-glass edge and the machinability was evaluated.

  • In this study we have designed and fabricated an inexpensive micro electronic system that we call Alvitek. It can indirectly but accurately predict and display the partial pressures of alveolar oxygen and carbon dioxide for the patients in the ICU of a hospital. Alvitek consists of both hardware part and software part. Performance of the system is tested by animal experiment with pigs for various $F_{t}e_{2}$ and RR(Respiratory Rate) values under the mechanical ventilation. The predicted alveolar gas partial pressures are cprpared with the approximate alveolar oxygen partial pressures easily calculated by the physician’s bedside formula. As a result, we have concluded that the relative error of A-$aDe_2$ calculated by the bedside formula grows seriously for lower $F_{t}e_{2}$ values. The present prediction method of Alvitek is henceforth believed very meaningful to the physicians. The system hardware and software are described in the text.

  • Recently, with improvement of internet service technology, web service has been affecting the environment for computing user. Not only current events, economics, game, entertainment, but also personal financial system is processed by web pages through internet. When data transmission is implemented on the internet, webpage acquire text form code and transform them to DOM information, and then shows processed display to user by web browser. However, those information are not only easily accessed by diversified route, but also easily deformed by intentional purpose. Furthermore, it is also possible to acquire logon information of users and certification information by detouring security mechanism. Therefore, this dissertation propose the method to verify integrity of web contents by using BHO which is one of the Add-On program based on MS Internet Explorer platform which is one of major web browser program designed by MicroSoft to detect any action of webpage deformation.

  • A lot of studies are undergoing on the magneto-optical (MO) properties of patterned magnetic systems for the reason that they have potential application to information technology such as ultrahigh-speed computing. Moreover, they can be considered as the future candidates for high-density MO storage devices. Not only the technical aspects, but there have been also tremendous interests in studying their properties related to the fundamental physics. The MO Kerr-rotation effects (both in reflected and the diffracted modes) and the magnetic force microscopy (MFM) are very useful techniques to investigate the micromagnetic properties of such periodic structures. Hence, in this study, we report on the MO properties of bilayered Cobalt (Co)/ nickel (Ni) micro-patterned anti-dot arrays. Such a ferromagnetic structure was made by sequentially depositing co (40 nm)/Ni (5 nm) bilayer on a Si substrate. The anti-dot patterning with hole diameter of $1{\mu}m$ was done only on the upper Co layer using photolithography technique, while the Ni underlayer was kept uniform. The longitudinal Kerr rotation (LKR) of the zeroth- and the first-order diffracted beams were measured at an incidence of $30^{\circ}$ by using a photoelastic modulator method. The external magnetic field was applied perpendicularly to the reflected and the diffracted beams using an electromagnet capable of a maximum field of ${\pm}5$ kOe. Significantly, it was observed that the LKR of the first-order diffracted beam is nearly 4 times larger than that of the zeroth-order beam. The simulated results for the hysteresis loops matched qualitatively well with the experimentally obtained ones. In conjunction with the LKR, we also investigated the magnetic-domain structure by using a MFM system, which were analyzed to elucidate the origin of the enhanced MO rotation.

  • The Dielectric Barrier Discharge (DBD) is a nonequilibrium gas discharge that is generated in the space between two electrodes, which are separated by an insulating dielectric layer. The dielectric layer can be put on either of the two electrodes or be inserted in the space between two electrodes. If an AC or pulse high voltage is applied to the electrodes that is operated at applied frequency from 50Hz to several MHz and applied voltages from a few to a few tens of kilovolts rms, the breakdown can occur in working gas, resulting in large numbers of micro-discharges across the gap, the gas discharge is the so called DBD. Compared with most other means for nonequilibrium discharges, the main advantage of the DBD is that active species for chemical reaction can be produced at low temperature and atmospheric pressure without the vacuum set up, it also presents many unique physical and chemical process including light, heat, sound and electricity. This has led to a number of important applications such as ozone synthesizing, UV lamp house, CO2 lasers, et al. In recent years, due to its potential applications in plasma chemistry, semiconductor etching, pollution control, nanometer material and large area flat plasma display panels, DBD has received intensive attention from many researchers and is becoming a hot topic in the field of non-thermal plasma.

  • LED arrays with pixel numbers of $3{\times}3$, $4{\times}4$, and $5{\times}5$ have been studied in this paper in order to enhance the optical output power and decrease heat dissipation of an AlGaInP-based light emitting diode display device (pixel size of $280{\times}280{\mu}m$) fabricated by micro-opto-electro-mechanical systems. Simulation results showed that the thermal resistances of the $3{\times}3$, $4{\times}4$, $5{\times}5$ arrays were $52^{\circ}C/W$, $69.7^{\circ}C/W$, and $84.3^{\circ}C/W$. The junction temperature was calculated by the peak wavelength shift method, which showed that the maximum value appears at the center pixel due to thermal crosstalk from neighboring pixels. The central temperature would be minimized with $40{\mu}m$ pixel pitch and $150{\mu}m$ substrate thickness as calculated by thermal modeling using finite element analysis. The modeling can be used to optimize parameters of highly integrated AlGaInP-based LED arrays fabricated by micro-opto-electro-mechanical systems technology.

  • Microlens cells of Ge-doped BPSG (Boro-Phospho-Silicate Glass) are fabricated by dicing the film produced by FHD (Flame Hydrolysis Deposition). Microlens arrays of $53.4{\mu}m$ square unit are produced by the thermal reflow of the diced unit cells at $1200^{\circ}C$. The gap between the microlenses was about $70{\mu}m,$ and the thickness of the produced lens was about $28.4{\mu}m$. We analyzed the reflowed shape of the microlens cell by an image-process technique, and the focal length was about $62.2{\mu}m$. This method of fabricating a microlens is simple and inexpensive compared to the conventional method using the photolithographic process. Also, the control of the radius of curvature of the microlens is easier and a more precise microlens way of various types can be fabricated using this method.

  • Display manufacturing process has adopted RCA cleaning, applying to larger area and coping with environmental issue for last ten years. However, the approaching concept of ozonized, hydrogenised, or electrolyzed water cleaning technologies is within RCA clean paradigm. In this work, only electrolyzed anode water was applied to clean particles and organics as well as metals based on Pourbaix concept, and as a test vehicle, MgO particles were introduced to prove the new concept. The electrolyzed anode water is very oxidative with high oxidation reduction potential (ORP) and low in pH of more than 900 mV and 3.1, respectively. MgO particles were immersed in the anode water and its weight losses due to dissolution were measured with time. Weight losses were in the ranges of 100 to 500 micrograms in 250 ml anode water depending on their ORP and pH. Therefore it was concluded that the cleaning radicals in the anode water was at least in the range of 1 to $5{\times}10^{20}$ ea per 250 ml anode water equivalent to $1{\times}10^{18} ea/cm^2$. Hence it can be assumed that the anode water applied to display cleaning from now on $1{\times}10^{10}$ to $1{\times}10^{15} ea/cm^2$ ranges of contaminants are being treated. In addition, it was observed that anode water did not develop micro-roughness on hydrophobic surface while it did on the native silicon oxide.

  • As the dependence of technology on the economic structure increases, the importance of National Core Technology is increasing. However, due to the nature of the technology itself, it is difficult to determine the scope of the technology to be protected because the scope of the relation is abstract and information disclosure is limited due to the nature of the National Core Technology. To solve this problem, we propose the most appropriate literature type and method of analysis to distinguish important technologies related to National Core Technology. We conducted a pilot test to apply TF-IDF, and LDA topic modeling, two techniques of text mining analysis for big data analysis, to four types of literature (news, papers, reports, patents) collected with National Core Technology keywords in the field of Display industry. As a result, applying LDA theme modeling to patent data are highly relevant to National Core Technology. Important technologies related to the front and rear industries of displays, including OLEDs and microLEDs, were identified, and the results were visualized as networks to clarify the scope of important technologies associated with National Core Technology. Throughout this study, we have clarified the ambiguity of the scope of association of technologies and overcome the limited information disclosure characteristics of national core technologies.

  • In this study, the polymeric membrane module is used as a diffuser and an image analysis technique based on visual information is applied to get bubble characteristics. The bubble size generated passed through polymeric membrane module was smaller from 30 to 64% than that of air stone, and bubble volume over 70% was ranged from 0.2 to 0.82 mm. But over 80% the bubbles from air stone diffuser ranged from 0.77 to 1.08 mm. The air stone and polymeric membrane module used as diffuser for a flotation system. The floc size inside the flotation reactor using air stone diffuser was bigger than that of the polymeric membrane module, which means that the micro-bubbles generated from polymeric membrane module could provide better opportunities for collisions between colloidal particles than those from air stone diffuser. Therefore, there is a possibility to apply the polymeric membrane module as a diffuser to increase the removal efficiency in the flotation process. Also, the image analysis technique used in this study could be applied as a useful analytical tool for acquisition of an information about the bubble characteristic.
