From these meaningful responses, the researcher constructed 32 meanings. And then, those meanings were classified according to their similarities and grouped into 9 themes, and finally categorized into 4 themes. More specifically, what were stressful to the subjects that they were experiencing in the training course of mental health social work could be largely categorized into 4 themes, or 'lots of trouble in interpersonal relations', 'too much tightness in training schedule', 'little consideration of them by the training agency', and 'poor organization of the training course'. Internet addiction was a significantly positive correlation between adult children propensity(r=.395, p<.001) and mental health(r=.479, p<.001). Adult children propensity was a significantly positive correlation with mental health(r=.432, p<.001). Also, General characteristics, internet addiction and adult children propensity accounted for 42% of the variance in mental health among college students. The implication of the results is need to consider adult children propensity to reduce internet addiction and improve mental health in college students.
The purpose of this study is to assess the relationships of alcohol consumption patterns to mental distress and self-rated health. Data of 19,856 adult drinkers over 19 years of age and older from the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey were evaluated by multivariate logistic regression analysis. Risks of experiencing perceived high stress, depressive symptoms and suicidal thoughts were higher in alcohol use disorder group in male, whereas the risks were higher in both alcohol use disorder and hazardous drinking groups in female, reflecting higher susceptibility to mental distress. In both male and female, former drinkers presented poor self-rated health compared with low-risk drinkers, although no difference was found in the prevalence of mental distress. Specialized mental health management measures for female drinkers are required, and former drinkers are suggested to be assessed separately from never or low-risk drinkers for their physical and mental health status.

Objectives: We aimed to assess the test-retest reliability, internal consistency, and validity of the Korean version of the Quantitative Checklist for Autism in Toddlers (Q-CHAT). Methods: The Korean version of the Q-CHAT and the Korean version of the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL) 1.5-5 were completed by parents of 24 toddlers and preschoolers with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and 80 unselected toddlers and preschoolers. Parents of the ASD group also completed the Social Communication Questionnaire (SCQ), and Childhood Autism Rating Scale (CARS) scores were obtained from medical records. Results: The ASD group scored higher on the Q-CHAT than the unselected group. The Cronbach's alpha coefficient of the Q-CHAT was 0.658, and test-retest reliability was calculated to be 0.836. The estimated area under the curve was 0.793. The total scores of the Q-CHAT in the ASD group demonstrated significant positive correlations with findings regarding pervasive development problems in the CBCL, SCQ, and CARS. A total score of 33.5 may be a useful cutoff point to use when identifying toddlers at risk of ASD. Conclusion: The Korean version of the Q-CHAT has good reliability and validity and can be used as a screening tool in order to identify toddlers and preschool children at risk of ASD.

The indirect effect of mental health on psychological well-being through self-reassuring was significantly higher than the indirect effect of psychological well-being through self-attacking. Based on the results of this study, we discussed the role of self-reassuring in the relationship between mental health and psychological well-being.

The purpose of this study was to explore the nature of the relationship between several factors representing the mental health enumerated in the psychology literature and the dadaptability to group life which all of th KMU students encounter. An empirical study was carried out to examine not only the differences in mental health of 4 kinds of students groups but also the impact of interaction which mental health affects to the adaptability to group life among grades. The several factors of the mental health can be utilized in suggesting the theoretical bases for the countermeasures of the effective group life along with the motivation of KMU students. The data investigating the impact of interaction between mental health and the adaptability to group life were collected from 537 KMU students selected from 4 different kinds of population-(1) Freshman group (2) Sophomore group (3) Junior group (4) Senior group-by the use of questionnaire method and interview. The 2-way analysis of variance (MANOVA) were used to analyze the data. The results of this study were found as follows; (1) There are significant difference in the cognition of gloom, personal sensitiveness, anagonism, anxiety and total score among 4 grade groups, (2) The freshmen group and the sophomore group have perceived gloom, personal sensitiveness, antagonism, and total score more acutely than the junior group and senior group have. (3) There are significant differences in perceiving an obession and personal sensitiveness according to the adaptation types to the group life; adaopted type, non-adapted type. Data from a subsample of 2,306 adolescents, who participated in the "child-youth synthesize survey" was utilized. The measurement and structural models were estimated using structural equation modeling. Partial and full mediation models were compared, and X2 difference test was conducted between the two models. The study results show that children's overweight and obesity problem have a direct effect on mental health problems. In addition, bullying was found to mediate the association between children's overweight and obesity problem and mental health problems. The analytic results confirmed that the model fit for the full mediation model was better than the partial mediation model when examining the mediating effect of bullying on the relations between children's overweight and obesity problem and mental health problems. Efforts to prevent mental health problems may require interventions for children's with overweight and obesity problems as well as inventions for reducing bullying in general.
