Background: A validation study is needed to make domestic applications of German Kneipp therapy. Purpose: The study aims to test the effect of a Kneipp therapeutic program in a domestic forest environment on the autonomic nervous system. Methods: The program was made considering the 4 key elements ('exercise', 'regulative therapy', 'nutrition', and 'phytotherapy') of the Kneipp therapy. Total 3 sessions (once a week for 5 hours in each session) were performed to 40 domestic adults divided into four groups (10 in each group). HRV was measured on the subjects before and after the intervention, and its 6 characteristic parameters (TP, VLF, LF, HF, LF/HF, CSI: Cumulative Stress Index) were compared for statistical analysis. Results: For 33 subjects excluding 7 who were disturbed by interrupt factors during measurements, significant improvements after the intervention, were observed in TP(8.64%, p < ..001), VLF(6.96%, p < .05), LF(15.86%, p < .001), HF(8.46%, p < .01), LF/HF(5.77%, p < .05) and CSI(-16.06%, p < ..001). Conclusions: The Kneipp therapy performed in the forest environment was shown to activate the autonomic nervous system and in particular the sympathetic and parasympatheric nervous to promote heart activity, and was also shown to most significantly reduce cumulative stress. The present observations would be the first preliminary evidence that the Kneipp therapeutic interventation in a domestic forest environment results in positive responses of the autonomic nervous system including stress relief.
A hyper-connected intelligence information society is emerging that creates new value by converging IoT, AI, and Bigdata, which are new technologies of the fourth industrial revolution, in all industrial fields. Everything is connected to the network and data is exploding, and artificial intelligence can learn on its own and even intellectual judgment functions are possible. In particular, the Internet of Things provides a new communication environment that can be connected to anything, anytime, anywhere, enabling super-connections where everything is connected. Artificial intelligence technology is implemented so that computers can execute human perceptions, learning, reasoning, and natural language processing. Artificial intelligence is developing advanced technologies such as machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, voice recognition, and visual recognition, and includes software, machine learning, and cloud technologies specialized in various applications such as safety, medical, defense, finance, and welfare. Through this, it is utilized in various fields throughout the industry to provide human convenience and new values. However, on the contrary, it is time to respond as intelligent and sophisticated cyber threats are increasing and accompanied by potential adverse functions such as securing the technical safety of new technologies. In this paper, we propose a new data modeling method to enable IoT integrated security control by utilizing artificial intelligence technology as a way to solve these adverse functions.

The PhotoAcoustic Microscopy (PAM) has been proved to be a useful tool for biological and medical applications due to its high spatial and contrast resolution. PAM is based on transmission of laser pulses and reception of PA signals. Since the strength of PA signals is generally low, not only are high-performance optical and acoustic modules required, but high-performance electronics for imaging are also particularly needed for high-quality PAM imaging. Most PAM systems are implemented with a combination of several pieces of equipment commercially available to receive, amplify, enhance, and digitize PA signals. To this end, PAM systems are inevitably bulky and not optimal because general purpose equipment is used. This paper reports a PA signal receiving system recently developed to attain the capability of improved Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) and Contrast to Noise Ratio (CNR) of PAM images; the main module of this system is a low noise, wideband signal receiver that consists of two low-noise amplifiers, two variable gain amplifiers, analog filters, an Analog to Digital Converter (ADC), and control logic. From phantom imaging experiments, it was found that the developed system can improve SNR by 6.7 dB and CNR by 3 dB, compared to a combination of several pieces of commercially available equipment.

The ferroelectricity in Hf0.5Zr0.5O2 (HZO) thin films is one of the most interesting topics for next-generation nonvolatile memory applications. It is known that a crystallization process is required at a temperature of 400℃ or higher to form an orthorhombic phase that results in the ferroelectric properties of the HZO film. However, to realize the integration of ferroelectric HZO films in the back-end-of-line, it is necessary to reduce the annealing temperature below 400℃. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the ferroelectric properties according to the annealing temperature (350-500℃) and time (1-5 h) using a furnace as a crystallization method for HZO films. As a result, the ferroelectric behaviors of the HZO films were achieved at a temperature of 400℃ or higher regardless of the annealing time. At the annealing temperature of 350℃, the ferroelectric properties appeared only when the annealing time was sufficiently increased (4 h or more). Based on these results, it was experimentally confirmed that the optimization of the annealing temperature and time is very important for the ferroelectric phase crystallization of HZO films and the improvement of their ferroelectric properties.
Metal material inserted into the body have a large difference in density from human tissues or bones around the Metal during CT scans.. Therefore, the Metal material inserted into the body produces Artifact. Metal Artifact, which occurs around Metals, can degrade the quality of CT images, causing confusion when medical team diagnose lesions. Through this experiment, we confirm that the occurrence of Artifacts decrease by using Dual energy CT and MAR algorithm in Single source Dual energy CT. We also want to present basic data on clinical application methods by comparing and analyzing the characteristics of images obtained by each method. Using GE 750HD CT, artificial implants were scanned using general method and Dual energy. Then we apply the MAR algorithm to each image obtained. And all previously acquired images were compared and analyzed the characteristics of the examination, such as image quality evaluation and dose evaluation. Images with MAR algorithm and Dual Energy confirmed a decrease in Metal Artifact. Images with MAR algorithm have reduced Metal Artifact, but have the disadvantage of distorting the details of artificial joint implants. On the other hand images teseted with Dual Energy have the advantage of being able to implement details than those applied with MAR algorithms, it takes longer to reconstruct the image and the exposure dose was about four times higher than those applied with MAR algorithm. In order to locate Metals, such as the post-operative follow-up period, it is useful to apply MAR algorithm to obtain images. And it is more useful to examine with Dual Energy when micro lesion identification, such as cardiac examination, and surgical planning or when tests are performed in diagnostic way.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the service attributes and consumer reactions of telemedicine apps in South Korea and visualize their differentiation by constructing positioning maps. We crawled 23,219 user reviews of 6 major telemedicine apps in Korea from the Google Play store. Topics were derived by BERTopic modeling, and sentiment scores for each topic were calculated through KoBERT sentiment analysis. As a result, five service characteristics in the application attribute category and three in the medical service category were derived. Based on this, a two-dimensional positioning map was constructed through principal component analysis. This study proposes an objective service evaluation method based on text mining, which has implications. In sum, this study combines empirical statistical methods and text mining techniques based on user review texts of telemedicine apps. It presents a system of service attribute elicitation, sentiment analysis, and product positioning. This can serve as an effective way to objectively diagnose the service quality and consumer responses of telemedicine applications.
Recently, Deep learning analysis of unstructured text data using language models, such as Google's BERT and OpenAI's GPT has shown remarkable results in various applications. Most language models are used to learn generalized linguistic information from pre-training data and then update their weights for downstream tasks through a fine-tuning process. However, some concerns have been raised that privacy may be violated in the process of using these language models, i.e., data privacy may be violated when data owner provides large amounts of data to the model owner to perform fine-tuning of the language model. Conversely, when the model owner discloses the entire model to the data owner, the structure and weights of the model are disclosed, which may violate the privacy of the model. The concept of offsite tuning has been recently proposed to perform fine-tuning of language models while protecting privacy in such situations. But the study has a limitation that it does not provide a concrete way to apply the proposed methodology to text classification models. In this study, we propose a concrete method to apply offsite tuning with an additional classifier to protect the privacy of the model and data when performing multi-classification fine-tuning on Korean documents. To evaluate the performance of the proposed methodology, we conducted experiments on about 200,000 Korean documents from five major fields, ICT, electrical, electronic, mechanical, and medical, provided by AIHub, and found that the proposed plug-in model outperforms the zero-shot model and the offsite model in terms of classification accuracy.
Nuclear medicine emission computed tomography(ECT) can be very useful to diagnose early stage of neuronal diseases and to measure theraputic results objectively, if we can quantitate energy metabolism, blood flow, biochemical processes, or dopamine receptor and transporter using ECT. However, physical factors including attenuation, scatter, partial volume effect, noise, and reconstruction algorithm make it very difficult to quantitate independent of type of SPECT. In this study, we quantitated the effects of attenuation and scatter using brain SPECT and three-dimensional brain phantom with and without applying their correction methods. Dual energy window method was applied for scatter correction. The photopeak energy window and scatter energy window were set to 140ke${\pm}$10% and 119ke${\pm}$6% and 100% of scatter window data were subtracted from the photopeak window prior to reconstruction. The projection data were reconstructed using Butterworth filter with cutoff frequency of 0.95cycles/cm and order of 10. Attenuation correction was done by Chang's method with attenuation coefficients of 0.12/cm and 0.15/cm for the reconstruction data without scatter correction and with scatter correction, respectively. For quantitation, regions of interest (ROIs) were drawn on the three slices selected at the level of the basal ganglia. Without scatter correction, the ratios of ROI average values between basal ganglia and background with attenuation correction and without attenuation correction were 2.2 and 2.1, respectively. However, the ratios between basal ganglia and background were very similar for with and without attenuation correction. With scatter correction, the ratios of ROI average values between basal ganglia and background with attenuation correction and without attenuation correction were 2.69 and 2.64, respectively. These results indicate that the attenuation correction is necessary for the quantitation. When true ratios between basal ganglia and background were 6.58, 4.68, 1.86, the measured ratios with scatter and attenuation correction were 76%, 80%, 82% of their true ratios, respectively. The approximate 20% underestimation could be partially due to the effect of partial volume and reconstruction algorithm which we have not investigated in this study, and partially due to imperfect scatter and attenuation correction methods that we have applied in consideration of clinical applications.
Purpose: Billroth II gastroenterostomy is a typical reconstruction method after distal gastrectomy for gastric carcinoma, but it has problems, especially frequent reflux esophagitis. Various methods have been tried to address this problem. Among them are Braun enteroenterostomy and Roux-en-Y gastroenterostomy, which are performed separately according to the size of the gastric remnant. The aim of our study was to determine whether these applications are compatible. Materials and Methods: Between September 2003 and April 2007, we performed Roux-en-Y gastroenterostomy operations (14 patients) when the size of the gastric remnant was <10%, Braun enteroenterostomy (17 patients) when the size was between 10 and 20%, and Billroth II gastroenterostomy (14 patients) when the size was between 20 and 40% after subtotal gastrectomy for gastric cancer by a single surgeon at our hospital. We analyzed the results of each treatment. We evaluated the symptoms and endoscopic findings using questionnaires and hospital records. To evaluate nutritional states, we reviewed albumin and hemoglobin levels and body weight changes. Results: All operations were performed safely mortality was 0% and postoperative complications were 8.9%. On endoscopy, reflux gastritis was observed to occur in 7.63%, 18.65% and 40.0%, respectively, of patients who had undergone Roux-en-Y, Braun and Billroth II operations (P=0.13). Reflux esophagitis was observed in 1 patient in the Roux-en-Y group and 1 patient in the Braun group. Endoscopic gastrostasis was observed in 2 patients in the Roux-en-Y group, one of which was thought to cause reflux esophagitis. Patients in the Roux-en-Y group and Braun groups ingested a lower volume of food than did those in the Billroth II group (respectively, 7.1%, 0.0% and 28.7%) and complained less of postprandial discomforts (respectively, 14.3%, 23.5% and 57.1%) and reflux symptoms (respectively 0.0%, 11.8% and 42.9%). Conclusion: The application of Braun enteroenterostomy and Roux-en-Y gastroenterostomy to the small gastric remnant may be effective for reducing reflux symptoms and abdominal discomfort after distal gastric resection. We recommend Roux-en-Y gastroenterostomy when the size of the gastric remnant is <10%, and Braun anastomosis in the others. It will need to be determined which reconstructive procedure is better for many different conditions.

Dedicated single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) systems based on pixelated semiconductors are being developed for studying small animal models of human disease. To clarify the possibility of using a SPECT system with CdTe for a high resolution low-dose small animal imaging, we compared the quality of reconstructed images from pixelated CdTe detector to those from a small SPECT system with NaI(Tl). The CdTe detector was $44.8{\times}44.8$ mm and the pixels were $0.35{\times}0.35{\times}5$ mm. The intrinsic resolution of the detector was 0.35 mm, which is equal to the pixel size. GATE simulations were performed to assess the image quality of both SPECT systems. The spatial resolutions and sensitivities for both systems were evaluated using a 10 MBq $^{99m}Tc$ point source. The quantitative comparison with different injected dose was performed using a voxelized MOBY phantom, and the absorbed doses for each organ were evaluated. The spatial resolution of the SPECT with NaI(Tl) was about 1.54 mm FWHM, while that of the SPECT with a CdTe detector was about 1.32 mm FWHM at 30 mm. The sensitivity of NaI(Tl) based SPECT was 83 cps/MBq, while that of the CdTe detector based SPECT was 116 cps/MBq at 30 mm. The image statistics were evaluated by calculating the CNR of the image from both systems. When the injected activity for the striatum in the mouse brain was 160 Bq/voxel, the CNR of CdTe based SPECT was 2.30 while that of NaI(Tl) based SPECT was 1.85. The CNR of SPECT with CdTe was overall higher than that of the NaI(Tl) based SPECT. In addition, the absorbed dose was higher from SPECT with CdTe than those from NaI(Tl) based SPECT to acquire the same quantitative values. Our simulation results indicated that the SPECT with CdTe detector showed overall high performance compared to the SPECT with NaI(Tl). Even though the validation study is needed, the SPECT system with CdTe detector appeared to be feasible for high resolution low-dose small animal imaging.
