An Exploratory Research on Factors Influence Perceived Compliance Cost and Information Security Awareness in Small and Medium Enterprise (보안정책 준수 비용과 정보보안 중요성 인식 수준에 미치는 요인에 관한 연구: 중소기업을 중심으로)

  • The ultimate intention of this research is to identify the factors that have a significant effect on the perceived importance of information security as the antecedent of intention to information security policy compliance. We found that the effectiveness of information security training program did not have statistically significant effect on the perceived cost of policy compliance. Second, the effectiveness of information security policy has significant influence on the perceived cost of policy compliance. Third, perceived vulnerability has a significant effect on the perceived cost of policy compliance. Fourth, perceived cost of policy compliance has a significant effect on perceived importance of information security. Fifth, supervisor's attitude toward information security silence has a significant effect on employee silent behavior towards information security. Sixth, communication opportunities towards information security has a significant influence on employee silent behavior towards information security. Finally, it was shown that employee silent behavior towards information security had a significant influence on the perceived importance of information security.

  • The trend of business work that is related to supply chain changed into e-business using the electronic document However, the small and medium enterprise organizations still use huge volume of paper document, especially in private sector. Recently, the need for eco-friendly and low cost logistics becomes increasing. For this, it has expanded to exchange or to use e-document rather than the paper or manual processing in supply chain business. Therefore, this paper proposed the electronic access system for supply chain by business process modeling. If it is using the proposed system, it can be saving the exchanged or the scanned document to system, and user can utilize that document on just accessing system whenever they need the document. We believe it might reduce the burden of each organization because they don't need to save large volume data to their system or place. Furthermore, the benefits will effect across the national as well as global.

  • The purpose of this study is to view the current status of the smart manufacturing ecosystem and to use it as an objective basis for establishing a sustainable manpower training policy support plans for smart manufacturing suppliers. Therefore, questionnaires were constructed and distributed to 2,200 domestic smart manufacturing supply firms and 6,000 demand firms, which received responses from 259 supply firms and 155 demand firms. The results showed that both supply and demand firms needed digital converged workforce with comprehensive expertise and field-oriented digital transformation workforce. In the method of securing professional manpower, the demand for in-service training and post-management training was high. Based on the results of this study, this study suggests the manpower training policy support plans for smart manufacturing supply firms and contributes to strengthening the global market competitiveness of smart manufacturing supply firms in Korea.

  • In this paper, we introduce PMS's main function and main effect which implemented medium and large scale software development project site, and we propose importance and improvement nacessity of PMS implementation. PMS's main functions are developed based on best practices which CMMI model and PMBOK. Also, each PMS has specialized unique function according to it's target industry area or related I.T solutions which has infra dependency. The effectiveness of PMS implementation on project site is seperated two types, one is qualitative effect, the other quantitative effect. Representative qualitative effects are improvement of enterprise's image and competency. Also representative quantitative effect is reduction of project management cost as a financial effect. As far as project size is increase, PMS's needs and necessariness will be increase, so we need to improve PMS;s function according to project management's global trend and software customer's requisition.

  • 최근 ERP 시스템이 기업의 전략적 도구로 인식되어지면서, 대기업뿐만 아니라 중소기업에서도 이에 대한 관심이 확산되고 있다. 이러한 경영환경의 변화로 ERP 시스템 도입에 대한 최고경영자 및 일반직원들의 인식이 이전에 비해 높아지고는 있지만, 사실상 인식만 있을 뿐 이에 대한 실제적인 실천전략이 미흡한 실정이다. 이는 중소기업에서 ERP 시스템 구축을 위해서는 수개월 또는 수년간에 걸쳐서 기업의 많은 자원이 투입돼야하기 때문으로 중소기업이 이를 극복하고 성공적인 ERP 시스템을 구축하기 위해서는 중소기업 환경에 적합한 ERP시스템 구축방안이 마련되어야 할 것이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존에 선행 연구된 연구자료를 비교ㆍ분석하여 중소기업의 특성에 적합한 ERP 시스템 구축 성공요인과 구축전략을 도출하였다 주요성공요인으로는 교육훈련, 명확한 도입목표 설정, 적합한 패키지 선정, 최고경영진의 참여, 그리고 현업사용자의 참여가 높은 빈도율을 나타냈다. ERP 시스템 구축방법론은 준비단계, 분석단계, 구축단계, 구현단계, 종료단계의 다섯 단계로 나눠볼 수 있으며 각각의 수행단계별로 Activity가 정의되고 이에 대한 산출물이 발생하게 된다. 또한 ERP 도입시 소프트웨어의 자체개발보다는 패키지 도입이, 그리고 이의 접근방법으로는 선정된 모듈을 일괄적으로 적용하는 Big-Bang방식이 중소기업 실정에 더 합리적이며, 구현시기에 있어서는 Big-Bang방식과 더불어 기존업무에 ERP 시스템을 구현함으로써 ERP 시스템이 제공하는 기능과 함께 BPR의 효과도 얻는 방법이 가장 적합할 것으로 사료된다. 끝으로 본 논문에서는 ERP 시스템 도입의사가 있어도 기업환경 여건이 따라주지 않아 실천에 옮기지 못하는 중소기업을 고려하여 도입지원방안으로써 산ㆍ학 연계모델을 제시하였다. 중소기업은 ERP 시스템 도입에 필요한 인적ㆍ물적 자원을 대학으로부터 얻음으로써 자체 내 보유능력의 한계를 극복하고, 대학은 현장실습을 통해 풍부한 경험을 쌓음으로써 우수 인력 양성에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

  • Company's interest in the work place training and investment has been growing continuously because the talent of human resource is the competitiveness itself in the knowledge based society. However, corporate training programs mainly have focused on large companies and SMEs despite the economic business volume have been treated too lightly so far. This paper regards corporate training programs with one of the methods for SMEs innovation and proposes the smart learning in the smart device diffusion. Concretely, this paper analyzes the utilization intention, each attribute and level in smart learning characteristics using conjoint analysis. The result shows that SMEs have positive response for smart learning acceptance and SMEs consider significantly the usage fee type and location with the difference between regular employee and administrator. Specially, interactive communication and customized contents are preferred in the training type. Smart learning can be used as strategic means in supporting the value innovation and enhancing the absorptive capacity in SMEs innovation process.

Cloning and Expression of a Thermostable ${\alpha}$-Galactosidase from the Thermophilic Fungus Talaromyces emersonii in the Methylotrophic Yeast Pichia pastoris

  • The first gene (${\alpha}$-gal1) encoding an extracellular ${\alpha}$-Dgalactosidase from the thermophilic fungus Talaromyces emersonii was cloned and characterized. The ${\alpha}$-gal1 gene consisted of an open reading frame of 1,792 base pairs interrupted by six introns that encoded a mature protein of 452 amino acids, including a 24 amino acid secretory signal sequence. The translated protein had highest identity with other fungal ${\alpha}$-galactosidases belonging to glycosyl hydrolase family 27. The ${\alpha}$-gal1 gene was overexpressed as a secretory protein with an N-terminal histidine tag in the methylotrophic yeast Pichia pastoris. Recombinant ${\alpha}$-Gal1 was secreted into the culture medium as a monomeric glycoprotein with a maximal yield of 10.75 mg/l and purified to homogeneity using Hisbinding nickel-agarose affinity chromatography. The purified enzyme was maximally active at $70^{\circ}C$, pH 4.5, and lost no activity over 10 days at $50^{\circ}C$. ${\alpha}$-Gal1 followed Michaelis-Menten kinetics ($V_{max}\;of\;240.3{\mu}M/min/mg,\;K_m\;of\;0.294 mM$) and was inhibited competitively by galactose ($K_m{^{obs}}$ of 0.57 mM, $K_i$ of 2.77 mM). The recombinant T. emersonii ${\alpha}$-galactosidase displayed broad substrate preference, being active on both oligo- and polymeric substrates, yet had strict specificity for the ${\alpha}$-galactosidic linkage. Owing to its substrate preference and noteworthy stability, ${\alpha}$-Gal1 is of particular interest for possible biotechnological applications involving the processing of plant materials.

  • The research purpose of the article is to evaluate the effects of the internal control components on the effectiveness of internal control of transport construction enterprises in Vietnam, on the basis of which we made recommendations to contribute to improving the effectiveness of internal control. Sample was collected from Vietnamese medium and large transport construction enterprises, the total number of sample questionnaires sent was 400, 330 filled-up questionnaires was collected and 250 was used for the study purpose. Quantitative research method was used for the study with the help of the SPSS software. The variables in the model are as follows: the dependent variable is the effectiveness of internal control, 5 independent variables are: control environment, risk assessment, control activities, communication, and monitoring. The results of the analysis explain 80.4% variation as a result of the effect of internal control on the Vietnamese transport construction enterprise. All five components positively affect the effectiveness of internal controls in the order of influence, which are: control activities, control environment, communication, risk assessment and monitoring. This study contributes in providing more empirical evidence about the effects of internal control components on the effectiveness of internal control of transport construction enterprises in Vietnam. The study has proposed a number of recommendations to help transport construction enterprises improve control activities and contribute towards improving the effectiveness of internal control.

  • This study is to determine the status of satisfaction and well-being and work environment aimed at SME workers, deficiencies is to improve the overall satisfaction improvement. As a result of the confidence analysis to verify the reliability of the measurement tool, all of the factors is somewhat higher reliability coefficient was found to less than 0.6. Job factors, relationship factors, compensating factors are subjected to multiple regression analysis as job satisfaction and welfare duties factors to determine the impact on satisfaction, relationship factors, the compensation factor as an independent variable and dependent of each job satisfaction and welfare satisfaction variable result of three factors, job factors and compensation factors, two factors had significant influence on job satisfaction. When the job factor ${\beta}$ value(0.584), the compensation factor(0.369) showed a net impact on job satisfaction big. By improving the business environment and well-being through improved employee satisfaction, it came to a positive attitude to business is expected to have a positive impact on the satisfaction of external customers.

  • The primary goal of this study is to develop proper indicators for evaluating and selecting an organization that contributes product safety in his industry. The indicators of product safety include input, process, and output in the sequences of product safety activities and systems. The indicators are proposed by the side of measurable and unmeasurable index. In detail, the indicators are consist of 3 parts - product safe management, efforts for product safety and the performance of product safety. The indicators are itemized by size of enterprise (large, medium and small size) due to the difference of their system and management capability of product safety. To get the indicators reasonably, the opinions of experts and VOC of the industrial field are considered. And the indicators are also divided by job position and level(an executive vs. worker). The items of indicators are 20 and the score is 200, that are the same whichever the case may be. The indicators are useful tools for selecting a person who serves the development of product safety in his industry.
