Objective: The purpose of this study was to report the radiological and symptomatic changes in a patient with acute herniated lumbar disc due to coughing, treated with megadose pharmacopuncture and combined Korean medicine. Methods: MRI examination diagnosed an acute lumbar disc herniation by coughing. We performed a combination treatment of megadose pharmacopuncture and integrated Korean medicine. NRS, ODI, EQ-5D, SLR test, and big toe extension test were checked on admission, after two weeks, on discharge, and after four months to confirm symptom improvements. Results: In the acute stage of lumbar intervertebral disc rupture, megadose pharmacopuncture combined with Korean medicine treatment showed improvement in NRS, ODI, EQ-5D, SLRT, and big toe extension tests. In addition, absorption of the herniated intervertebral discs was observed through an MRI scan on discharge. Conclusions: For patients with herniated lumbar disc acutely deteriorated by coughing, a combination of megadose pharmacopuncture with Korean medicine treatment may be a solution.

The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of Megadose pharmacopuncture with Korean Medicine Treatment on patients who were diagnosed as ThoracoLumbar Junction Syndrome. Megadose pharmacopuncture was proceeded on 4 patients who received treatment at ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ Korean Medicine Hospital from November, 2016 to Februrary, 2017. In addition, We also kept a record of NRS, ODI, and EQ-5D on the day of admission and discharge to find out the differences between initial and final figures. As a result, Megadose parmacopuncture showed a significant effect on alleviating pain on patients with ThoracoLumbar Junction Syndrome. There was a significant decrease in NRS, ODI scores. Not only did the scores of NRS and ODI decrease significantly,but also the figures of EQ-5D increased significantly as well. To be specific, the mean of NRS and ODI dcreased from 10 to 1.75 and 61.87 to 12.78 while the mean of EQ-5D increased from 0.258 to 0.850. This research suggests Megadose pharmacopuncture with Korean Medicine Treatment could be a remedy for ThoracoLumbar Junction Syndrome.

The purpose of this research is to show the effectiveness of spinal stenosis treated by Hominis Placenta Megadose pharmacopuncture combined with Korean medicine treatment. We used Hominis Placenta Megadose pharmacopuncture treatment on patients who received treatment at Bucheon Jaseng Korean medicine hospital from March, 2016 to October, 2016. Also we checked Numeric Rating Scale(NRS), Oswestry low back pain Disability Index(ODI) to follow the scale showing the improvement of the symptoms of the patients. All 4 patients showed the improvement of NRS, ODI scales. This research suggests Hominis Placenta Megadose pharmacopuncture combined with Korean medicine treatment can help treat spinal stenosis.

Objectives : The purpose of this research is to show the effectiveness of the Korean medical treatment on patients diagnosed with supraspinatus tendinosis, subacromial bursitis and subdeltoid bursitis treated by Korean medical treatment Including megadose shinbaro pharmacopuncture. Methods : We used megadose shinbaro pharmacopuncture on patients who received treatment at Bucheon Jaseng Korean medicine hospital from December, 2016 to January, 2017. Also we checked NRS, SPADI, range of motion(ROM) and shoulder physical examination to follow the scale showing the improvement of the symptoms of the patients. Results : All 4 patientes showed the improvement of NRS, SPADI range of motion(ROM) and shoulder physical examination. Conclusion : This research showed that megadose shinbaro pharmacopuncture was effective on the treatment of shoulder pain patients diagnosed with supraspinatus tendinosis, subacromial bursitis and subdeltoid bursitis.

Objective : To report cases of HIVD of C&L-Spine successfully treated with conservative Korean Traditional Medicine treatment with Megadose Pharmacoacupuncture. Methods : Four patients diagnosed with HIVD of C&L-Spine were treated with Megadose Pharmacopuncture, acupuncture and herbal medicine. Numeric Rating Scale(NRS), Neck Disablility Index(NDI) and Oswestry low back pain Disablility Index(ODI) scores were collected before and after treatment for comparison. Results : There was a significant decrease in NRS, NDI and ODI scores. The mean NRS score decresed from 9 to 2.25, NDI from 45 to 14 and ODI from 46.66 to 11.33. Conclusion : The result suggests Megadose Pharmacoacupuncture can be an effective treatment on patients with HIVD of C&L-Spine.
