  • The effects of environmental factors on adolescent’s socialization were examined according to the gender. Data were drawn from 1,412 adolescents. A hypothesized model was tested for male and female students separately by the links among housing, family conflicts, parent-adolescent relationship, family stress, peer relations, mass media, school atmosphere, consumption, consumer socialization, and adolescent’s socialization. There was no difference between male and female students in the predictability of the effects of environmental factors on internal and external socialization. For male students, the internal socialization was directly related to mass media, consumer socialization, peer relations, family stress, mother-adolescent relations, and school atmosphere. The external socialization was directly related to mass media, school atmosphere, consumer socialization, father-adolescent relations, housing, and mother-adolescent relations. For female students, the internal socialization was directly related to mass media, peer relations, father-adolescent relations, and consumer socialization. The external socialization was directly related to mass media, followed by consumer socialization, mother-adolescent relations, school atmosphere, housing, and peer relations. The findings are consistent with a growing body of literature showing that the environmental factors are related to male & female adolescent’s socialization.

  • Now more than ever, many journalists are using hospitals' homepages for articles about hospitals, their mission, research, and events. Therefore hospitals' homepages have to be planned and constructed for journalists. The purpose of this study is to investigate hospitals' online media relations through analysing homepages. For investigating specifically, this study compares hompages of hospitals in Korea and hospitals in USA. This study uses four categories; basic media relations tools, useful information, interactive communication tools, and ease of use for journalists. The result of this study shows that hospitals' homepages in Korea are needed to improve for building with journalists. The hospitals' hompages have to be constructed by a variety of materials; press room, image and graphic archives, multimedia resources, and interactivity or responsiveness. This study suggests that the hospitals' homepages have the potential to achieve the desired public relations objective but are not commonly being used to their full potential in media relations.

  • This study aims to reveal the various differences within the factors that influence use satisfaction, continuous use intention, and media substitution intention, specifically in regard to the use motives and use behaviors of Netflix viewers. This study's results demonstrate that the following various factors affected use satisfaction, continuous use intention, and media substitution intention in differential ways. Firstly, the diversity of content influenced use satisfaction to a greater degree than social relations; and the diversity of content, social relations, and active participation all positively influenced continuous use intention. In other words, the more positively users appreciated the diversity of content, and the more strongly they had social relations, and the more actively they participated within communities, the greater degree to which they increased their continuous use intention for Netflix. However, the diversity of content and the convenience of use also had a negative effect on the media substitution intention for Netflix, which means that the more diverse the content and the more convenient the use of Netflix, the fewer the number of users who intended to cancel Netflix and subscribe to another OTT service or resubscribe to traditional media sources.

And it is useful for us to develop multimedia application software. Proposed paper represents model tat expresses continuous media and discontinuous media. And continuous medial show the temporal relations between media objects then discontinuous media spatial relations. The model proposed in this paper is effective in applying the system to guarantee high quality of services and can process real time application form applying efficient multiple key media when events occur. We verified that the proposed model has improved media palyout rate compared with other previous synchronization models through simulation.

  • In this study, we analyzed the factors that affect public awareness campaigns on social media platforms and developed an integrated model for measuring the persuasiveness of environmental social media campaigns. A survey questionnaire was created and distributed on Facebook with the goal of reaching individuals in their 20s and 40s in Vietnam, and 395 valid replies were gathered. The findings showed that the STOPS was reconfirmed as a suitable theoretical framework for analyzing the public's behaviour intention to conduct information related to the issue of fine dust, especially on social media. Furthermore, it also showed that social media efficacy has a moderating effect on the relationship between public's situational recognition and informational behaviour intention. This suggested that through social media platforms, personal characteristics play a vital part in developing effective environmental campaigns. Implications for both theory and practice were discussed.
