  • Medical technology development and increase the income level of a "Long and healthy Life=Wellness," with the growing interest in actively promoting and maintaining health and wellness has become enlarged. In addition, the demand for personalized health care services is growing and extensive medical moves of big data, disease prevention, too. In this paper, the main interest in the market, highlighting wellness in order to support big data-driven healthcare quality through patient-centered medical services purposes. Patients with drug dependence treatment is not to diet but to improve disease prevention and treatment based on analysis of big data. Analysing your Tweets-daily information and wellness disease prevention and treatment, based on the purpose of the dictionary. Efficient big data analysis for node while increasing processing time experiment. Test result case of total access time efficient 26% of one node to three nodes and case of data storage is 63%, case of data aggregate is 18% efficient of one node to three nodes.

  • 무선 BAN은 인체를 중심으로 3m 이내에서 이루어지는 통신을 위한 기술이다. 무선 BAN은 인체 내 외부에서 의료용 서비스를 위하여 여러 개의 채널로 구성된 MICS(Medical Implanted Communication Service) 주파수 대역을 사용한다. MICS는 다중 채널 환경에서 LBT(Listen Before Talk)와 AFA(Adaptive Frequency Agile)을 사용하여 장치간의 간섭을 최소화한다. 경쟁기반의 LBT와 AFA는 데이터 전송의 안정성을 보장하지 못할 뿐만 아니라 채널 홉핑(Hopping)으로 인한 전력 소비를 야기한다. 본 논문에서는 의료용 데이터의 주기적인 특성과 전송 안정성을 고려하여 예약 기법의 채널 액세스 관리 기법을 제안한다. 여러 채널 가운데 하나의 채널을 제어 채널로 설정하고 나머지는 데이터 전송을 위한 채널로 설정한다. 코디네이터는 제어 채널에서 beacon을 전송하여 디바이스에게 데이터 채널을 할당한다. 예약방식을 통하여 채널 할당의 안정성을 확보할 뿐만 아니라 디바이스의 요구 사항에 따라 채널을 유동적으로 결합함으로써 채널의 효율성을 개선한다. 또한 제어 채널 관리 방안을 통하여 LBT 장치와 상호 운용성을 확보하고, 시뮬레이션을 통하여 예약방식의 채널 관리 방안의 효율성을 검증한다.

  • With the rapid development of wireless communication, the confliction between the scarce frequency resources and the low spectral efficiency caused by the stationary spectrum sharing strategies seriously restricts the evolution of the future mobile communication. For this purpose, cognitive radio (CR) emerges as one of the most promising inventions which can overcome the spectrum shortage. As the key technology and main objective of CR, spectrum sharing can make full use of the limited spectrum, alleviate the scarcity of frequency resources and improve the system utilities, playing thereby an important role in improving the system performance of cognitive radio networks (CRNs). In this survey, the spectrum sharing in CRNs is discussed in terms of the sharing process, mainstream sharing technologies and spectrum sharing models. In particular, comparisons of different spectrum sharing strategies are concluded, as well as that of different spectrum sensing schemes in sharing procedure. Moreover, some application examples of the spectrum sharing in CRNs, such as smart grid, public safety, cellular network and medical body area networks are also introduced. In addition, our previous related works are presented and the open research issues in the field of spectrum sharing are stated as well.

A Study on Information Need and Use Behavior of Doctors (의사들의 정보요구 및 이용행태에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide for efficient health information service which doctors may use for their better medical practice and scientific research. 177 doctors were surveyed from December 3 to December 21th in 2007. This study mentioned activities of information need and use that were evaluated by information gathering methods used, information source, frequency of use, and degree of satisfaction toward library services. Doctors showed that they need information mainly to know the recent research results in their interesting subject field and to treat a patient. Doctors trended to obtain information through internet search because easy access and easy use, accuracy and up to dateness of information use. Doctors trended to seek information mainly through library, but they showed relatively low frequency of library use because they do not know how to use it.

  • As computer network and wireless technology continue to grow rapidly, a wide range of remote application has been applied to medical field such as remote medical consulting and remote patient monitoring. This research aims to design RF telecommunication-based healthcare application to collect and manage patient's physiological data, and describe the overall procedure of experiment. MySQL database is designed to record patient's physiological data including temperature, blood pressure and heart rate and save information about medical behaviors such as doctor's prescription for patients. Therefore, users approved by healthcare application can query patient's data and collected data can be used to reorganize data for clinical test. As a result, temperature and humidity of patient's room which must be checked frequently can be processed automatically through ubiquitous sensor network. The information entered from mobile phones or web is saved in database, ensuring systematical management through computer. Moreover, patient's family members can easily access hospital data, improving their experience with medical service.

  • The purpose of this study was to design and implementation of database for school health activity. This database system was designed stand-alone application for college school health center without a hospital affiliation and the database system was made of relational database management system, Microsoft access 2000 to be made GUI (Graphic user interface) type design and made up 7 tables: patients. symptoms. departments, income and outgo. medical cures. and medicine. The construction of this database system was patient management. code management. medicine management. and statistics management. The results of the database system were as follows; 1) This database system could be used for college school health center. 2) This database system could be made correct statistic data. 3) This database system could be managed income and outgo. 4) This database system could be changed for the better activity of community health service. 5) This database system could be simply attired administrative system. This database system will be used for students and employees to protect and promote health to measure for health level and quality of health service. In conclusion. this database system can be applied for unit health center to manage the college school health activity and advanced data management can be applied for health profession to do quality improvement. cost containment. management information system. and decision support system.

A Study on the Space Composition for Department of Delivery in Regional Public Hospital (지역거점 공공병원의 분만부 공간구성에 관한 연구(1))

  • Purpose: This study presents the analysis on space usage of delivery departments in regional public hospitals. The results intention is to achieve improvement of the delivery environment for the mothers and newborns regarding exposure prevention and efficient infection control. The purpose of this study is to provide fundamental data for architectural plans and guidelines for the delivery department. Method: The investigation and analysis were based on research papers, legal systems, public medical statistical data, and the architectural floor plan drawing. For research, 20 regional public hospitals with an operating delivery room were excluded. Regarding data accessibility, 15 regional public hospitals were selected. Results: To overcome the increased vulnerability of the delivery department, the research results of basic data is provided for the establishment to address urgent needs and rapid response. Thus, the research results are as follows: Firstly, the delivery department needs to respond promptly according to the type of patients. For example, in a case of emergency surgery, a connected circulation plan with the related departments is needed. Secondly, for the environment of the delivery area, alleviating anxiety is imperative for pregnant patients and guardians, labor, childbirth, and recovery. Therefore, these needs must be addressed for treatment space and circulation. Lastly, the delivery department is classified into three areas for analysis: access area, treatment area, and support area. In most of the delivery departments of the 15 selected hospitals, there is no space for the access and support area except for the labor and delivery rooms in the treatment area. For the access area, a waiting area, changing room for pregnant women and guardians, and a storage space for contaminated linens are required for infection prevention, safety, and efficiency. For the treatment area, childbirth processes and circulation should have space reserved for labor, delivery, recovery, examination, and treatment. In preparation for an emergency during childbirth, emergency response measures and supporting space needs to be established. For the support area, circulation and rooms are to be designed for medical staff support, activity space, storage and transportation of equipment, and urgent medical treatment. Implications: Along with the low fertility rate and the decrease of medical institutions that operate delivery departments, for the purpose of establishing a public medical service system and a healthy medical environment for mothers and newborns, the researched information demonstrates basic data on space plan of delivery departments in regional public hospitals.

  • With the proliferation of advanced wireless network and sensor technologies, smart devices under USN(ubiquitous sensor network) environment are capable of collecting context information such as temperature, humidity, weight, and location about objects at real time. Therefore, applications must be able to analyze collected information and notify useful information to wanted users timely. This service can be realized by implementing an event-based middleware. In the middleware, event messages collected from physical environment will be filtered according to profiles that users define in advance and the result will be sent to the interested users. In this paper, we present XML-based event model, ECA-based profile model, and the architecture of an event-based middleware suitable to USN environment. We will also model and describe them using the examples of logistics area. By implementing the system based on the design above, the middleware enable applications or users to easily access to physical sources. The proposed middleware can also apply to not only logistics area but also other various areas under USN environment such as intelligent traffic control system, national disaster management system and u-medical system.

  • This study purpose to identifying the roles of Health Information Librarian which its role is increasing according to increase recent interest in wellness and health. In other words, this study will present the Education, careen duties and so on, which should be possed by Health Information Librarian, based on the analysis of Job Site. As as result, first, health information professional librarian's name appears very diverse, and consumer health information librarian will be appropriate name for public libraries and medical librarian will be appropriate for medical library and hospital library. Second, education experience required for health information librarian is master's degree of library and information science and bachelor's or more health related degree. Third, at least two years of health-related field experience, particularly health information service experience, is required. Forth, excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills are required, expecially higher knowledge for health-related information resources is required. Fifth, the main duties what health information librarian need to perform, are library management services, training services, research services, access to and sharing of information resources, collection management, information management, information management technology, and advocacy.
