Improvement of Visualization System for Player's Sequential Forms in Sports Broadcasting

  • We improved a visualization system for a player's sequential forms called‘Multi-Motion’which has ever been used in NHK live broadcasting. It is to extract only the player's forms from background, and overlap them into one frame sequentially after fast performance for a vault game of gymnastics. It helps TV viewers understand the player's performing forms easily. We increased the performance of Multi-Motion by shortening the distance between the current frame and the reference frame, and the synthesis of the reference frame.

  • The rapid proliferation of mobile device such as PDA allows users more ubiquitous access to multimedia information. The user mobility provides users a uniform vision of their preferred working environment independently of their current points of attachment. Supporting the user mobility requires the Player capable of efficiently presenting the multimedia contents. MPEC-4 provides not only the description for coding audio and video (as its predecessors MPEG-1 and MPEG-2), but also for coding images, animations, interactivity and protecting content. With MPEG-4, we present interactive media using multiple objects - audio, video, image, 2D geometry, and text - in a single format. Therefore we propose the MPEC-4 Player for PDA. The proposed MPEG-4 Player for PDA supports mobility, portability and personality.

  • In this paper, we have proposed to show the change of player character's status visually in character graphics. We have chosen strength and dexterity as basic character status out of strength, constitution, willness, intelligence, and dexterity to express the transition of character graphics. The length of each bone can be reflecting the numerical value of dexterity, and the thickness can show that of strength. This kind of visual representation of character status helps player to reveal his/her character identity. We are expecting this visual representation for direction of fostering characters and character's experience would be applied to various entertainment areas widely.

  • This paper explores the concept of mobile gaming platforms and changes in game play through mobile parameters, focusing on the role of role-playing mobile games through mobile parameters. As a move, the Player combines the mobile media with the game platform. The daily time of the mobile mid-dividualization is reconstructed with the principle of superposition, which affects play experience on the mobile gaming platform. The character of a mobile role-playing game plays a non-integrated play where the player is staying, rather than an avatar character, and exhibits a non-dwelling character as a residential space. Automatic battle also regenerates unused combat forces in the form of explicit integration. The experience of combat in overlapping hours serves as a visual spectacle, and the player inhabits the fighter jets.

  • Various forms in order to play the video decoder and Demux specific needs. Depending on need, many developers to develop a filter, but KMP existing GOM player or players do not have the Open API, created difficulties in the use of filters and used for video playback issues are the selection of Codec. In this paper, written by the filter, easy to play and develop the library and search for Seek function designed to screen and screen capture, full screen, your screen, zooming DLL files for user convenience, such as building to the development. This study multimedia S/W technology and information and communication will contribute to the development.

  • In recent days, the number of users having multiple devices according to time and places continue to increases with the help of wide spreading plurality of mobile devices. Consequently, the need for a user to share a media content on his/her multiple devices; furthermore, this movement brings the expansion of N-screen service focusing on connectivity, mobility, and integrity. N-screen service is platform that mediates the use of content or services on multiple devices with the continuous playing scheme. However, N-screen services have the problem of being provided exclusively by a service provider. This paper aims to implement a continuous playing scheme based on RESTfull and on an open service platform; the prototype was successfully implemented on the Android - PC environment.

  • A Korean MP3player also has become complex multimedia device which can provide various functions such as DMB, image playback, radio, electronic dictionary, storage device, and Internet. However, these functions are not provided through one-time mediation. Therefore, studying which changes were made for obtaining or installing these functions and what made such changes possible will be a basis to approach the change factors of medium through medium. Ultimately, by enabling to access the factors of cultural and social changes through MP3player, the main point of this study, it will be a methodological attempt to study a social aspect through medium. This study approached re-mediation according to the genealogical change of MP3player. This study researched the change of media through mediation of MP3player, and approached the change in social contextuality through this. The factors for which a medium is changed are various, but in the change of MP3 player there is re-mediation of each medium in addition to technical change. That is, it is deemed that there are 're-mediation among devices' and 'socially contextual re-mediation' in the change through re-mediation of MP3player.

  • 컴퓨터 게임 중 MMORPG(Massively Multi-player Online Role Playing Game)는 다른 장르(Genre)의 게임들과 비교하여 상대적으로 개발 기간이 매우 길고, 게임을 구성하는 콘텐츠(contents)도 매우 방대하다. 그러나, MMORPG 를 처음 접하는 플레이어(Player)는 대부분의 경우, 단지 몇 시간 정도의 게임을 해본 후에 게임을 계속할지를 결정한다. 따라서, 플레이어가 게임을 지속적으로 즐기도록 하기 위해서 MMORPG 의 초기에 어떤 콘텐츠를 어떻게 제공할 것인지에 대한 설계는 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 현재 성공적으로 평가되는 MMORPG 들의 초기콘텐츠를 분석하고 이 분석을 기반으로 효과적인 초기콘텐츠 구성에 대해 기술한다. 이러한 연구는 개발되는 MMORPG 에서 초기 콘텐츠를 어떻게 효과적으로 구성할지에 대한 대안을 제시한다.

  • Is very simple in tension work of screen mesh for effective printing if worker uses screen mesh of player who desire at screen print process. General method is methods that use mesh of player who want on screen frame as screen plate because tensioned. The single layer screen plate was made from one sheet screen mesh and the double layer screen plate was made from two sheets screen mesh overlapped. The thickness of sensitive emulsion applied to double layer screen plate is more thicker than two time s of thickness of emulsion applied to single layer screen plate. It seems that the sensitive emulsion inserted between an upper layer and a lower layer of double layer screen mesh.
